April 9

6:23 a.m. – Caller reported an overdose, 1101 13th Ave., Sweet Home Public Library. Male transported by medics to the hospital. Male appeared to be going through withdrawal.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported a small dog barking and snapping at people as they walk by, 3600 block of Green River. Officer responded. The dog ran behind the owner’s residence. The owner was able to corral the dog and planned to try to keep it there.

April 8

12:25 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dogs had been barking nonstop for several hours, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer contacted the owner, who planned to take care of the issue.

8:26 a.m. – Caller reported a camera missing and bloody paper towels left behind, 1333 Main St., Sweet Home Cafe. Report taken. Loss valued at $35. Officer disposed of paper towels.

9:36 a.m. – Caller reported a wire down, 1500 block of Tamarack.

11:08 a.m. – Caller reported a cable line hanging from power lines, 1100 block of Elm.

2:37 p.m. – David Arroyo-Sandoval, 36, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and second-degree theft, 4600 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:56 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her shop, 1400 block of Poplar. Report taken.

3:27 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at the caller’s residence, 1100 block of 28th. Dog placed in kennel.

4:06 p.m. – Ryan John Avery, 40, arrested on Marion County warrant for parole violation, and Daniel Eugene McCarty, 57, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of driving under the influence and felony driving while suspended, Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and probation, failure to appear, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Benton County warrant for probation violation on two original charges of possession of meth and felony absconding, 1440 54th Ave., Foster Lake Market. Both transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported two males attempting to steal his pop cans.

5:20 p.m. – Caller turned in two boxes of human ashes that had been left behind at a residence, 800 block of 14th. Placed in found property.

April 7

5:19 a.m. – Caller reported that his light bar was stolen from his truck, 1700 block of Long. Report taken.

6:28 a.m. – Caller reported trees and utility lines blocking the road, Yucca Street.

6:34 a.m. – Caller requested an officer help her with an awning on her house, 400 block of Maple. She was afraid it would blow her trailer over. Officer responded. No risk of trailer falling over.

6:34 a.m. – Callers reported a tree down on a power line, Fourth and Oak Terrace.

6:44 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a power saw from his vehicle, 1200 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,100.

6:44 a.m. – Caller reported trees and power lines blocking the road, Fern Lane and Highway 228. Pacific Power and Oregon Department of Transportation notified. One lane opened after 15 to 20 minutes.

6:51 a.m. – Caller reported a tree fell on her house, 1800 block of Vine.

7:22 a.m. – Caller reported a power pole was about to fall and was pulling lines away from a house, 400 block of Oak Terrace. The pole was cracked and had shifted about 6 inches. Power pole replaced on Sunday, April 9.

7:52 a.m. – Caller reported a power line down, 1400 block of Evergreen.

8:01 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 900 block of 23rd. The owner called and reported catching the dog. The dog escaped when the wind blew open a gate.

8:07 a.m. – Officer located a tree that had hit a house and pulled up gas lines, Meadowlark and Strawberry.

9:01 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to steal an abandoned vehicle, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.

9:11 a.m. – Caller reported branches across power lines, 1800 block of Kalmia.

10:36 a.m. – Caller found a wallet, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Placed in found property.

12:27 p.m. – Caller reported catching three juveniles stealing, 4600 block of Main. Juveniles counseled.

2:23 p.m. – Caller reported a tree had fallen on a business, 1818 Long St., Dr. Schirmer’s office.

2:59 p.m. – Caller reported a building was losing its tin roof, 1300 block of 13th.

4:27 p.m. – Aaron David Ray Collins, 19, cited for no license, Mountain View and Ames Creek.

4:37 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs running into the caller’s house after her cats, 900 block of 13th. Dogs belonged across the street and were returned before officer arrival.

9:49 p.m. – Keith Andrew Blondin, 30, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Key Bank.

April 6

6:16 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog barks every morning from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m., 2200 block of Ironwood. Officer unable to locate a barking dog.

8:52 a.m. – Austin Alton Wayne Jones, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, Linn County. Cited and released.

9:49 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor keeps his dogs locked in a kennel all day and hits them in the face when they jump, 1200 block of 41st. Officer left a business card requesting the owner contact the officer. Investigation continuing.

12:16 p.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 20, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for possession of meth, 1490 42nd Ave.

1:42 pm. – Caller reported that someone may have tried to cut a lock on a storage unit, 4691 Main St., Sweet Home RV Center. Report taken for suspicious circumstances, and extra patrol requested for the area during the night.

3:01 p.m. – Andrea Michelle Gali, 36, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, City Hall parking lot. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

3:13 p.m. – Caller reported that two large dogs tried to attack her animals and her, 900 block of 12th. Officer contacted the owners of the dogs, which broke the fence and had returned home. Officer counseled owners for keeping dogs as a public nuisance.

3:44 p.m. – Caller found an abandoned bicycle, 900 block of Long. Placed in found property.

3:47 p.m. – Caller reported that his tires were slashed, 1100 block of 18th. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

5:53 pm. – Paul Michael Peterson, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of hit and run, Gilliam County. Cited and released.

6:41 p.m. – Caller reported that his neighbor lets his dog run loose, 3300 block of Long. Officer contacted the caller and advised of options. The caller did not want law enforcement assistance at the time.

April 5

8:37 a.m. – Leslie Michelle Gerard, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon. Cited and released.

9:15 a.m. – Rick Grant McRey-nolds, 51, cited and released in field on a Sweet Home warrant for harassment, 200 block of West Holley.

2:49 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor has several pigeons that constantly get out, 4200 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

3:26 pm. – A 14-year-old juvenile referred to the Juvenile Department for runaway, 18th and Tamarack.

4:51 p.m. – Caller reported a large dog running loose on the street, 4900 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog tried to bite him, 1100 block of Poplar. Officer warned the owner for dog at large.

6:17 p.m. – Caller reported a drone flying over her house, 1300 block of Second. Officer planned to watch for it.

6:52 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s dogs barking nonstop, 300 block of Ironwood. Officer drove the area and was unable to locate barking dogs.

9:31 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle stolen, 1100 block of Long. Report taken.

April 4

11:59 a.m. – Laryssa Jean Cox, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

12:08 p.m. – Loris David Whitton, 61, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Tell and Sell. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:15 pm. – Caller found a bicycle left on a pump house, 1100 block of 48th. Bike placed in found property.

2:19 p.m. – Caller reported garbage and debris in a front yard, 900 block of 14th. Referred to code enforcement.

2:21 p.m. – Caller reported briars coming over a fence, 1400 block of 14th. Referred to code enforcement.

3:11 p.m. – Yvonne Darlene Casebier, 59, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 807 Seventh Ave. Caller had reported dogs coming through a fence and killing one of the caller’s puppies. Officer killed an aggressive dog.

3:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole Neosporin and gauze, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.

4:15 p.m. – Caller reported a package stolen, 1237 Nandina St. Report taken. Loss valued at $45.

8:48 p.m. – Caller found a dog on Highway 228. Dog placed in kennel.

9:25 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Browand, 23, arrested for third-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of third-degree theft and probation violation and state warrant for parole violation, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Caller had reported a male stealing a beer and eating food without paying.

10:58 p.m. – Kenneth Lee Halverson, 21, arrested for third-degree theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Caller had reported a male stealing a candy bar worth $1.49.

April 3

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor is playing a high-pitched noise to irritate her dogs when they are outside, 1200 block of 46th. Information noted. No crime.

10:45 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor refuses to lock up a dog, and it’s running loose, 1600 block of Dogwood. Officer responded. Caller not home, and no dogs were running loose. Officer planned to contact the caller later.

11:16 a.m. – Caller found a bicycle and turned it in to police, 35th and Kalmia. Bike placed in found property.

11:29 a.m. – Caller reported that a dog showed up at her house, 3500 block of Juniper. Dog placed in kennel, and Animal Control notified.

12:47 p.m. – Joshua Eino Pruitt, 22, arrested for attempting to elude, vehicle; attempting to elude, foot; reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person; second-degree criminal mischief; second-degree criminal trespass; state warrant for parole violation; Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, and cited for driving while suspended and illegal alteration or display of a license plate, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Vehicle impounded. Cited and released.

2:21 p.m. – Caller reported that someone bought items through Amazon Prime with her money and stole $300 from her residence, 1237 Nandina St. Report taken.

2:28 p.m. – Thomas Junior Hernandez, 53, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market.

2:33 p.m. – Caller reported vehicles parked in a yard causing a hazard to drivers passing by, 1100 block of Ironwood. Referred to code enforcement.

3:20 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole money from the bank, 3103 Main St., Margarita Village. Information noted.

3:35 p.m. – Caller found items in a ditch, 5400 block of Poplar. Placed in found property.

5:46 p.m. – Caller reported that he witnessed a male with a neighbor’s belongings, 5300 block of Poplar. Report taken. Items valued at $30 and returned to owner.

6:37 p.m. – Caller reported that a window in a residence had been broken out, 1000 block of 14th. Nothing was taken, but footprints were visible inside the residence. Report taken. Damage valued at $500.

6:45 p.m. – Caller reported that squatters have been staying in a residence and drugs and possible stolen items were inside, 900 block of Nandina. Drug paraphernalia seized.

10:05 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs at large, Pleasant Valley. Dogs placed in kennel.

10:58 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her residence and stole a TV, 1600 block of 13th. Report taken.

11:17 p.m. – Heather Nicole Matney, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

11:20 p.m. – A late entry from April 1, Jesse Allan Cox, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County. Cited and released.

April 2

2:01 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke in and took some of her belongings, 1300 block of Sunset. No sign of forced entry. Information noted.

6:41 p.m. – Julia Rose Trietsch, 29, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

7:57 p.m. – Matthew Charles Nill, 33, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Multnomah County Jail.

9:24 p.m. – Denver Eugene Larson, 65, cited and released on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 48th and Long.
