8:53 a.m. – A theft reported from the 39600 block of Hwy. 228. Missing items included a Husqvarna lawn mower, rusted log splitter and a Walmart brand pressure washer. The items were taken from a barn in December 2022, but the caller decided to report it after finding their paperwork. Total value of items $3,900. Investigation continuing. Report taken.
10:16 p.m. – Gabriel Hernandez Hernandez, 22, was cited for failure to perform duties of driver, reckless driving, and reckless endangering, 930 block of Nandina St.
5:19 p.m. – Deputies contacted a man who had allegedly been dumping “a large amount of yard debris” blocking Cascade Timber Consulting gates. Investigation ongoing. Suspect has been given the opportunity to clean things up. 26000 block of A Street, Crawfordsville.
7:52 p.m. – Deputy responded to a report of a stalking-order violation in the 40300 block of Holley Heights Loop. Report taken.
10:06 p.m. – Caller reported fireworks in the area of Skyline/Berlin Road.
June 20
1:16 a.m. – Deputy checked a vehicle on the shoulder in the 44500 block of Quartzville Road. Motorists said they were too tired to drive any further and pulled over to sleep. They were told to move on in the morning after finding a licensed driver.
10:21 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of three trail cameras and a cow, 41300 block of Paddock Drive. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the caller reported that someone had opened the gate on the property, found an old hunting blind and stole three trail cameras valued at $200. Some 32 cows got out of the pasture due to the open gate. They rounded up 31, but a $1,000 Wagyu calf is still missing. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
10:54 a.m. – Mental health call, 800 block of 43rd Ave. Deputies helped the caller calm down.
1:23 p.m. – Camper reported a bike stolen from the 44900 block of Quartzville Road (Sunnyside Campground). The missing bike was described as an olive green Maverik with a dark gray handle. Value: $300. Information documented.
2:06 p.m. – Antom Eric Strom, 37, was arrested for first-degree sexual abuse, 1230 block of 47th Ave.
8:51 p.m. – Chelsie Leann Baxter, 34, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for offensive littering, parking lot, Ridgeway Health, 1023 Main St.
9:20 p.m. – Joshua Scott Dawson, 44, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for fourth-degree assault X2, attempting to commit a Class C felony/coercion, and first-degree theft X3. 5:25 p.m. – Caller reported a snack shack break-in and a missing cash box, 3205 Long St. Report taken for second-degree burglary and second-degree theft. Approximate loss of value: $435.
4:17 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of a stalking-order violation. The suspect was not located, but the report was being forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for possible charges. Report taken.

9:16 p.m. – Julia Frances Adderly, 45, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for driving under the influence of intoxicants, 910 block of Nandina St.
10:05 p.m. – A marine incident was reported on Foster Lake, 2400 block of Foster Dam Road. The boat broke down on the water. Caller rowed to shore.
10:50 p.m. – Peter Robert Piazza, 39, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of animal neglect, Oregon State Police.

7:02 a.m. – Rachell Ann Gandrud, 42, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.
8:51 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen overnight, 1200 block of 23rd Ave. Approximate loss of value: $50.
9:37 a.m. – Dylan Richards, 25, was cited for dog-at-large, Sweet Home Police Department.
4:27 p.m. – Deputy responded to a report of fraud in the 40400 block of Hwy. 228. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the caller was contacted via phone by “Geek Squad” and informed that “Geek Squad” had deposited money in her account and needed to be paid back. Caller was told to buy gift cards and send the information. A Safeway employee alerted the caller that this was likely a scam, resulting in the call to the Sheriff’s Office.
4:47 p.m. – Vehicles parked illegally at the second bridge on Quartzville Road received citations.
5:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male shooting another male with a firearm, 3200 block of Main St. The victim was last seen walking westbound on Main Street. Officer determined that the firearm was an airsoft gun. The male was warned for city ordinance violation and disorderly conduct.
5:47 p.m. – Cody Allen Peterson, 36, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Oregon State Police.
8:06 p.m. – Deputy located an Albany couple trying to live on BLM land near milepost 19 on Quartzville Road. The camp was heavily littered. They were advised to clean up and move on.
8:09 p.m. – Deputy located a transient group living in a heavily littered campsite beyond milepost 25 on Quartzville Road. They were advised to clean up immediately and vacate the site.
8:22 p.m. – Deputy contacted a group that had overstayed the 14-day limit on BLM property along Quartzville Road. They were advised to pack up and move on.
9:25 p.m. – Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle eluded and was last seen eastbound on Main Street. Report taken for second-degree criminal trespass, reckless driving, criminal driving, reckless endangering X2, and eluding a police officer. 1:57 a.m. – William Cockrell, 60, of Sweet Home, was taken into custody on multiple outstanding warrants and also cited for possession of methamphetamine, 27800 block of Liberty Road. Transported to Linn County Jail. Report taken.
2:14 a.m. – William Ernest Cockrell, 60, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
3:02 a.m. – Rondel Allen Adams, 32, was cited on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for probation violation, a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for probation violation, and Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft and failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving. Arrested on a Santiam Correctional Institute warrant for unauthorized use of vehicle, north of Pleasant Valley Bridge. Also arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, reckless driving, criminal driving, reckless endangering and eluding a police officer.
7:53 a.m. – Caller reported tools and wallet stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 48200 block of Cascadia Drive, Cascadia. According to the Sheriff’s Office, an unknown person opened an unlocked car during the night and took a brown Carhartt-brand wallet worth approximately $30 and containing a Wells Fargo credit card and debit card, plus $200 in cash. Also missing was a red Milwaukee-brand impact drill with battery, valued at approximately $250; a SnapOn brand socket set, torque set and drill bits worth approximately $200; a red Milwaukee-brand angle screwdriver worth approximately $25, and other various screwdrivers. 9:02 a.m. – Heather Kelly, 52, of Sweet Home, was cited and released for outstanding warrants, 6300 block of Hwy. 20. Report taken.
10:48 a.m. – The Sheriff’s Office investigated “suspicious objects” in the 47799 block of Quartzville Road. According to LCSO, an unknown male in an older white flatbed truck appears to have set off a modified firework attached to a propane tank near milepost 19 on Quartzville. The tank did not ignite. Deputies were not able to locate the male, but found the debris of the firework. OSP Bomb Squad was consulted and determined that it could have been an explosive device, but it had already exploded and was now safe. Another device found at the scene was determined not to be a hazard. Report taken.
11:49 a.m. – Deputies investigated the theft of a Segway from the 45900 block of Hwy. 20. Described as dark gray in color with black and orange wheels, it was stolen between 11 p.m. the previous night and 9 a.m. June 24. Report taken.
1:36 p.m. – Pell Nunez, 32, of Albany, was cited for operating a personal watercraft recklessly, close to a towed person. Ben Ramsell, 22, of Corvallis, was cited for no personal flotation device on standup paddle board, Foster Lake, 43700 block of North River Drive. Report taken.
1:46 p.m. – Caller reported someone using her identity to get internet service, 1500 block of Tamarack St. Report taken for identity theft.
4:03 p.m. – Male dislocated a shoulder while tubing on Foster Lake. Marine deputies were able to get him to medics on land. 6300 block of Hwy. 20.
5:59 p.m. – Jackie Harden, 29, of Sweet Home, was taken into custody for domestic violence – strangulation, fourth-degree domestic violence – assault, and second-degree domestic violence – attempted assault, following a report of domestic disturbance in the 38400 block of Glass St., Crawfordsville. 6:18 p.m. – Campers near milepost 21 on Quartzville Road were warned by a deputy about loud music at their site. They turned it down.
6:21 p.m. – Couple illegally camped on Campbell Global property near milepost 23 on Quartzville Road were advised to clean up and move on.
6:23 p.m. – A group of transients camped on U.S. Forest Service land near milepost 27.5 on Quartzville Road were advised to clean their “heavily littered” site and move on.
9:51 p.m. – Kaylyn Rose Campbell, 35, was arrested for domestic violence fourth-degree assault, 1280 block of 44th Ave.
11:57 p.m. – A group illegally camped on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property near milepost 13.5 on Quartzville Road were advised to clean up and move to a legal camping site.

9:23 a.m. – Chelsie Leann Baxter cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, Chewy’s, 1200 12th Ave.
9:46 a.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 35, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a criminal citation, 1400 block of 24th Ave.
11:22 a.m. – Wesley Dalton Brady was cited for driving with a suspended license, South Fork.
11:49 a.m. – Linn County Parks ranger reported $81 worth of gasoline stolen from Edgewater RV Park, 1400 block of 60th Avenue. Report taken.
11:50 a.m. – Deputies investigated an abandoned vehicle at Edgewater RV Park, 1400 block of 60th Avenue. A 2016 Hyundai Sonata that had broken down in the parking lot was left for more than 72 hours. A tow notice was placed.
1:17 p.m. – Kaitlyn Carpenter, 24, of Sweet Home, was arrested on warrants, Hwy. 20/Sun Lane. Report taken.
1:30 p.m. – Jordan Porter, 29, of Corvallis; Rory Doerksen, 34, of Corvallis; and Allen Baer, 59, of Gervais, were all cited for no personal flotation device, Foster Lake, 43700 block of North River Drive. Report taken.
