Jan. 16

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported a tarp stolen from her vehicle sometime during the night, 2800 block of Fir. Report taken. Tarp valued at $30.

12:59 p.m. – Transformer on fire, 44th and Main.

Jan. 15

6:46 a.m. – Caller reported someone banging on her front door, and she had no idea who it was, 1600 block of Elm. Officer contacted male subject who was looking for a place to stay, but he did not know anyone in the area. He moved on.

8:45 a.m. – Caller reported door to vacant business had been broken open, 1111 Main St. Officer found no one inside and contacted building owner, who referred the officer to a property management company. There was no answer. Owner advised that officers resecured the door as well as they could but a more permanent fix was needed.

10:44 a.m. – Caller reported someone stole his duffle bag with his belongings while he was in Speedee Mart, 1501 Main St. Unknown if bag lost or taken. Blue bag contained clothes and papers. Information noted.

12:45 p.m. – Guy Richard Tagen, 41, cited for second-degree criminal mischief, 1610 Elm St. Caller reported a male had tried to kick in her window. Tagen transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital on a police officer hold for mental evaluation.

9:04 p.m. – Connie Roxanne Pierce, 44, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, 12th near Main. Cited and released.

9:26 p.m. – Lynette M. Adams, 29, cited for driving while suspended, South Fork.

Jan. 14

2:04 a.m. – Caller reported numerous small cylinders in the roadway at the entrance to Safeway, 1540 Main St. Items appeared to be CO2 cartridges and were in the parking lot near the west doors. No hazard. No damage.

Jan. 13

4:38 a.m. – Justin Lee Walker, 24, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 3224 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Jan. 12

10:46 a.m. – Robert James Selph, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, Marion County. Transported to Marion County Jail for transport to Linn County Jail.

10:50 a.m. – Steven Wayner Thomas, 57, cited for speeding, 57-35, and careless driving, 300 block of West Holley.

3:11 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 18th and Long. Drivers were Sonja Diane Reagan, 44, and Lucien Mills Harriman, 79. No injuries. No citations.

4:07 p.m. – Caller reported that while walking along the road, he saw a lot of garbage that had been dumped, Citabria Street. Officer responded and contacted the female to whom the garbage belonged. Her 17-year-old son admitted to dumping the garbage. Female was advised that if garbage was not cleaned up by the following day when Public Works employees arrived, the family will be charged.

7:53 p.m. – Joseph Michael McCaslin, 21, arrested for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree criminal mischief, 1281 Evergreen. Cited and released.

11:47 p.m. – Kaytlin Michelle Hurt, 19, arrested on two Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of harassment, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Trailer Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Jan. 11

12:36 a.m. – Caller reported that someone hit her fence a week ago, 500 block of Surrey. Officer responded and took report for approximately $100 in damage.

4:02 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 1100 block of Main. Drivers were Richard Douglas Winburn, 50, and Todd Allen Carter, 50. No injuries. No citations.

6:55 p.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 23, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of failure to appear and on additional charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree escape. Also cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, 12th and Poplar. Cited and released.

8:42 p.m. – Caller reported several juveniles trying to break into vehicles, 400 block of Osage. Officer took report for two counts each of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree criminal mischief. Nothing taken from vehicles. Items taken from glove boxes and left on seat.

Jan. 10

1:39 a.m. – Laticia Pilar Sanchez, 21, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information and Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1220 23rd Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:33 a.m. – Caller reported someone tore off one of her windshield wipers during the night, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief. Damage estimated at $50.

1:29 p.m. – Caller reported theft of earphones the day before, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken for third-degree theft. Earphones valued at $4.99.

3:31 p.m. – Brian Daniel Watkins, 38, cited and released on Lebanon warrant for third-degree theft, 2000 Main St.

6:06 p.m. – Jacob Lynn Goodwin, 16, referred to Juvenile Department for runaway, 1314 Sunset Lane.

8:32 p.m. – Boy hit by vehicle somewhere on 13th Avenue. Officer responded and contacted involved parties. Driver was unaware he hit a pedestrian. There were some injuries. Pedestrian transported to hospital by a relative. Parent did not want to pursue charges.

Jan. 9

2:15 p.m. – Officer located stolen vehicle near railroad trestle Near Green River. Owner contacted.

2:21 p.m. – Karen L. Bauggus, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

2:30 p.m. – Richard Anthony Bender, 17, turned himself in on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of minor in possession, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

6:25 p.m. – Caller reported subjects at skate park after dark. Officer contacted a couple of juveniles who were made aware of hours. They moved on.

8:01 p.m. – Denise Marie Bonneville, 26, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 22nd and Main. Held for detox and released. Caller reported woman in the middle of the street yelling and flipping off passing cars.
