7:03 a.m. – Deputy located an illegal campsite on Green Peter 320 road and investigated litter, 17 tires and burned metal wire, in two different locations on Corps of Engineers property in the area. Report taken.
7:10 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle during the night, 1300 block of Hawthorne. Report taken.
9:51 a.m. – Caller reported that someone is sleeping behind the building, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Officer responded and found just a bundle of blankets. Officer left a business card advising whoever had been staying to move their belongings.

12:20 a.m. – Caller reported that a male still had a key to rooms and was in a room earlier in the day, 3026 Main St., Sun Motel. The caller said he continues to try to get into a room. Report taken for criminal trespass.

9:34 a.m. – Caller reported she believed someone tampered with the lock on her car door 2400 block of Main. Officer responded. No one had tampered with the lock. It had ice in it. Officer was able to unlock the car for the caller.
11:35 a.m. – Michael Dashawn Ferebee, 38, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for probation violation on original charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree disorderly conduct and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 4610 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:02 a.m. – Caller reported that male subjects were out front stating they were going to hurt him, 900 block of Long. Officer contacted the caller, who believed that people had installed video cameras throughout his house and were then outside harassing him.
