5:47 a.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft and second-degree disorderly conduct and Linn County warrant for probation violation and failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and a criminal citation, 47th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Nov. 24

7:43 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke a window, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

8:34 a.m. – Caller reported her neighbor’s dog had been home alone for four days, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Residence quiet upon arrival. No answer at the door. Caller advised to call back in a couple of days if the issue persists and to inform management.

10:46 a.m. – Caller reported vandalism, 27200 block of High Deck. Report taken.

12:04 p.m. – Caller reported an aggressive pit bull was running loose, 18th and Tamarack. Officer unable to locate.

3:01 p.m. – Caller reported that someone took the bottom of a book cart, 1101 13th Ave., Sweet Home Public Library. Report taken.

10:49 p.m. – Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 42, cited for driving while suspended, 1900 block of Main.

Nov. 23

11:19 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog had been running loose, 1100 block of 55th. Owner warned.

11:27 a.m. – Non-injury single-vehicle crash reported, 25700 block of Brush Creek.

12:09 p.m. – Julianne Nicole Phillips, 25, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 1800 block of Main. Cited and released.

1:10 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1306 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken. Loss valued at 50 cents.

1:25 p.m. – Brandon Ryan Freeman, 24, arrested for third-degree theft, 9th and railroad tracks.

4:13 p.m. – Todd Darin Strickland, 49, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

Nov. 22

4:12 a.m. – Matthew James Wood, 27, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Main Street Market.

8:26 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle had been left for several days, 42nd and Main. Seized as found property.

1:28 p.m. – Caller reported a branch fell from a tree across her windshield, 40100 block of Upper Calapooia. She was not injured and was able to drive her vehicle home.

2 p.m. – Officer located a bicycle, Northside Park. Placed in found property.

Nov. 21

4:45 a.m. – Devin Samuel Bruce, 24, cited for excessive noise and speed racing, 49th and Airport.

6:27 a.m. – Donald Charles Ackeret, 30, arrested for restraining order violation, 1166 18th Ave. Caller had reported a male sleeping in his garage.

8:11 a.m. – Anita Renea Lewis, 38, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

10:07 a.m. – Caller saw a flash of light and heard an explosion, 1100 block of 46th. Officer responded and located a charred transformer in front of the listed address. Nearby houses had no power. Pacific Power notified.

10:46 a.m. – Caller reported that her son cut the wires to her thermostat, 1100 block of 18th. Information noted.

12:51 p.m. – Raymon Wayne Littell, 42, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of negotiating a bad check, Molalla.

4:41 p.m. – Gregory Dale Tagen, 46, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1300 block of Quince. Held for detox and then released.

7:56 p.m. – Kenneth Daniel Helfrich, 37, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 6099 Main St., Roadhouse. Held for detox and released.

Nov. 20

6:02 a.m. – Ramon Gabriel DeAvila, 36, cited for no license, 1400 block of Main.

6:06 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog had been barking nonstop for the previous three hours, 600 block of 4th. Officer responded. Dog was barking. No answer at the door. Officer left a business card for contact.

7:17 a.m. – Caller found an insulin kit in the parking lot, 3205 Long St., Hawthorne Elementary. Property seized.

7:37 – Caller reported two vehicles had been parked on the street for approximately six days, 1700 block of 9th. Vehicles tagged for removal.

8:45 a.m. – Ildefonso Quiroz Barrera, 52, arrested for telephonic harassment and unlawful disclosure of an image, 4833 Main St.

9:53 a.m. – Cory Harold Lawrence, 51, cited for failure to carry current proof of registration and insurance, and Michelle Kimberly Ray, 28, arrested on Linn County warrants for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 18th and Main.

11:17 a.m. – Caller reported letting someone test drive his vehicle and the subject never returned it, 900 block of Long. Report taken.

12:45 p.m. – Caller reported that someone took 3 gallons of fuel from his vehicle, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $9.

2:53 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole surveillance cameras, 4610 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $140.

3:07 p.m. – Caller found a student with a prescription bottle containing an unknown white substance, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer seized the item for testing.

3:19 p.m. – Shanelle Rae Hathaway, 42, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrants for failure to appear and contempt of court. Cited and released. Caller had reported a female digging through a trash can and throwing trash everywhere.

5:08 p.m. – Earl Ryan Dodge, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree escape, 18th and railroad tracks. Cited and released.

5:50 p.m. – Lisa Marie Jones, 56, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of failure to appear, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:35 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs locked in two different vehicles for an hour, 2400 block of Long. Dogs were barking nonstop. Officer responded. Dogs were not in distress.

9 a.m. – Derrick James Freeman, 22, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

11:14 p.m. – Caller reported that she got home from the hospital and someone had broken through her front door, 2200 block of Larch. Report taken.

Nov. 19

9:53 a.m. – Delbert Almanzo Kurtz, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on second-degree criminal mischief, Lebanon. Cited and released.

10:49 a.m. – Louis Sandoval Vasquez, 72, cited and released in field for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

12:04 p.m. – Jason Riley Beasley, 44, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court.

12:28 p.m. – Donald Charles Ackeret, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1166 18th Ave. Caller had reported a male causing damage to the residence. Information noted and forwarded to city attorney for review.

1:07 p.m. – Oregon State Police reported a firearm denial at 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken.

1:47 p.m. – Caller reported her mother was abusing a 14-year-old female, 27000 block of High Deck. Report taken.

2:45 p.m.- Caller reported that three people had set up camp at the back of his property, 2400 block of Long. Officer contacted the subjects and trespassed them from the location. They were given until that night to move all their belongings.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male is at 1890 Main St., Umpqua Bank, licking newspapers. Officer responded, contacted and trespassed the subject.

3:53 p.m. – Caller reported three disabled vehicles parked on the street long term, 23rd and Ironwood. One posted for removal. The owner of the other two said he would remove them shortly.

4:11 p.m. – Caller reported that her ex was sending explicit photos of her to her coworkers, 500 block of 6th. Report taken for telephonic harassment and unlawful disclosure of an image.

5:54 p.m. – Caller found a backpack containing drug paraphernalia, 18th and Yucca. Property seized.

10:54 p.m. – Donald Charles Ackeret, 30, arrested for restraining order violation, 1166 18th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male violating his restraining order.

11:53 p.m. – Caller reported that she was walking home when an eastbound truck on Main Street turned back toward town and someone threw a glass bottle at her, injuring her leg, 5500 block of Poplar. Information noted. The female had a small abrasion and bruise on her left thigh. Officer unable to locate broken glass or a bottle in the area described.
