5:13 p.m. – Miguel A. Gutierrez-Carey, 30, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1600 block of 12th. Caller had reported that a male was jumping on his trampoline and then took off on a bike toward Safeway.
7:59 p.m. – Caller reported the use of illegal fireworks, 1100 block of Second. Officer responded, contacted homeowners and had a conversation about what is legal and illegal. Residents warned about using illegal fireworks.

3:46 p.m. – Caller reported and turned in a small envelope with money in the parking lot, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Envelope and money placed in property.
6:28 p.m. – Frederick Wilkins Cadger, 46, arrested for fourth-degree assault, 4610 Main St. Cited and released. Callers had reported a male and female physically fighting.
9:28 p.m. – Caller reported there was a fight in front of her residence, and her vehicle was dented, 1000 block of Nandina. Subjects ran when she yelled at them. Report taken.
10:23 p.m. – Robert Scott Countryman, 53, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and cited for no license in vehicle versus motorcycle crash, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Second driver was Amanda Nicole Taylor, 23. Countryman transported to Linn County Jail.

11:24 p.m. – Elester Lowell Jensen, 33, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief, VFW Hall. Cited and released.

2:25 a.m. – Thomas Earl Goble, 18, cited and released in field for third-degree criminal mischief, and Daniel Jason Danforth, 18, arrested for third-degree criminal mischief, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Caller had reported numerous chalk drawings with various drug references behind Santiam Drug.

9:19 p.m. – Brice Chad Vandenberg, 19, and Tyler Alan Morehead, 19, cited and released in field for minor in possession of alcohol, Foster Lake. Caller had reported a large group of kids drinking and smoking and that one male grabbed a goose and wrung its neck until it died. Officer responded but did not locate evidence of deceased goose. The subject that had killed the goose had already left.

6:58 a.m. – Dawn Marie Bullock, 34, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 2212 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:43 a.m. – Caller reported a male subject tried to pass what appeared to be a counterfeit $20, 4102 Main St. Officer responded. Caller did not have the bill. Information noted.
2:27 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had broken into a home he was watching, 1500 block of 12th. Report taken. Stolen property valued at about $300.

5:22 p.m. – Volkswagen Beetle stolen from the Shell station in Lebanon, 43100 block of McDowell Creek. Vehicle was burned and damaged severely. Report taken.

4:23 p.m. – Single-vehicle rollover, 41100 Upper Berline Drive. Vehicle on its top blocking Upper Berlin. No injuries. No citations. Vehicle traveling from Upper Berlin to Berlin was traveling too fast for the intersection and went sideways. The driver attempted to correct the skid before hitting the gravel shoulder, causing the vehicle to roll.

11 a.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 25700 block of Brush Creek. A log truck blew its engine and leaked oil onto the road. An approaching vehicle slid into the ditch, likely from the oil on the road. Information exchanged. No citations. Linn County Road Department washed the road.
