12:26 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Miles, 33, cited for illegal lane change in two-vehicle crash. Miles had been driving a log truck. Driver of the Honda Accord involved in the crash was Raymond Alton Epperson, 39, Highway 20 east of Sturdevant.
5:46 p.m. – Caller dropped off a wallet he found in a parking lot in the Sweet Home area. Property seized as found property and placed in property.

9:09 a.m. – Josalin Florence Charley, 23, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 16th and Elm. Cited and released.
10:30 a.m. – Katie Larissa Newman, 25, arrested on Washington County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and failure to perform the duties of a driver. Aaron Robert Baldinger, 30, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for third-degree theft (owes seven days in jail). Billy Joe Taylor, 32, arrested on Marion County warrant for obstruction, 1125 Spruce.
10:46 a.m. – John Craig Folling, 50, arrested for harassment and strangulation, 4196 Long St. Subject complained of back pain from an old injury and was transported by medics to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
12:32 p.m. – Jeffrey Michael Clark, 43, served on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, University of Oregon.
1:16 p.m. – Mindy Michelle Pickens, 33, cited for careless driving resulting in accident, Highway 20 and First. No injuries. Second driver was Whitney Elizabeth Moore, 26.
7:41 p.m. – Bobbi Jo Henson, 32, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charges of third-degree theft and probation violation, 4966 Locust Court. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.
9:48 p.m. – Caller reported seeing a cougar in a field off 43rd near the old mill site. Officer unable to locate. Oregon State Police advised.

2:42 p.m. – Caller reported returning home and finding that someone had broken into her house, 28700 block of Highway 20. Someone had gone through her jewelry box, but nothing was missing. Report taken.
2:45 p.m. – Caller reported someone stole plates from her vehicle, 48200 block of Cascadia Drive. Report taken.
10:04 p.m. – Caller reported finding a raft and items that had floated downriver, 1000 block of Pleasant Valley. Items dropped off at Sweet Home Police Department.
July 6
Caller reported that a 34-year-old was getting ready to jump off the ski tower on his boat when he slipped and fell through the windshield. He suffered a laceration to his left leg. The boat was anchored when it happened, but a wake caused him to lose balance, Thistle Creek Access Park. Report taken.
July 5
12:26 p.m. – Caller returned home to find a male subject inside her car. Another person ordered the subject out of the car at gunpoint and walked the subject to Ames Creek Road. The caller said the subject had broken out the window of her locked car and gone through it. Deputy contacted the suspect, who told the deputy he came upon the campsite and the vehicle, and he was looking for something to eat and drink. He asked the deputy to take his dog to Linn County Dog Control.

8:32 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of fishing poles worth $92, Sunnyside Park. Report taken.
12:16 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of two debit cards, 28800 block of Weatherly. Report taken.
1:01 p.m. – Caller reported a single vehicle crashing into a fence, 46000 block of Whiskey Butte. Vehicle had been northbound on Whiskey Butte, traveling down a hill on a gravel road. Negotiating a curve, vehicle lost control and crashed into a gatepost. A white female occupant with dark, chin-length hair, approximately 5’ 2” with a thin build had been driving the van. When she found out that 9-1-1 had been called, she said she had warrants and walked away. The van was reported stolen to Lebanon Police Department.
