12:47 a.m. – Caller reported her neighbors have had their dogs locked in a U-Haul all day and they have been barking nonstop, 200 block of 10th. Officer contacted the owner of the dogs and advised him of the complaint. He agreed to keep the dogs quiet for the rest of the night.
8:11 a.m. – Adam Jay Lamb, 40, cited for dog at large, 700 block of 10th. Caller had reported a neighbor’s dog was out again, and another dog was barking nonstop. Dog placed in kennel. Owner notified.

3:14 a.m. – Justin Ray Nicholson, 23, arrested for fourth-degree assault and strangulation and Linn County warrant for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, 4306 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported two males fighting.
8:36 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in a handicap spot without a placard, 2440 Long St. Officer located a vehicle parked in the striped area next to a disabled parking spot. When the caller left, the subject went onto the neighbor’s porch and went through an ash tray. Officer contacted the resident, who was fine with the female coming onto the porch and getting cigarettes butts. Female advised to have permission from property owners before going onto properties.

3:17 p..m. – Caller reported a possible intoxicated driver in a white pickup with a red bumper swerving back and forth, 18th and Main. Officer contacted the driver, who was having a medical emergency. Medics dispatched and patient transported to hospital.

8:21 a.m. – A male subjected to a release agreement accompanied the protected female to location, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Report taken for violation of release agreement to be forwarded to the district attorney for review.
10:38 a.m. – Shane Alan Tyree, 15, cited for no license, 15th and Main.
10:40 a.m. – Caller reported that someone backed into her vehicle and damaged the door, 100 block of Main. Report taken for hit and run.
11:05 a.m. – Deputies discovered a butchered cow elk carcass, 42500 block of Marks Ridge. Deputies were unable to determine if the animal was killed legally. Information forwarded to Oregon State Police Fish and Game.
11:13 a.m. – A 17-year-old male taken into custody for runaway and a Linn County warrant for fourth-degree assault, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.

12:08 p.m. – Caller reported that she was walking her dog on a leash in the 1600 block of 12th, and a pit bull came out and attacked her dog. The owner of the dog told her she shouldn’t walk her dog near his house because his dog is aggressive. Officer contacted both parties. Officer counseled the owner of the aggressive dog. He said he would try to do a better job of controlling his dog.

6:57 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle unable to maintain lane, Main and 12th. Officer contacted the registered owner of the vehicle. She couldn’t get her window to defrost. Officer assisted her in turning on her defroster. Owner headed home.
7:30 p.m. – Jeffrey Davis Miller, 51, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and interfering with making a report, 4695 Mahogany Lane.
10:04 p.m. – Caller requested an officer assist with an overdose, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer responded. A male was heavily intoxicated and had injured himself by falling. Medics transported him to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

4:16 a.m. – Caller reported his or her partner overdosed, 5300 block of Poplar. Caller was unsure of address and disconnected. With limited information, officer checked the area. Unable to locate.
5:52 a.m. – Andrea Ashby, 36, arrested on a warrant for contempt of court and lodged at Lebanon Police Dpartment, 26500 block of Ridgeway.
8:58 a.m. – Caller reported he was walking past a vehicle and a male occupant got out and slapped him, 200 block of Main. Officer spoke with the caller on the phone. The caller did not know who the male was. He said he would call back if he saw the male again. Information noted.
1:07 p.m. – Caller reported a white van parked on the side of the road, 900 block of Main. The vehicle had curtains pulled over the windows and cameras sticking out of the curtains. Officer responded and contacted a male, who said he was a private investigator working on a case.
1:11 p.m. – Caller reported an elderly male was inside yelling he needed medical assistance and the door was locked, 3100 block of Main. Officer able to get inside. Medics attended to the male.
1:56 p.m. – Garry Lee Pitts, 43, cited for failure to register vehicle, Thriftway parking lot off Highway 228.
2:13 p.m. – Caller found syringes in the roadway, 1100 block of 38th. Officer disposed of syringes.

3:29 p.m. – Shauna Ray Harden, 24, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, and Weston Donovan Thompson, 26, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, 2018 18th Ave. Thompson transported to Lebanon Police Department. 8:16 p.m. – Caller reported a male with a large branch standing on the side of the road, 1200 block of Long. The caller felt it was suspicious. Officer contacted a male who was having mental health issues and had been drinking. He was not a candidate for a police officer hold and continued walking with the branch.
