2:22 a.m. – Caller reported someone had broken into her house within the last few hours and stole DVDs, electronics and jewelry, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken. Caller preparing list of items.
3:25 a.m. – James Andrew Linder, 23, cited for driving while suspended, failure to carry proof of insurance, failure to renew registration, failure to carry registration and failure to drive within lane, 22nd and Main. Vehicle impounded.
4:32 a.m. – While on the traffic stop in the previous entry, officer discovered stolen goods he believed to have come from the burglary reported at 2:22 a.m. on Nandina Street. James Andrew Linder, 23, arrested for first-degree burglary and additional charges were pending. Linder transported to Linn County Jail.
8:26 a.m. – Theodore Rynveld, 50, arrested for Linn County warrant for failure to comply, 1343 Hawthorne St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
Jan. 22
1:49 a.m. – Officer located mail scattered in the roadway, 1100 block of Mountain View. Mail was determined to be that of the officer’s. Info noted.
2:32 a.m. – Jason Leroyce Anderson, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and cited with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, Long and 22nd. Cited and released.
7:17 a.m. – Two callers report a horse running around Mountain Shadows Trailer Park, 1530 Tamarack St. Officer responded and located horse and owners’ address. The owners had a lead rope on the horse and were trying to get it back into its pen area.
4:48 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into location and stole approximately $10,000 in property, 100 block of Hawthorne. Officer responded. Subject was not able to give officers a description of what was missing. Caller asked to provide sufficient information to launch an investigation. Case pending to determine if a crime has been committed.
Jan. 21
1:07 p.m. – Dawn Marie Fisk, 48, arrested for third-degree theft and possession of a controlled substance Schedule Three, 4880 48th Loop. Cited and released. Arrest was in connection to an incident where a subject allegedly stole prescription medication that had been dropped on the floor.
2:50 p.m. – Caller reported someone slashed two tires on his vehicle, 1800 block of Ames Creek. Report taken. Approximate damage was $100.
7:49 p.m. – Dallas Ryan Womack, 16, referred to Juvenile Department for runaway, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
Jan. 20
1:35 a.m. – Travis Earl Pressey, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of interfering with a police officer, Elm and 11th. Cited and released.
2:42 a.m. – David James Kamarec, 16, referred to Juvenile Department for curfew violation, 2200 block of Long. Released to guardian.
1:52 p.m. – Caller reported someone ran over her husband’s foot while he was in the crosswalk. The driver did not stop, but the caller had a description of the vehicle, a red sedan driven by an older male, Clark Mill and Main. Report taken.
11:21 p.m. – Dustyn Lee Barcus, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Cited and released.
Jan. 19
7:01 a.m. – Daniel Keith Follett, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Albany. Cited and released.
12:08 p.m. – Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 36, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct (owes 10 days in jail), Ames Creek and Mountain View. Transported to Linn County Jail.
5:50 p.m. – James Andrew Linder, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.
7 p.m. – Dustyn Lee Barcus II, 12, taken into custody for harassment and menacing, 2440 Long St. Referred to Juvenile Department and released to mother.
9:53 p.m. – Caller reported at least two gunshots in the area, 6100 block of Main. Second caller reported discovering juveniles lighting fireworks. They ran off when confronted. Officer responded but was unable to locate any signs of suspicious activity.
Jan. 18
9:30 a.m. – Caller reported his tires were slashed sometime during the night, 3700 block of Long. Two vehicles had tires slashed, with approximately $200 in damage. Report taken.
9:46 a.m. – Caller reported someone cut his telephone line, 1500 block of 40th. Report taken for third-degree criminal mischief.
10:43 a.m. – Aaron Scott Brian Voelsch, 12, taken into custody for two counts of third-degree assault and one count of fourth-degree assault, 3205 Long St. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center. Caller had reported a student was stabbed with a pencil numerous times on the bus the day before.
1:28 p.m. – Caller reported gasoline had been taken from two vehicles on his property, approximately $10 worth, 40200 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Report taken.
11:12 p.m. – Denise Marie Bonneville, 26, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Cited and released.
Jan. 17
5:27 p.m. – Caller reported his son was hit by a vehicle while walking home from school, 18th and Long. Officer responded and learned the incident occurred 25 minutes earlier. The boy was walking north crossing Long Street when a white pickup struck him, primarily striking the juvenile’s hand. The vehicle briefly stopped and then continued on.
7:02 p.m. – Caller reported theft of tips, 604 Main St., Dutch Bros. Officer responded and took report for third-degree theft of $16 in tips.
Jan. 16
7:16 p.m. – Jason Leslie Shively, 44, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault and failure to comply on original charge of disorderly conduct, 4611 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
8:44 p.m. – Richard Guy Tagen, 23, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, and Sutherlin warrant for failure to appear, 4611 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
8:59 p.m. – Rochelle Zamacona, 19, arrested on charges of first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal mischief after allegedly kicking in a front door and causing $101 in damage to a private residence, 38100 Courtney Creek Drive. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:54 p.m. – Caller reported hearing two large explosions, Seventh and Ironwood. Multiple calls described sound as gunshots or explosions. Officer checked and stayed in area. Unable to locate.
1:01 p.m. – Caller reported that a male subject rented a room at the Sun Motel, 3026 Main St., that had a connecting door for another room. The male opened that door and used the other room without paying. Report taken.
Jan. 15
4:03 p.m. – Caller reported two thin horses in bad shape, 26300 block of Holley Road. Deputy responded and found a 25- to 30-year-old appaloosa. All other animals were in good shape. Owner was aware of horses’ condition. Both are old and required special attention. No action.
4:37 p.m. – Search initiated at Ray Benson Snow Park. Couple went for a walk. They were dressed for weather and had food. They went 4 miles, got cold and requested assistance. They were located by Hoodoo Ski Patrol and returned to lodge. No action by Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
