7:01 a.m. – Animal complaint in 27900 block of Sunny Valley Lane. Deputies responded to ongoing civil issue between two neighbors. Deputies have responded to more than a dozen calls to this location since February, including some multiple visits on the same day.
10:34 a.m. – Caller in 39300 block Highway 228 reported fraud attempt. Wells Fargo bank caught and stopped suspicious transactions.
11:52 a.m. – Trespass reported in 27000 block Latiwi Creek Road. Someone was cutting a wood post to access House Rock Campground. Illegal camp was tagged by county parks staff, cleaned out. No contact with campers.
3:34 p.m. – Officer located male camping at location, 1119 Main St. Male trespassed from 1119 Main and 1121 Main, will be gathering belongings and leaving area.
4:31 p.m. – Caller reports male who has been previously trespassed is at location and acting aggressive towards employees, Main St. Speedee Mart. Officer responded, contacted male, trespassed from location.
5:17 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reports overdose at location, 679 Main St. Sweet Home Family Medicine. Male is agitated but nonviolent. Officer responded, male transported by medics.
7:42 p.m. – Caller reports 30 bags of cans taken from location, 1083 23rd Ave. Officer responded, report taken, forwarded to city attorney for review.

8:07 a.m. – Caller reports speaking with female on phone who sounds like she is being assaulted. Officer responded, quiet upon arrival, no physical altercation. Prestin James Hugley, 37, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third degree theft. Arrested on Linn County Supervisory warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third degree theft, 767 Mountain View.
9:52 a.m. – Caller reports theft at location that happened yesterday, 3041 Main St. Hoy’s Hardware. Officer responded, report taken for third degree theft approximate value of $64.99.
10:21 a.m. – Caller reports receiving photo of female with black eye, requests welfare check, 767 Mountain View Rd. Officer responded, report taken for domestic violence assault.

April 7
4:11 a.m. – Caller reports someone stole items from her backyard, 411 Holley Rd. Officer responded, report taken for third degree theft.
4:15 a.m. – Caller reports her husband is breaking things and threatening her. Officer responded, verbal disturbance only. Parties agreed to remain separated for the time being, 4610 Main St. Annie Geo Avery, 27, cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for dog at large, 4610 Main St.
12:42 p.m. – Deputy located female camping in 43600 block Upper Calapooia Drive, near 18.5 milepost sign. Advised to vacate immediately.
2:26 p.m. – Caller into police department to report front license plate taken from vehicle and stickers on back license plate torn, 1337 Hawthorne St. Officer responded, report taken for third degree theft.
2:55 p.m. – Caller reports finding ID on property, 1849 Ames Creed Rd. Assisted, placed in property.
4:15 p.m. – Matthew Henderson, 37, cited for driving uninsured, 1200 Block Main.

2:36 a.m. – Michelle Yvonne Ramos, 40, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree theft, Deschutes County.
5:55 a.m. – Caller reports male came in with no shirt on and walked into female bathroom, 1810 Main St. Officer responded, contacted male and trespassed him from location at caller request.
7:43 a.m. – Caller reports neighbor took a sign off of his house, 1083 23rd Ave. Officer responded, contacted caller, unknown who took sign. Report taken for third degree theft, approximate value of $20.
2:32 p.m. – Todd Keenon, 39, of Sweet Home, arrested after armed disturbance. Charged with menacing, unlawful use of weapon, felon in possession of firearm X2, resisting arrest and first-degree theft. 40200 block Crawfordsville Drive. Lodged in Linn County Jail. Report taken.
2:05 p.m. – Marilyn Crosiar, 58, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third degree theft, 1950 Main St. Sweet Home Police Department.

9:11 a.m. – Caller reported jewelry items stolen from residence in 40900 block Highway 228. Total unavailable. Report taken.
12:35 p.m. – Caller brought in phone to police department that his friend found in the trash, 1950 Main St. Sweet Home Police Department. Assisted, placed in property.
1:45 p.m. – Caller into police department requested to speak to an officer regarding domestic violence, 3585 Juniper St. Report taken for fourth degree domestic violence assault.
2:16 p.m. – Caller wishes to report a theft that occurred on March 23, 2021, 621 Main St. Report taken for third degree theft.

4:54 a.m. – Officer located scooter during foot patrol, 1712 11th Ave Northside Park. Placed in property.
5:45 a.m. – Woman reported as missing from Sweet Home was located in a stolen vehicle by Bend police. Mecaela Horning, 27, of Albany was lodged in Deschutes County Jail for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. According to Sheriff’s log entries, she had been reported missing from 28400 block of Pleasant Valley Road the day before, after leaving her parents’ house on the afternoon of April 8. Report taken.
9:24 a.m. – Bicycle left in parking lot, 2414 Main St. Blue Cruiser placed in property.
9:36 a.m. – Derl Scott Brown, 35, cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 3200 Block Main.
2:20 p.m. – Deputies recovered stolen vehicle that had been reported to Springfield police. Witness identified the truck as stolen and notified the owner and Linn County Sheriff’s Office, which confirmed it was stolen. Vehicle returned to owner and reports forwarded to Springfield P.D. No immediate arrests. Report taken. 27100 block High Deck Road.
5:58 p.m. – Caller believes she witnessed a vehicle hit the store, 1501 Main St. Driver may be impaired. Jeremy Wyatt Strawn, 24, cited for driving uninsured and for driving with a suspended license. Joseph Kyle Crawford, 23, cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for possession of meth and failure to appear on an original charge of a criminal citation.

7:28 a.m. – Joseph Lee Shores, 49, arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespass, Lebanon Police Department.
9:44 a.m. – Caller reported theft of two bicycles from River Bend Campground, 45900 block Highway 20. Bicycles described as black Trek mountain bike with 29-inch wheels, 27 speed, valued at $600; and a Black Giant, 27.5 inches, 27 speed, valued at $600. Under investigation. Report taken.
9:52 a.m. – Caller reports transient camped at location, requested they be trespassed, 1234 Long St. Cornerstone Church. Officer responded, contacted and trespassed male from location, male will gather belongings and move along.

1:20 p.m. – Machaelray Jensen, 40, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree criminal mischief and failure to appear on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass, Hwy. 20 Church of Christ.

4:12 p.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts, 32, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree theft X2, failure to appear on an original charge of menacing, and failure to appear on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass, Lebanon Police Department.
4:19 p.m. – Caller reports neighbor began cursing at him and his children for playing with a go-cart on the street, neighbor then tried to hit caller and daughter with a dirt bike, 4300 Block Citabria.
