4:03 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a male slumped over in his vehicle, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Officer responded. The male had just fallen asleep and planned to move along shortly.
6:40 a.m. – Caller reported a car alarm going off and not stopping for the second time that morning, 4700 block of Main. Officer responded and contacted a male in need of medical attention. He had purposefully set off the vehicle alarm. Medics responded and tended to the male.
8:12 a.m. – Taylor Mespelt, 18, arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 1937 Main St., Dollar General. Cited and released. Vehicle impounded pending a search warrant.
8:37 a.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original two charges each of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, Albany.
2:47 p.m. – Tyler Scott Price, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Sherwood.

12:01 a.m. – Montana John Moore, 17, cited for speeding, 45 mph in a 25-mph zone, 4th and Main.
4:49 a.m. – Ryan Logan Binks, 26, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lincoln City.
7:31 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s pit bull keeps charging a fence, loosening the boards, 2200 block of Ironwood. Information noted at caller’s request.
8:12 a.m. – Caller reported a male and a female yelling back and forth from their camps in the parking lot for the previous hour, City Hall parking lot. Officer contacted a male and female who advised it was not them yelling. Officer advised them to pack and move along.
8:35 a.m. – While walking by, caller’s dog was attacked by two dogs, 7th and Dogwood. Officer talked to two juveniles who were watching a house for an adult brother. Officer advised them to maintain control of the dog.
9 a.m. – Caller reported that someone unlocked the caller’s empty vehicle, 1700 block of Grape. Information noted. Nothing taken.
11:41 a.m. – Caller was concerned that a homeless male could not take care of his friend’s two large dogs, which had been left with him. Dogs appeared in good health with plenty of food.
12:11 p.m. – Caller reported a dog left in a car with the window barely down, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. The dog was in no way distressed or overheated with all four windows vented.
1:11 p.m. – Caller reported her granddaughter was sent a Verizon phone and started getting calls demanding money, 2000 block of Pleasant Valley. Caller advised of options.
1:22 p.m. – Caller reported a boat parked on the street for a long time without moving, 300 block of 12th. Message left for owner.
1:39 p.m. – Caller reported that someone used the caller’s debit card, 1400 block of 13th. Caller had already notified the bank, and the bank covered the loss. Information noted.

12:16 p.m. – Caller found a $100 bill and believed it was counterfeit, 18th and railroad tracks. Bill seized.
2:49 p.m. – Shaun Vincent Carroll, 50, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1400 block of Main.

7:39 p.m. – Caller reported two males got into a physical altercation and one was bleeding from the ear, 700 block of Long. Officer contacted all parties involved. The males were adult brothers. Neither wanted to pursue charges. One male transported to the hospital by medics.

June 12
6:49 a.m. – Caller reported a male attempting to steal meat, 1540 Main St., Safeway. The male gave the meat back and left. Caller wanted the male trespassed. Male notified of trespass.
9:24 a.m. – Adam Reel, 40, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of recklessly endangering another person, 47th and railroad tracks.
9:31 a.m. – Caller reported a male and female left used syringes on the ground, 1913 Main St., Heritage Northwest. Officer disposed of the syringes. Caller advised to call back if the people returned so they could be trespassed.
9:59 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog got out of the backyard and attempted to attack a cat, Osage and 40th. The caller was able to direct the dog back to its yard but was concerned about the aggressive behavior. Officer contacted the owner, who was asleep and unaware the dog had gotten out. The owner planned to check the fence and make sure it’s secure.
