1:21 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s dogs keep coming into his yard, 1100 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.
1:32 p.m. – Caller reported that traffic lights were on green for vehicles in both directions at Main and 12th. Officer responded. Lights appeared to work properly. Officer planned to watch for several cycles.

April 9
1:04 p.m. – Caller reported a pit bull just tried to attack his child then a male subject threatened to beat up the child, 1900 block of Willow. Officer responded. Two separate incidents occurred at the same time. Officer contacted the male, who was apologetic. The officer also contacted the daughter of the dog’s owner and advised of the complaint. Officer would attempt to contact the dog’s owner.
2:59 p.m. – Marion Lee Gardner, 43, cited and released in field on a state felony warrant for failure to appear on possession of meth, 53rd at the railroad tracks.
4:08 p.m. – John Mark Taylor, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 53rd at railroad tracks. Cited and released.
8:58 p.m. – William Henry Kite Jr., 36, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of three counts of interfering with making a police report, two counts of harassment and contempt of court and a new charge of possession of meth, behind Safeway, 1540 Main St., on the railroad tracks. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11 p.m. – Driver and two passengers, all disabled, were reported stuck in about 10 inches of snow on the 1133 road at about the 8.5-mile mark. Deputy located the vehicle and helped start the vehicle and then pulled the vehicle backward out of the snow, approximately a quarter mile, and then followed the vehicle to paved road.
