April 10

1:56 a.m. – Samantha Leann Stotz, 24, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 620 Mountain View Road.

11:18 a.m. – Caller reported that the vehicle he reported stolen last month was parked in the Safeway parking lot. Officer responded. Vehicle released to owner.

April 9

1:03 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for the past 10 minutes, 2400 block of Long. Officer contacted the owner of the dog, who said he would bring the dog inside to keep it quiet.

2:28 p.m. – Scott Kevin Heinz, 28, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1610 Elm St.

4:40 p.m. – Caller reported a window in his vehicle broken during the night, 3200 block of Long. Report taken.

7 p.m. – Caller reported that females said they worked for Kirby, but they had nothing to prove it and were taking pictures of a neighbor’s house, Sixth and Juniper. Officer contacted subjects, who were advised they needed a peddler’s license. They said they would stop and get one.

7:12 p.m. – Caller reported a dog was tied to a wheelbarrow and barking since morning, 300 block of Seventh. Officer responded. No one home. Officer left a business card.

April 8

6:24 a.m. – Matthew Charles Nill, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem. Cited and released.

7:39 a.m. – Jesse Allan Cox, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

10:15 a.m. – Caller reported garbage and debris, 4600 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

10:25 a.m. – Craig Bruce Adams, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 15th and Main. Cited and released.

1:02 p.m. – Ronald Kolbee Credille, 20, cited for third-degree escape, 15th and Long. Cited and released.

1:27 p.m. – Sixteen-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for second-degree criminal trespass, 1043 Pleasant Valley Road.

1:45 p.m. – Robert Aaron Davis, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft.

5:58 p.m. – Caller reported that someone used his identity to file tax returns, 1200 block of 41st. Report taken.

8:47 p.m. – Daniel Allen Ferguson, 22, arrested on Lebanon warrant for public order crime, allowing a dog to run at large, 1800 block of Main. Cited and released.

9:33 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking on and off for a few hours, 1200 block of Linden. Officer contacted owner, who had just returned home to quiet the dog.

April 7

1 p.m. – Caller reported finding mail in a dumpster, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Report taken.

1:02 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s dogs get out all the time and are in his driveway, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Caller said the dogs are aggressive. Officer contacted caller. The dogs were secured at their own residence upon officer arrival. No one answered the door at the dogs’ home.

5:51 p.m. – Samantha Raeann Braley, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

7:57 p.m. – Brandon James Harelson, 21, cited for failure to obey traffic control device in two-vehicle crash, 12th and Main. Second driver was Vicky Faye Gibson, 56.

8:42 p.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and Nandina.

11:29 p.m. – Dylan Uriah Elder, 20; Kalie Marie Spradlin, 18; and Allen Ray Madero 18, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, 4647 Kalmia St.

April 6

1:22 a.m. – Caller said someone was doing cookies in his daughter’s field, 41400 block of Upper Berlin. His daughter could not see what kind of vehicle. Report taken.

2:26 a.m. – Caller reported that a male stole a case of Coors Light, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $15.89.

9:26 a.m. – Police officer received an email with screen shots of Facebook messages from students threatening each other, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. School resource officer contacted and counseled involved students.

10:10 a.m. – Caller reported an RV with people living in it in a backyard, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Referred to code enforcement.

10:17 a.m. – Caller reported improper posting of a sign, 12th and Nandina. Signs removed.

10:18 a.m. – Caller reported a person living in a tent trailer in a driveway, 800 block of Ninth.

10:55 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor is allowing cats to go into the caller’s yard and sit on her car, 1700 block of Elm. Referred to code enforcement.

2:25 p.m. – Code enforcement officer identified a rooster and left a business card on the owner’s door, 100 block of Eighth.

3:12 p.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle collision in an alley near 13th and Main. Information exchanged with business owner.

3:13 p.m. – Caller reported a female picked up medication for another female, but the pills had been swapped out, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken for theft.

8:04 p.m. – Caller reported his son was hit by a vehicle, 3200 block of Main. Declined medics. Information noted.

8:13 p.m. – Caller reported a dog walked into her house, 1000 block of 13th. Officer located dog and put it in the kennel at the Police Department.

8:21 p.m. – Nathan Michael Clark, 20, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 2200 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:50 p.m. – Brandell Renee Braatz, 48, arrested for driving under the influence, 1094 43rd Ave. Cited and released. Caller had reported an intoxicated female knocking on her door demanding an item left in her vehicle.

April 5

10:28 a.m. – Ronald Kolbee Credille, 20, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, Sweet home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to register as a sex offender and cited for third-degree escape, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:10 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 1300 block of Long. Report taken. Damage estimated at $500.

1:12 p.m. – Jeff Scott Williamson, 47, cited for failure to license a dog, 3137 Main St. Caller had reported a pit bull running at large.

1:52 p.m. – Officer put a loose dog in the dog kennel, Long and 18th.

2:07 p.m. – Caller said a female went into caller’s home and asked for drugs then smashed caller’s TV, 40800 block of Highway 228. She lives on the property in a separate trailer.

5:09 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole lumber from her backyard, 1500 block of Ninth. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,200.

7:50 p.m. – Officer attempted to stop a vehicle, Green River and Clark Mill. Vehicle eluded police officer. Officer lost sight, and pursuit was terminated.

10:31 p.m. – James David Hackworth, 19, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief and cited for minor in possession of alcohol, 1355 Sunset Lane. Cited, held for detox and released. Caller had reported hearing yelling, screaming, a crash and a vehicle speeding off. Witness reported it was a male subject throwing things on the porch and trying to get into the house.

April 4

12:56 p.m. – Jamie Elizabeth Geiger, 31, cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, Trailer Villa.

1:24 p.m. – Caller said he caught a man attempting to steal tools from him, 39600 block of Highway 228. The caller yelled at the man, so the suspect dropped the items and took off.

1:28 p.m. – Daniel Kenneth Oberg, 27, arrested for harassment, 900 Terrace Lane. Cited and released.

1:30 p.m. – Gerlinde Spring Lynch, 37, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Caller had reported a female in the counseling office yelling and screaming.

2:48 p.m. – Caller reported that two males tried to get her into their vehicle, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Information noted.

3:40 p.m. – Caller reported a rooster living at the RV park, 6200 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

5:51 p.m. – Caller reported garbage piles, 1200 block of Nandina. Referred to code enforcement.

6:35 p.m. – Sheryl Anne Feigum, 47, arrested for two counts of harassment, driving under the influence and reckless driving and cited for refusing a breath test, 1038 Nandina St. Caller had reported a female kicking down a door and punching another female in the face.

7:50 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was sleeping in a sleeping bag next to the book drop, 1101 13th ave. Officer contacted subjects and advised them to move along.

April 3

3:31 p.m. – Taya Rayana Cross, 20, cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian when entering a roadway in motor vehicle collision, 13th and Long. No injuries.

6:21 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle stolen, 1300 block of 22nd. Report taken.

7:41 p.m. – Police officer took a report for criminal mischief and theft, 1300 block of Clark Mill.

8:25 p.m. – Juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of tobacco and possession of a controlled substance, schedule II, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

8:54 p.m. – Caller reported that three juveniles possibly stole items, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer unable to locate anyone matching descriptions.

April 2

9:08 p.m. – Caller heard five gunshots in rapid succession, 31300 block of Berlin Ridge. There were four or five more shots while the caller was on the phone with dispatch.

March 31

8:36 a.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 2000 block of Pleasant Valley. Several hand tools, valued at about $200, were taken from his shop. Report taken.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported a pickup truck stolen.

1:11 p.m. – Caller reported nearly hitting a black Labrador that was sitting in the middle of the road, 28200 block of Liberty. Caller stayed with the dog at the location. A deputy located the dog owner and warned the owner for dog at large.

March 30

1:34 p.m. – Caller noticed a bullet hole in the wall of their house, 42300 block of Bennett. It appeared to come from the river area, so it was unclear if it was from target shooters or something else. There were no suspects at the time.

2:54 p.m.. – Caller reported someone hacked into his computer. No report taken.

5:56 p.m. – Caller reported finding a vintage Coca Cola sign, which was stolen from her a year ago, for sale at a garage sale. No report taken.

6:14 p.m. – Two dogs were found wandering in a yard, 41900 block of North River. One was a puppy and the other was a little bit older. Both were friendly.
