July 23

2:07 a.m. – Caller wanted to speak to an officer right away but refused to give dispatch any details, 1400 block of Sunset. Officer responded. Caller did not have anything criminal to report. He wished to discuss government conspiracies. Caller was encouraged to go to bed.

2:30 a.m. – Lynette Irene Johnson (Leslie), 39, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended and probation violation, 2405 Main St. Cited and released.

3:08 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a semi-automatic handgun during the weekend, 41200 block of Highway 228. Report taken. Loss valued at $550.

3:24 p.m. – Caller reported the burglary of a guard shack in Lewis Creek Park, 44400 North River Drive. No damage, but $95 in office items were taken.

July 22

12:56 a.m. – James Andrew Linder, 30, cited and released in the field for third-degree theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

2:31 a.m. – Caller reported a male and a female were outside her residence yelling at each other, 1900 block of Willow. Officer contacted all parties involved. Each wished to pursue harassment charges against the other. Information forwarded to the city attorney for review.

2:40 a.m. – Caller brought in a dog she found on Rowell Hill Road. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control advised.

6:54 a.m. – Caller reported her husband was chasing her, Hawthorne School. Officer spoke with all involved. Report to be forwarded to the city attorney for review.

11:10 a.m. – Caller found a wallet, 47th Avenue and river. Placed in found property.

11:26 a.m. – Caller reported his firearm was stolen, 2200 block of Nandina. Report taken.

12:20 p.m. – Eric Raymond Shipp, 43, arrested for third-degree theft, resisting arrest and second-degree criminal mischief, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported a male stealing some chicken and a drink.

1:33 p.m. – Single vehicle crash, 15th and Main. Report taken. No injures. No citations.

3:22 p.m. – Caller reported a transient was siphoning fuel from a vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer unable to locate subjects or vehicle.

4:08 p.m. – Caller reported his sister was involved in a non-injury crash in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

7:34 a.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.

7:51 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female appeared to be camping in the gravel turnout, Main and railroad trestle. Officer contacted subjects in question. They said they were having housing issues and needed a place to stay for the night. They agreed to move their belongings and find a different location.

9:10 p..m. – Melisa Marie Wiggins, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park.

10:25 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbor was on a blow horn yelling things, 4200 block of Long. Officer responded. Residence was quiet. Officer contacted the homeowner and advised her of the city ordinances and potential consequences should she resume the reported activities. She was not receptive to anything the officer had to say. Caller advised to call back if there were any further issues.

July 21

3:59 a.m. – Caller reported that four handguns were missing several years ago and the owner has since died, 38200 block of Liberty. Owner’s daughter wanted to report them missing or stolen. Loss valued at $2,400. Report taken.

7:47 a.m. – Caller reported that a female she had a stalking order against went to her parents house and asked for her address, 1900 block of 19th. The female then drove to the caller’s house and pulled into the driveway. Report taken.

8:27 a.m. – Melanie Zajic, 34, arrested for violation of stalking order, 28190 Weatherly Lane. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:55 a.m. – Caller reported a male stole items from the store and left west on Nandina in a vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at less than $10.

1:07 p.m. – Eric Raymond Shipp, 43, cited for third-degree theft and trespassed, 1306 Main St., Main Streeet Market.

1:19 p.m. – Caller reported his sister-in-law was in the emergency room after being beat up by her boyfriend, 4800 block of 48th. Investigation continuing.

3:15 p.m. – Caller reported he lost his wallet at Safeway on July 20, 1540 Main St., Safeway. He checked his account and all his money was gone. Officer advised him of what to do next. Investigation continuing. Loss valued at $143.

5:54 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking nonstop, 900 block of 31st. Officer contacted the homeowner and advised of the complaint. The homeowner said the dogs that were barking were no longer there.

6:26 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into her son’s car while it was parked at the Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Report taken. Loss valued at $700.

7:33 p.m. – Christian Scott Barger, 20, arrested for felony fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 805 4th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:16 p.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor took the registration from the caller’s vehicle, 4200 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $10.

9:35 p.m. – Caller reported his neighbor’s dog had been barking for an hour, 300 block of 7th. Officer responded. Dogs were barking upon arrival. Officer left a business card requesting contact.

July 20

7:42 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on her father’s wife, 900 block of Poplar. She had made a concerning post on Facebook. Linn County dispatch reported medics en route to an unresponsive female. Medics transported her to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Caller advised.

9:28 a.m. – Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District reported suspicious fires started in the area of 29th and Long. Officer responded. It appeared children may have been lighting pitch on trees on fire. It had been smoldering for several days. Sweet Home fire officials planned to canvas the area and attempt to contact the children and parents in the area.

11:08 a.m. – Caller reported a husky in the backyard, 2200 block of Long. Officer placed a photo on Facebook. Dog claimed by owner.

12:08 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female fighting, 2200 block of Larch. Male was seen putting hands on the female. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

12:13 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles took a bottle of soda, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued t $5.98.

8:39 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs roaming freely around the neighborhood for the past 20 minutes, 3100 block of Long. Officer unable to locate dogs.

9:50 p.m. – Richard Lee Kintzley, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, and Vicki Susan Voldbaek, 57, cited for expired tags, 1500 block of Long. Kintzley transported to Linn County Jail.

10:23 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking, Dogwood and 7th. Quiet upon officer arrival.

10:33 p.m. – Caller reported she just watched her neighbor get assaulted, 1400 block of 13th. He was trying to walk to the Fire Hall for assistance. Officer contacted subject who was being attended to by medics. He said he was walking and a random person threw something and hit his head. He did not request further assistance.

11:07 p.m. – Caller reported neighbors dogs had been barking nonstop for 30 minutes, 47th and Long. Caller said this was unusual. Officer unable to locate and unable to stay in the area due to other calls.

July 19

2:54 a.m. – Jesse David John Martin, 18, arrested for third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass, 1237 Nandina St. Cited and released. Caller had reported two males stealing a couple of bags of cans from her yard.

5:37 a.m. – Caller found a wallet at McDonald’s, 2000 Main St. Placed in found property.

6:41 a.m. – Caller reported a damaged fence, 1200 block of Nandina. Information noted.

7:26 a.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked on railroad right of way, 1400 block of 24th. Officer contacted by registered owner, who agreed to have it moved by afternoon.

8:53 a.m. – Caller reported someone broke into a vacant residence, 2300 block of Harding. Report taken.

9:15 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked for two days, 43rd and Citabria. Officer responded and posted it for removal. Officer contacted the registered owner, who said she sold the vehicle and would advise the new owners.

11:20 a.m. – Peggy Lynn Gibson, 45, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

1:44 p.m. – Caller reported that her granddaughter broke into a residence, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken.

5:09 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered the caller’s residence and stole a Kenmore stove, refrigerator and dishwasher worth about $2,000, 28600 block of Liberty. Entry was made by prying open the back door. Report taken.

6:14 p.m. – Report taken for menacing, 25000 block of West Brush Creek.

8:03 p.m. – Kaleb Kimber Banta, 20, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to comply on original charge of possession of meth (owed five days in jail) and a new charge of possession of heroin, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:16 p.m. – Karalie Stroman, 31, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, 25000 block of West Brush Creek.

July 18

12:06 a.m. – Caller reported barking dogs, 700 block of 10th. Officer responded. No vehicles in driveway. House was dark. Officer left a business card.

5:22 a.m. – Caller reported that he hit a deer and damaged his vehicle, Main and Clark Mill. Officer responded. Deer dispatched. Officer assisted the driver in calling insurance.

9:02 a.m. – Caller reported a pickup with a screeching alarm in a yard, 300 block of 7th. When officer arrived, he located an electrical fire under the hood. Fire department responded.

11:56 a.m. – Daniel Anthony Ciullo, 30, served on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass, Clackamas County Jail.

1:34 a.m. – Albany police served a Sweet Home warrant on Matthew Wayne Short, 30, for failure to comply on original charge of harassment.

2:02 p.m. – Caller reported items taken from the caller’s porch, 1100 block of 38th. Report taken. Loss less than $500.

7:56 p.m. – Caller found a debit card, 1428 Main St., Linn-Co Federal Credit Union. Placed in found property.

July 17

12:05 a.m. – Caller reported a sex offense, 26800 block of Old Holley. Report taken.

3:52 a.m. – Caller reported an alarm activation, 2500 block of Long. Report taken for criminal mischief and theft. Loss valued at $5.

9:20 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 1100 block of 1st. Officer responded. Dog ran away prior to arrival.

9:21 a.m. – Tommy Joseph Lee Burke, 39, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance and trespassed from the caller’s property, 2000 block of Willow. Caller had reported the neighbor had six dogs running loose.

9:28 a.m. – Caller reported her husband’s bicycle was stolen, 800 block of Poplar. Report taken.

9:56 a.m. – Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital reported a male in the emergency room with a defensive knife wound on his left forearm. A second caller reported her son had been stabbed during the night and was at the emergency room. Report taken for a robber that occurred around 4:30 a.m.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbors had dogs in a kennel in the backyard in direct heat, 1200 block of 49th. Officer responded and advised owner of the concern. The dogs had plenty of water and igloo doghouses in the kennel. Officer suggested a tarp over the kennel due to the heat.

3:17 p.m. – Caller reported someone stole items from her vehicle while parked, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Report taken for attempted unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. A male suspect was interrupted before he took anything.

6:24 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of an inflatable kayak worth $60, 40900 block of Highway 228. The kayak was reportedly delivered by UPS at 2:06 p.m. but was not anywhere on the property when the caller arrived at 5:30 p.m. Report taken.

7:23 p.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall Jr., 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree assault, east of the 1900 block of 20th. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:51 p.m. – Officer located a wallet in the roadway, 2400 block of Long. Placed in found property.

9:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a male checked into a room while wearing a hospital gown, 3026 Main St., Sun Motel. The male looked pale and was wheezing. Officer responded and contacted the male, who had paperwork from Good Samaritan hospital showing he left earlier in the day against medical advice. Medics responded to check vitals. Medics transported the male to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

10:26 p.m. – Laticia Pilar Sanchez, 29, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer and a state warrant for parole violation, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:58 p.m. – Caller reported an unknown male and female were in her son’s room, 1700 block of Fir. The caller chased them off. Officer contacted the caller. Nothing was damaged or taken. Subjects may have had permission from the caller’s son to be there, but the son left earlier. Officer unable to locate the subjects.

July 16

7:40 a.m. – Caller reported trash cans were damaged during the night, 28300 block of Pleasant Valley.

8:53 a.m. – Caller reported a small hole in the front window, 1019 Main St. Report taken. Damaged valued at $500.

9:56 a.m. – Caller reported two wake boards stolen from his boat during the night, 44900 block of Quartzville, Sunnyside Park. Loss valued at $400.

10:26 a.m. – Caller found a license plate, 44900 block of Quartzville, Sunnyside Park. Placed in found property.

2:41 p.m. – Caller reported a female walked out of the store without paying, 1540 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at $5.

4:51 p.m. – Rachel Leann Adams, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for hit and run and cited for driving while suspended and no insurance, Highway 20 at the west city limits.

5:39 p.m. – Arne Joseph Gerard, 41, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and a state warrant for parole violation, 338 9th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:06 p.m. – Caller reported a male sitting at Safeway, 1540 Main St., had a dog that was in need of water and looked like it was suffering. Officer contacted the owner, who was getting water for the dog. The dog appeared healthy and uninjured.

7:58 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle with a rock at Thistle Creek Boat Ramp, 47300 block of Quartzville. Report taken. Among stolen items was a black boat cover worth approximately $600.

9:31 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole beer from the store, 1306 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken.

9:35 p.m. – Chavana Ann Bowser, 26, arrested on Marion County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and Tamarack. Cited and released.

9:39 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor has five dogs he lets run loose all the time, 2000 block of Willow. Officer responded. Neighborhood quiet upon arrival. Officer unable to locate the activity. Officer contacted the owner of the dogs and advised him of the complaint.

9:45 p.m. – Kyle James Elmer, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.

10:54 p.m. – James Andrew Linder cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 15th and Long.

11:23 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a couple of bags of cans, 2600 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.
