4:50 p.m. – David Russell Coats, 36, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply on original charges of misdemeanor driving while suspended and third-degree theft. Cited and released.
7 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was smoking marijuana on his back porch, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer contacted the neighbor, advised him of the complaint and counseled him on the law.

3:30 a.m. – Caller reported a male walking east on Main Street nearly fell in front of his log truck, 2300 block of Main. Officer located an intoxicated male and gave him a courtesy transport to his residence.
7:25 a.m. – Caller found a syringe on the side of the road, 8th and Oak Terrace. Officer checked the area thoroughly but was unable to locate any syringes.
8:12 a.m. – Kimberly Shae Massey, 40, arrested for driving under the influence, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person, 18th and Main. Cited and released.
9:49 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole several items from her front porch, 1800 block of Tamarack St. Report taken. Loss valued at $12.

9:27 a.m. – Caller reported his neighbor’s dog barks constantly, 1700 block of Dogwood. Officer responded. No answer at owner’s residence. Officer left a card for contact and then spoke to a neighbor who said the owner was on vacation and a family member was supposed to be caring for the dog.
9:41 a.m. – Caller reported that a cat was hit by a car, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. The cat was badly injured. The owner requested that the officer properly dispatch and dispose of the cat.

While on patrol, deputy came across a crash at milepost 9 on the South Bank Road. One vehicle entered a blind gravel corner at 45 mph striking another vehicle heading the other direction.

8:07 p.m. – Caller reported a pit bull running loose and chasing people who walk by, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer responded. The dog was on its own property and barking in defense of property as people were standing around or walking by. The owner was not home. Officer unable to get close to the dog.

10:08 a.m. – Caller reported an intentional overdose, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
10:14 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 900 block of 23rd. Referred to code enforcement.
11:49 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass and weeds, 2800 block of Juniper. Referred to code enforcement.
12:05 p.m. – Donna Ashley Claxton-Lyons, 25, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 13th and Kalmia. Cited and released. Multiple callers had reported a female physically attacking a male at the bus stop.
12:29 p.m. – Caller found a dog wandering through the parking lot, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Dog placed in kennel.
1:41 p.m. – Multiple callers at the Senior Center reported someone yelling behind the building, 880 18th Ave. Officer responded and located a group of juveniles who said they were filming a movie for a school project.
1:51 p.m. – Officer conducted a death investigation, 700 block of Mountain View.
2:06 p.m. – Allen Joseph Hall, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on two original counts of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Albany. Cited and released.
3:07 p.m. – Caller reported a male in a black pickup taking photos of her residence and her neighbors’ residence, 1200 block of 47th. When the caller confronted the male, he said he was supposed to be taking photos. The caller’s husband called the bank, which said no one was supposed to be taking photos. Officer responded. Information noted. Officer would watch for the vehicle.
6:14 p.m. – Caller reported a male passed out on vacant property, Long and Mountain View. The male would not wake up. Officer responded. The male was awake and sitting up. The male was intoxicated and went home. Officer warned him for trespassing.
9:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a male who had been trespassed was seen leaving, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.
10:28 p..m. – Tracy Leanna Mullins, 44, cited for driving while suspended and an Albany warrant for contempt of court, Main and 22nd.
11:19 p.m. – Matthew Alan Smith, 52, arrested on Linn County warrants for two counts of probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence and a new charge of possession of meth, Main and 60th. Transported to Linn County Jail.
May 22
7:33 a..m. – Caller reported two dogs chasing the caller’s children as they try to ride their bikes to school, Long and 43rd. Officer warned the owner of the dog for dog at large.
7:46 a.m. – Caller reported an ongoing problem with a neighbor’s dogs getting out and entering his yard, threatening his small dogs and chickens, 4200 block of Long. The dogs were described as the same dogs chasing children riding bicycles.
8:35 a.m. – Caller reported loose chickens and garbage, 4600 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.
9:19 a.m. – Caller reported a deer had been hit in the middle of the highway and was still alive, 4800 block of Main. Officer dispatched the deer and notified Oregon Department of Transportation.
10:42 a.m. – Peter Robert Piazza, 34, cited and released for second-degree animal neglect, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Piazza also issued a 30-day exclusion from city parks. He was given until 6 p.m. to remove his vehicle from the park. Caller had reported a car with a litter of apparently abandoned kittens.
11:16 a.m. – Donna Ashley Claxton, 25, arrested for harassment and third-degree criminal mischief, 600 block of Main. Cited and released. Caller had reported a female throwing rocks at cars.
12:21 p.m. – James Jonathan Scott Georgelis, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree theft, three counts of identity theft and three counts of second-degree theft, 4432 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
12:24 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbor’s dog just charged her, 5500 block of Main. Officer contacted both parties. Visitor left a gate open. Officer warned the owner.
2:29 p.m. – Caller found a duffel bag in the intersection of Main and Clark Mill. Placed in found property.
3:49 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in the road, 8th near Alder. Officer disposed of syringe.
5:07 p.m. – Caller had just gotten home from work and someone had set a bucket with an active beehive in it in his front yard, 1400 block of 47th. Officer responded and located a box of bees. Officer was able to get close enough to see a note that the bees would be picked up later in the evening. The officer asked the caller to call back if the bees weren’t picked up.
7:03 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a hover board from the garage, 300 block of 7th. Report taken. Loss valued at $178.
7:19 p.m. – Caller reported a subject sleeping by the fence in the neighbor’s yard, 1000 block of 14th. Officer contacted the male and gave him a courtesy ride to the scale shack because he was trying to reach Bend.
8:13 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog got out and attacked the caller’s dog while it was on his porch, 400 block of 9th. Officer attempted to contact the owner, who was not home. An officer was to follow up on the next shift.
9:29 p.m. – Caller reported a theft caught on video, 1937 Main St., Dollar General. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.
