10:01 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of two bags of cans from her carport, 600 block of Seventh. Report taken. Loss valued at $5.

11:51 a.m. – Caller reported a small dog stuck in her fence, 1100 block of 22nd. The caller did not know who it belongs to or where it came from. Officer contacted a male neighbor, who said his dog got stuck in the fence. He helped free it and took it home.

Jan. 11

1:44 p.m. – Zachary Gene Johnson, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:07 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle during the night, 900 block of Grape. Report taken. Nothing was taken.

6:52 p.m. – Caller reported a female was aggressively panhandling in the parking lot, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Female told the officer she is waiting for a ride, and the officer advised her she could be trespassed if police continue to receive complaints.

10:27 a.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s mailbox was hit by a vehicle, 200 block of West Osage. Report taken.

12:27 p.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct; state warrant for parole violation; and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and second-degree disorderly conduct, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:54 p.m. – Caller reported the fence surrounding Overhead Door, 1744 Main St., had been cut. Nothing appeared damaged or taken. Report taken.

5:58 p.m. – Caller reported two cameras missing, 900 block of Seventh. Report taken.

6:44 p.m. – Caller reported finding $20 in the Safeway parking lot, 1540 Main St. Officer seized property.

1:05 a.m. – Kevin Austin Corrington, 16, cited for driving outside restrictions, 22nd and Long.

8:58 a.m. – Teresa Rena Davis, 50, cited for driving while suspended, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

3:14 p.m. – Alexandra Marie Tevogt 25, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

3:27 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a piece of plastic from his vehicle, 600 block of Fifth. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

11:39 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a four-wheeler from his garage, 900 block of 27th. Report taken. Loss valued at $7,000.

8:25 a.m. – Caller reported sacks of garbage piled against a fence, 900 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

8:28 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a vehicle and stole his girlfriend’s wallet, 1000 block of Seventh. Report taken. Loss valued at $315.

4:52 p.m. – James Andrew Linder, 26, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of probation violation. Cited and released.

2:46 a.m. – Lacey Renae Matthews, 31, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, 6099 Main St., The Woods Tavern. Cited and released. Officer located subjects parked at location after hours. Subjects warned not to loiter at a closed business.

7:47 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle, 1700 block of Dogwood. Report taken. Loss valued at $79.

8:16 a.m. – Caller reported a dead tree in neighbor’s yard, 500 block of Sixth. Referred to code enforcement.

8:50 a.m. – Caller reported finding her stolen bicycle, 1250 Nandina St. Bicycle matched and returned to owner.

1:24 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was hit in the past 24 hours and damaged. Report taken. Damage estimated at less than $1,500.

7:58 p.m. – Jimmy William Alverson, 42, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Cited and released. Caller had reported a neighbor caught on video breaking out her vehicle window.

11:47 p.m. – Ladona Sue Parham, 32, cited for no license, driving uninsured and failure to display plates on an out-of-state vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

5:01 a.m. – Anthony Joe Gandrud, 26, cited for speeding, 40-25, downtown Main Street.

9:49 a.m. – Mitchell Allen Fowler, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

10:35 a.m. – Robin David Fox, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of manufacturing marijuana, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:06 a.m. – Keith Allen Smith, 50, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

11:45 a.m. – Caller reported a homemade trailer filled with recyclables stolen, 12th Avenue. Report taken.

12:51 p.m. – Caller reported a student in possession of a marijuana pipe, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

2:47 p.m. – Billy Don Passmore, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, 1380 Quince St. Cited and released.

4:28 p.m. – Caller reported neighbors burning trash in the backyard, 1000 block of 13th. Officer contacted homeowner, who was advised of the complaint and potential penalties.

1:45 p.m. – Caller reported finding a purse with drug-related items inside at the rock pit on Berlin Road. Deputy seized the purse and placed it in evidence.

4:21 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a wallet, 900 block of Oak Terrace. Information noted.

4:30 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a new cell phone and pre-paid card, 27900 Riggs Hill. Loss valued at $69.88. Report taken.

6:12 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a motor home, 1200 block of 46th. Report taken.

Jan. 2

12:48 a.m. – Caller reported a non-injury single-vehicle crash, 43900 Shea Hill. A vehicle was pulled out of the ditch. There was blood inside. No one was around the vehicle. The vehicle was tagged as abandoned and checked the following day. The vehicle had already been removed.

4:29 p.m. – Kevin Mercure, 24, cited for two counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor and two minors cited for minor in possession of alcohol, 44900 block of Quartzville. Marine deputy had contacted three males fishing on Foster Reservoir.

3:59 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a Yamaha generator worth $699 from underneath the caller’s travel trailer, 29600 block of Speasl. Report taken.
