5:32 a.m. – Erik K. Lafond, 36, of Sweet Home arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault and felony possession of meth. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:54 a.m. – Caller reported a large black pit bull running loose, 1600 block of 9th. Officer contacted the owner’s brother who will talk to his sister about keeping the dog contained in the backyard. The dog had broken through a front yard gate.
June 23
2:17 a.m. – Caller reported his neighbor’s dog was barking nonstop, 1200 block of Evergreen. Officer unable to locate.
8:12 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle damaged during the night, 440 Osage St., Sweet Home Elks Lodge. Report taken. Damage more than $2,500.
9:31 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of fuel, 44800 block of Quartzville, Sunnyside Park.
9:54 a.m. – Caller found a mountain bike in his backyard, 2300 block of Cedar. Placed in found property.
12:01 p.m. – Caller found needles left by subjects who had been trespassed, 2500 block of Long. Officer disposed of the needles.
2:30 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbors said someone broke into her shed, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken. Investigation continuing.
4:19 p.m. – Deputy discovered a male illegally camping on a section of privately owned riverfront property near Quartzville Road milepost 27. The male left the property.
7:37 p.m. – Caller reported several skunks blocking the roadway, 4800 block of Main. Officer responded. Skunks had moved out of the roadway and were no longer a hazard.
7:55 p.m. – Timothy Loren Ames, 30, arrested for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and probation violation on original charges of first-degree burglary and possession of heroin, 15th and Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:17 p.m. – Caller found an unconscious male behind Santiam Drug, 1530 Main St. Male transported to the hospital by medics.
10:31 p.m. – Deputy located five adults with a campfire near the second bridge on Quartzville Road. They put out the fire and left the area.
June 22
12:51 a.m. – Ryan Wesley Sechrest, 32, cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance, 2405 Main St., Circle K.
7:13 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a supply trailer behind the Fire Hall, 1099 Long St. Nothing appeared taken. Report taken. Damage valued at $1,000.
10:22 a.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 52, cited and released in field on Albany warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal trespass, Trash to Treasure.
3:49 p.m. – Caller was concerned for a toddler that had been left in a car with the windows down by only an inch while the mother stood outside smoking, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer contacted the female. She had the vehicle running. There were no concerns about the child.
7:26 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog charged him as he was walking past the museum, 700 block of Long. Officer unable to locate.
8:39 p.m. – Caller caught his neighbor urinating where everyone can see, 2400 block of Long. Officer contacted and counseled the male neighbor for his actions.
9:23 p.m. – Andrew Chance Schleicher, 26, arrested on Des-chutes County warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, 4200 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:42 p.m. – Laryssa Jean Cox, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft and Linn County warrant for three counts of failure to appear on original charge of possession of heroin and on five criminal citations; and Weston Donovan Thompson, 28, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, 1700 block of 12th. Cox cited and released.
June 21
12:20 a.m. – Officer found a bicycle, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Placed in found property.
1:41 a.m. – James Ronald Rodman, 59, cited on Sweet Home warrant for fourth-degree assault, Linn County Jail.
7:25 a.m. – Caller found a basket full of knives, feces and a bag with unknown contents on the floor, 5300 Poplar St., Foster Post Office. Officer responded. Knives seized as found property. The bag contained ice.
9:31 a.m. – Police assisted firefighters with a fire, 1190 27th Ave. Information documented.
10:12 a.m. – Caller found a debit card in the ATM, 1199 10th Ave., Key Bank. Card placed in found property. Bank to attempt to contact the owner of the card.
11:47 a.m. – Caller reported a battery jump box and air compressor stolen from a boat, 44900 block of Quartzville, Sunnyside Park. Report taken. Loss valued at $75.
5:46 p.m. – Caller found a keychain pouch with $4 inside, 18th and Tamarack. Placed in found property.
6:53 p.m. – Caller reported that she believed her daughter was followed to work and a subject asked her about doing a photo shoot, 2400 block of Main. Information noted.
6:58 p.m. – Caller found a small baggie that appeared to contain drugs on the street, 47th and Main. Officer unable to locate.
8:18 p.m. – Bradley Becker arrested for first-degree burglary and second-degree criminal trespass, 45900 block of Highway 20. Callers had reported the theft of items from a cabin at River Bend park and trespassing at Camp Attitude.
8:53 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a backpack and cell phone from an unsecured vehicle, 2400 block of Foster Dam Road. Report taken.
9:02 p.m. – Todd Buddy James Waterman, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Lebanon.
10:53 p.m. – Caller reported a female with all of her belongings in the bushes, 1900 block of 20th. Officer responded. A male was at the location sleeping, and the caller was OK with that.
June 20
12:19 a.m. – Caller caught someone attempting to break into his vehicle, 3500 block of Flannigan. The subject fled on a bicycle. Information noted.
1:45 a.m. – Tyson Derek Boren, 35, arrested on Linn County warrants for possession of meth, failure to appear on a criminal citation and probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and possession of heroin and on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Main and 23rd. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:53 a.m. – Travis Garry Hummer, 33, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended along with Lebanon and Albany warrants, 30500 block of Merry Lane. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:22 a.m. – Caller reported items taken from a yard, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $225.
7:22 a.m. – Caller reported two wallets taken from a vehicle during the night, 44900 block of Quartzville, Sunnyside Park. Report taken.
12:01 p.m. – Caller reported two loose dogs, 5th Avenue near Oak Heights. Owner contained the dogs.
12:12 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole beer, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.
12:26 p.m. – Caller reported that a male gave him fake money in the sale of a phone and then grabbed the phone and ran from the location, 250 Main St., OK Feed. Report taken for theft and forgery.
2:04 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs running in the roadway, 3225 Main St., new City Hall. Officer unable to locate.
2:08 p.m. – Caller reported a forgery attempted at Wells Fargo Bank in the amount of $1,000, 27800 block of Riggs Hill. Report taken.
2:36 p.m. – Caller found a bicycle, 5480 Main St., Foster Lake Mall. Placed in found property.
3:16 p.m. – A 17-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for first-degree forgery and second-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
3:52 p.m. – Caller reported her identity was being used for a Pacific Power bill in Eagle Crest, 300 block of W. Pine. Information noted.
4:45 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle from a porch and tools from a motor home a few days earlier by a male who was living in a vehicle, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Officer contacted the caller and was able to recover one missing item. The caller did not wish to pursue charges but wanted the male trespassed.
June 19
8:30 a.m. – Caller reported a package was delivered by UPS and that he believed it had been stolen, 1200 block of 40th. Report taken.
8:37 a.m. – Caller reported two small dogs running loose, 1100 block of Elm.
1:30 p.m. – Caller reported that during the night, someone pried open a gate to her backyard, 1000 block of 1st. The caller did not find anything missing, but this was not the first incident in the previous few weeks. Caller wanted the information noted for now.
2:25 p.m. – Caller reported a dog attacked the caller’s dog, 1100 block of Long. Caller wanted the owner warned for her dog’s behavior. Information noted. Officer unable to contact owner.
3:19 p.m. – Caller reported a bag of clothing and shoes lying in a dry creek bed, 1800 block of Long. Placed in found property.
4:24 p.m. – Caller reported credit cards, debit cards, a driver’s license, Social Security card, cash and medication stolen from the caller’s pickup, 45000 block of Quartzville. Loss valued at less than $100. The caller learned his debit card had been used several times before he discovered it had been stolen.
7 p.m. – Caller reported finding a syringe, 1200 block of 15th. Officer disposed of the syringe.
8:12 p.m. – Caller reported she had a note on her car with information about a hit-and-run involving her vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted the caller. Information will be exchanged later.
8:34 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs at large, 800 block of 3rd. Officer unable to locate.

4:31 a.m. – Joshua Martin Hughes, 17, cited for no license and no insurance, 3200 block of Main.
5:03 a.m. – Ariel Shanea Kaping, 25, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Transported to Linn County Jail.
7:54 a.m. – Caller reported two friendly stray dogs, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Dogs gone upon arrival. Last seen headed north on 14th.
10:11 a.m. – Jordyn Hanna, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lane County. Cited and released.
10:15 a.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping in an alley with belongings scattered, 1200 block of Main. Female trespassed from Downtown Lounge property.
10:17 a.m. – Michael Deshawn Ferebee, 39, arrested for menacing (domestic violence), 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:56 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle collision, 900 block of Main. No injuries. No citations. Report taken.
12:04 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s cell phone and pocket knife were stolen the previous day at Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Report taken.
12:15 p.m. – Shawn Romay Wixon, 59, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 block of Mountain Fir. Cited and released.
4:08 p.m. – Anna Rochelle House, 35, arrested on Corvallis warrant for failure to appear on original charges of resisting arrest, attempted assault on a public safety officer, interfering with a peace officer and third-degree theft, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. James Javon Cleveland, 41, arrested on Corvallis warrant for failure to appear on original charge of interfering with a peace officer, Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of attempted fourth-degree assault, menacing and harassment and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of criminal trespass and a criminal citation. House cited and released. Cleveland transported to Linn County Jail.
4:39 p.m. – Jacob Ellingsen, 45, arrested on three outstanding warrants and new charges of initiating a false report and first-degree disorderly conduct, 45000 block of Quartzville. Transported to Linn County Jail.
5:01 p.m. – Caller reported backing over his wife, 1600 block of Cedar. A female had been struck at low speed when the male did not see her as he was backing out of the garage. Female transported to the hospital by medics.
5:42 p.m. – Caller went to a location when she believed a male was not working, but when he saw her, he was yelling at the caller while she was in the store, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded to a possible restraining order violation. Report taken. Information to be forwarded to the district attorney for review.
6:37 p.m. – Caller reported his bicycle stolen a couple of days earlier, 4610 Main St., Fir View Villa manufactured home park. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.
7:51 p.m. – Caller reported two female transients camped out behind the library, 1101 13th Ave. Officer contacted three females and advised them they cannot camp there. They agreed to gather their belongings and move to a different location.
8:43 p.m. – Caller found a blind dog wandering in the road, 10th and Cedar. Officer responded and located the dog’s chip. Owner advised. Owner retrieved dog. Unknown how dog got out.
8:54 p.m. – Caller reported prescription medication stolen, 1300 block of Tamarack. Report taken.
June 17
8 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into several RVs during the night, 4691 Main St., Sweet Home RV Center. Information noted. Officer to contact RV owners to see if they wish to pursue charges.
8:09 a.m. – Anna Rochelle House, 35, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Spruce and 12th.
8:21 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose in the parking lot had been captured and was being held by a male bystander, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer unable to locate dog or male.
11:34 a.m. – Caller found a bicycle in briars by her driveway, 1200 block of 44th. Placed in found property.
2:46 p.m. – Caller reported hearing a female screaming, 47th and railroad tracks. Officer responded. Report taken for harassment and domestic violence.
3:04 p.m. – Caller reported fishing items stolen from his locked pickup while parked at Thistle Creek Boat Ramp, 45000 block of Quartzville. Loss valued at $800.
3:57 p.m. – Caller reported that during the night, someone dragged a very heavy 10-bolt Chevrolet rear end a long way to the pavement. Caller requested extra patrol. Officer advised.
4:06 p.m. – Joey Dwayne Persinger, 26, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft; and Paul Richard Landers, 63, cited and released in field for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended.
