June 24

8:51 a.m. – Caller located drug paraphernalia, near Cedar Shack. Officer seized property for destruction.

11:45 a.m. – Thomas Joseph Herb, 29, cited on Sweet Home warrant, Lebanon.

12:46 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole light bulbs from her vehicle, 200 block of Hawthorne. Report taken. Loss valued at $6.99.

June 23

1:41 p.m. – Caller reported the possible theft of a gun, 300 block of Elm. Report taken.

3:11 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject attempting to sell her husband a magazine subscription, 28th and Juniper. Officer responded and warned solicitor for violating the city ordinance, which requires a peddler’s license to go door-to-door. Solicitors were planning to move on.

5:54 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Legerwood II, 19, cited for failure to obey traffic control device and driving uninsured, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

8:26 p.m. – Donna Jean Greenwood, 63, cited for violation of city ordinance for discharging a BB gun, 424 11th Ave. Caller had reported a neighbor shooting a BB gun at him while he was in his backyard.

10:05 p.m. – Kenneth Ray Blacketer, 37, cited for driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, Ninth and Main.

June 22

10:42 a.m. – Caller reported a burglar, 3500 block of Flannigan. Report taken. Stolen property worth about $800.

10:55 p.m. – Caller reported finding a wallet on a sidewalk, Seventh Avenue. Property seized. Dispatcher unable to find contact information for owner. Placed in property.

1:14 p.m. – Malcolm Hinton Hicks, 27, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, 12th and Nandina. Cited and released.

7:34 p.m. – Katie Larissa Newman, 25, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

8:30 p.m. – Joshua Johansen Jones, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of possession of less than an ounce of a controlled substance, 2440 Long St. Cited and released.

June 21

12:11 a.m. – Brien Rowe Munts, 24, cited for endangering child passenger, 900 block of Nandina.

12:20 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of her bicycle from Subway, 1280 10th Ave. Report taken. Value approximately $100.

9:59 a.m. – Caller reported theft of bicycle worth $100, 2400 block of Long. Report taken.

10:48 a.m. – Michael Roy McMurray, 63, cited for speeding, 60-45, Highway 20 and Foster Dam Road.

12:22 p.m. – Nathan Allen Deffenbaugh, 36, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of possession of less than an ounce of a controlled substance and probation violation and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear, Towne Pump. Cited and released.

2:25 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a motorcycle, 600 block of Mountain View. Report taken. Value approximately $3,500.

3:44 p.m. – Caller reported that someone out of state has been trying to use his bank account, 900 block of Alder. Information noted. Caller given number to contact for assistance.

5:32 p.m. – Joshua David Denbo, 19, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Goodwill. Cited and released.

6:17 p.m. – Clinton Matt Edwards, 88, cited for failure to wear seatbelt and two counts of endangering a child passenger, 18th and Tamarack.

6:17 p.m. – Thomas Earl Goble, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 18th and Tamarack. Cited and released.

6:26 p.m. – Dakota Matthew Miranda, 13, taken into custody for fourth-degree assault and harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.

8:38 p.m. – Ryan David Greer, 34, cited for endangering a child passenger, Coffee Hut.

9:38 p.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 37, arrested on state warrant for paaken. Damage estimated at $100.

June 20

10:05 a.m. – Caller reported that someone accessed his account, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken.

3:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his debit card from his wallet in his house and then used it to get cash out of his bank account, 1200 block of 15th. Report taken for $200 loss.

June 19

1:24 a.m. – Cody Joe Smith, 37, cited for failure to renew registration, Highway 228 just past Fern Ridge.

1:42 a.m. – Chance Wade Smith, 16; Brianna Denise Thorpe, 15; Ryan Stephen Thorpe, 15, referred to Juvenile Department for curfew violation. Released to parents.

11:56 a.m. – Caller reported finding two cell phones in the women’s restroom, Northside Park. Officer seized property and would attempt to locate owner.

1:17 p.m. – Shaun Christian Stark, 32, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 442 Center St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:56 p.m. – Christina Marie Strahan, 26, cited for failure to use seatbelt, 18th and Main.

11:11 p.m. – Donna Ashley Claxton, 20, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 1296 45th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

June 18

6:06 a.m. – Caller reported that a female tried to get inside location, and when an employee wouldn’t open the door, the female urinated on the sidewalk, 1295 Main. Report taken.

7 a.m. – Caller reported seeing a cougar near the neighbor’s house, 40200 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Information forwarded to Oregon State Police.

7:04 a.m. – Caller reported her husband found a syringe, 300 block of Eighth. Officer seized item for destruction.

7:25 a.m. – Dawn Marie Bullock, 34, arrested for placing an offensive substance on property, 2300 block of Main in followup to earlier call.

10:20 a.m. – Megan Katherine Courtney, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of carrying a concealed weapon, Benton County. Cited and released.

11:48 a.m. – Caller reported that someone had broken into her house, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Approximately $230 in stolen property.

2:06 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter caught on video, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Report taken. Stolen property worth $35.97.

2:49 p.m. – Malcolm Hinton Hicks, 27, arrested for third-degree criminal mischief, 1237 Nandina St. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male subject causing more problems in the area. Damage estimated at $500.

9:43 p.m. – Caller reported hearing a female yelling for help, 100 block of Highway 228. Officer responded and contacted a resident who said a child was throwing a tantrum over having to go to bed. Officer contacted the child, who was fine and admitted to being upset over going to bed.

10:22 p.m. – Sirena Marie Patricio, 21, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear and possession of a controlled substance, Shea Point. Transported to Linn County Jail.

June 17

8:29 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of an aluminum rack system and equipment from his pickup, Thistle Creek Boat Ramp. Report taken.

4:19 p.m. – Lacey Marie Peterson, 30, cited for failure to renew registration and driving uninsured, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a male subject just stole a DVD and left in a green Toyota Rav 4, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

6:51 p.m. – Van Jerome Potts, 36, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal mischief, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

8:46 p.m. – Nathan Allen Oliver Deffenbaugh, 37, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 1250 Nandina St.

9:38 p.m. – Michael Franz Johnson, 45, arrested for second-degree disorderly conducted and cited with unlawful use of fireworks, 345 10th Ave. Cited and released. Callers had reported a gunshot in the area.

3:35 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a drift boat, 41900 block of North River. Report taken. Valued at $500.

June 12

4:55 p.m. – Caller reported that her ID was used to open three credit cards in her name, 40200 block of Mountain Home. Report taken.
