11:43 a.m. – Caller reported a fence being constructed without a permit, 1800 block of 53rd. Referred to code enforcement.

April 12

3:44 p.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 39, arrested on state warrant for contempt of court on original charge of possession of meth, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:13 p.m. – Jess Thomas Drexler, 39, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 13th and Nandina. Cited and released.

6:57 p.m. – Caller reported that two females stole a magazine, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $15.

11:50 p.m. – Christine Nicole Killian, 29, turned in herself on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

April 11

3:13 a.m. – Caller reported a male and female fighting in the parking lot, with the male yelling for police, 1108 Main St. Report taken for harassment and second-degree criminal mischief.

6:23 a.m. – Caller reported a transient sleeping on the sidewalk in front of Dairy Queen, 1364 Main St. Subject gone on officer arrival.

April 10

4:59 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle, 600 block of Seventh. Report taken.

5:22 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle, 800 block of Seventh. Report taken. Loss of stereo valued at $289.

5:27 a.m. – While on another call, an officer discovered someone had broken into a vehicle, 600 block of Seventh. Report taken.

9:09 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor has seven chickens, and they are digging holes under the caller’s fence, 1100 block of 47th. Referred to code enforcement.

12:59 p.m. – Caller reported children standing on sidewalk near traffic, with no adult supervision, 3000 block of Main. Officer warned parents for child neglect and will forward report to state Department of Human Services.

2:38 p.m. – Jeffery Todd Reeder, 49, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 18th and Long. Police had responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian. Officers located a subject who had fallen trying to get out of a vehicle. Medics responded to transport the subject.

2:51 p.m. – Terry Wayne Watkins, 63, cited for operating with a shifting or leaning load, Oak Terrace and Eighth. Mud and debris spilled from a dump truck along the westbound lane of Oak Terrace.

5:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle and stole her purse, 300 block of 11th. Report taken. Loss valued at $40.

6:48 p.m. – Zona Mae Carper, 43, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass and on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, 1024 14th Ave. Cited and released.

7:07 p.m. – Caller reported that a female ran over his foot, and he would like to pursue charges, 1000 block of Mountain View. Report forwarded to city attorney.

11:18 p.m. – Ladonna Sue Parham, 32, cited for no license and no insurance, 14th and Fir.

April 9

12:04 a.m. – Thomas Brady Harrington, 39, arrested for attempting to elude, vehicle, and reckless driving, 1100 block of Main. Cited and released.

12:42 a.m. – Vehicle reported stolen from Redmond located, 1600 block of 13th.

1:25 a.m. – Sara Beth Bishop, 26, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of contempt of court, Redwood. Cited and released.

8:30 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of $20, 900 block of Main. Report taken.

9:29 a.m. – Caller reported a possible scam, 300 block of West Pine. Information noted.

10:27 a.m. – Caller reported that someone attempted to break in, 3200 block of Main. Report taken.

11:06 a.m. – Caller reported that his bicycle and canoe were stolen while he was incarcerated, 1200 block of 53rd. Report taken.

12:15 p.m. – Caller reported improper posting of sign, Main and Highway 228. Sign removed.

12:49 p.m. – Michael Augustine Byrnes, 23, and Aaron N. Allen, 20, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Byrnes also arrested for third-degree escape, McDonald’s. Both cited and released.

1:06 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1800 block of Ulex. Report taken.

1:27 p.m. – Caller reported neighbors burning their trash in a barrel, 1100 block of 43rd. Officer responded. Items burned in fire pit were approved items.

2:25 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke windows in neighbor’s vehicle, 400 block of Maple Lane. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

2:29 p.m. – Caller reported improper posting of sign, 22nd and Mountain View. Sign removed.

2:48 p.m. – Dennis Bruce Teigen, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Lebanon. Cited and released.

4:26 p.m. – Erica Evelyn Fogarty, 20, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 1670 13th Ave. Citation signed by caller Trina Prichard, 44, who reported being trapped in a vehicle by a dog.

4:57 p.m. – Caller reported finding checks while doing ditch work, 2100 block of Long.

April 8

5:42 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle stolen during the night, 1000 block of 43rd. Report taken.

9:35 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his shop and entered his wife’s vehicle, 1000 block of 43rd. Report taken.

10:04 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered a storage unit and took model airplanes, 1200 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.

10:15 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle, but nothing appeared taken, 2600 block of Long. Report taken.

10:22 a.m. – Curtis James Allyn, 24, cited for failure to drive within lane, 1746 Main St. Caller had reported that a vehicle drove over the curb and hit her building.

11:33 a.m. – Caller reported trash dumped on railroad right-of-way between 1200 and 1800 block. Report taken.

12:28 p.m. – Caller reported that two juveniles tried to break into the women’s restroom and were starting a fire in a garbage can, Sweet Home High School baseball field. Officer contacted juveniles, who said they were eating lunch. Officer did not locate evidence.

1:14 p.m. – Joseph Clayton Pritchett, 52, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of attempting to elude, Linn County Jail.

1:16 p.m. – Thomas Charles Trotts, 41, cited on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree escape, Linn County Jail.

2:09 p.m. – Karolyne Ann Daniel, 27, cited for failure to obey traffic control device, no license, failure to carry proof of insurance and driving uninsured in two-vehicle crash, 47th and Main. No injuries. Second driver was Nathan Lee Schmunk, 45, of Eugene.

5:22 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup parked on the street for a prolonged period and leaking oil, 1700 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

5:23 p.m. – Caller reported bags of trash stacked next to a house for more than a month, 700 block of Seventh. Referred to code enforcement.

6:05 p.m – Caller reported her Social Security number was used in tax fraud, 700 block of 50th. Report taken.

8:37 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup just went up on a curb and hit a sign, Long near 12th. Vehicle gone on officer arrival. Report taken. Public Works notified.

April 7

12:44 a.m. – Zachary Gene Johnson, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Benton County. Transported to Benton County Jail.

1:15 a.m. – John Harvey O’Brien, 38, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and contempt of court on original charge of probation violation, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s.

5:41 a.m. – Jay Lamar Humphries, 51, cited and released in field on Corvallis warrant for failure to appear on original charge of illegal camping, 1344 Main St. Caller had reported a male sleeping in the doorway with boxes all around him.

10:13 a.m. – Stanley Edward Gray, 52, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Linn County Circuit Court.

10:41 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the caller’s vehicle and took items, 900 block of 43rd. Report taken.

11:05 a.m. – Jacob Evans Tanner, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

11:49 a.m. – Augustin John Wagasky, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 898 43rd Ave. Cited and released.

3 p.m. – Eric Daniel Grimm, 42, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving while suspended, 1140 12th Ave.

3;39 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle, 100 block of eighth.

4:40 p.m. – Caller reported people opening bags and scattering trash at a vacant house, 2400 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

5:05 p.m. – Amanda June Herbert, 26, arrested for third-degree theft, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Cited and released.

5:28 p.m. – Amanda June Herbert, 26, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

April 6

2:13 p.m. – Caller reported the fraudulent use of her credit card, 1600 block of Elm. Report taken.

2:30 p.m. – Caller reported a fence above height restrictions, 1300 block of Nandina. Referred to code enforcement.

4:58 p.m. – Michael David Roentz, 43, arrested for fraudulent use of a credit card and third-degree theft in connection to the report at 2:13 p.m., 1619 Elm St. Cited and released.

6:36 p.m. – Caller turned in a stereo she believed may have been stolen, 1100 block of 28th. Property seized.

April 3

5:10 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle in the ditch, on Brush Creek about a mile from Highway 228. No one was around when deputy responded.

11:23 a.m. – Caller reported a dead cow behind his house, and he is fairly certain it had been shot, 39600 block of Highway 228. Report taken.
