6:30 p.m. – Caller reported subjects have items in the middle of the road with fishing line tied to them, 1400 block of 54th. Officer contacted subjects who had tied an old purse to a fishing line, and they were reeling it in when cars drove by. They were warned and agreed to stop.
7:27 p.m. – Corbin Christy, 14, referred to Juvenile Department for third-degree theft in connection to a theft at Dan Dee Sales on June 8, 39470 Mountain Home Drive. Juvenile released to mother.

11:29 p.m. – Donald Wayne Ames Jr., 23, arrested for felony fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported hearing people fighting and could hear children crying.

2:25 p.m. – Single-vehicle crash, 43700 block of North River. Driver was eastbound on North River Road and hit the gravel area of the road. He started to go too far right in the loose gravel, pulled left and over-corrected, with the vehicle crashing on its right side in the ditch on the other side of the road. No injuries. No citations.
