p.m. – Caller reported that a large motor home has been parked on the
street for three weeks and is blocking the caller’s view of the
street when he is backing out of his driveway, 1300 block of
Evergreen. Referred to code enforcement officer.

p.m. – Caller reported a male subject had pointed a gun at him, Lewis
Creek Park. Caller told police he observed a male arguing with a
female, and the male began slamming the truck door on the female as
she was getting in. The caller walked over and told the male to stop.
The male pulled a gun on the caller and threatened to shoot. The male
lowered the gun, and the caller grabbed it from him and threw it into
the bed of the suspect’s pickup. Male left. Caller was unable to
get a full license plate. Linn County deputy contacted Sweet Home
Police Department asked to be on the lookout for the suspect’s
vehicle.

Post Office. Officer responded, and vehicle was signed as stolen.
Before the vehicle was entered into the Law Enforcement Database, an
officer located the vehicle, and it was returned to owner.

believes it was the same person who stole her vehicle, which was just

disorderly conduct, and Cassie Marie Taylor, 21, arrested on Linn
County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of
second-degree criminal mischief (owes five days in jail), 1200 block
of Nandina. Pitts cited and released. Taylor given a citation to
report to jail on Sept. 12 due to jail being full. Multiple callers
had reported a male punching a female.
