April 14

7:58 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle during the night took money, 800 block of Second. Report taken.

11:11 a.m. – Brian Lynn Wagner, 35, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and possession of meth and cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, 12th and Poplar. Cited and released.

11:14 a.m. – Frank Jay Neal McCubbins, 82, cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, Main and 10th.

11:18 a.m. – Trevor Alden Groff, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:41 a.m. – Steven Wayne Richardson, 38, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, south end of 13th off Kalmia. Cited and released.

11:48 a.m. – Aubrey A. Stewart, 67, cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, 12th and Main.

12:06 p.m. – Janice Marie Schmidtke, 59, cited for passing a vehicle stopped for a pedestrian in a crosswalk, Main near 15th.

12:20 p.m. – Robert Kevin Gardner, 48, cited for failure to wear seatbelt, A&W parking lot.

12:35 p.m. – Stephanie Ruth Lyons, 26, cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a sidewalk and failure to carry proof of insurance, Town Pump parking lot.

1 p.m. – James Matthew Rey-nolds, 29, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, Main and Clark Mill.

April 13

12:06 a.m. – Carrie Ann Giles, 33, cited for no license, 18th south of Main.

12:31 a.m. – Johnny Lee Stone, 21, arrested on Linn County warrant for contempt of court, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Cited and released. Caller had reported that a male was escorted out of the bar and was being verbal with his girlfriend.

11:39 a.m. – Hailee Jo Smith-Daggett, 21, cited and released on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

1:46 p.m. – Brandin Martin Hugley, 26, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 3681 Green River Drive. Cited and released.

2:13 p.m. – Joshua David Robertson (AKA Rice), 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Quartzville Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:14 p.m. – Richard Kenneth Robertson, 58, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and cited for possession of marijuana, 1658 Long St. Cited and released.

6:57 p.m. – Jack Vance Townsend Jr., 47, arrested for driving under the influence, eastbound in The Narrows, west of Sweet home on Highway 20. Cited and released.

9:38 p.m. – David Ray Thornbrough, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Deschutes County. Cited and released.

10:23 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a house, 2200 block of Main. Items were stolen. Report taken.

April 12

12:01 p.m. – Gerald Lee Stroud, 51, arrested for third-degree theft in connection to an April 11 theft report from Midway Market, Main near Cedar Shack. Cited and released.

12:42 p.m. – Caller reported that a female stole his cell phone, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken. Phone valued at $100.

12:51 p.m. – Caller reported that his daughter was just bitten by a dog. Report taken. Dog quarantined, and girl taken to urgent care.

5:21 p.m. – Shane William Wells, 37, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Sweet Home Gleaners.

7:07 p.m. – Adam Ricky Hummer, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for driving under the influence and reckless driving, 1099 Long St., Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District. Cited and released.

7:32 p.m. – Edward Casto, 21, cited for no license, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

7:41 p.m. – Justin James McLaws, 25, cited and released for misdemeanor driving while suspended and cited for driving uninsured, 49th and Mountain Fir.

8:57 p.m. – Caller reported her daughters were assaulted by a 21-year-old male, Sankey Park. Report taken.

9:27 p.m. – Ashley Mae Waters, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of contempt of court and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, Key Bank parking lot, 10th and Long.

April 11

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a subject purchased a quart of oil but stole brake fluid, 3239 Main St., Midway Grocery. Report taken.

1:21 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s dogs keep coming into his yard, 1100 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.

1:32 p.m. – Caller reported that traffic lights were on green for vehicles in both directions at Main and 12th. Officer responded. Lights appeared to work properly. Officer planned to watch for several cycles.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup just drove through the front window at O&M Tires, 4420 Main St. Report taken. Damage to vehicle and structure. No citations.

6:09 p.m. – Caller reported someone stole guns and other items, 2000 block of Long. Report taken. Approximate value was less than $10,000.

9:39 p.m. – Steven Wayne Richardson cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County.

April 10

2:20 a.m. – Caller reported seeing a couple of people behind Mr. Lucky’s, 1207 Long St.,and hearing a lot of noise. Officer located a broken flower pot and garbage cans that were knocked over. Report taken.

10:50 a.m. – William Ernest Cockrell, 51, arrested for third-degree theft, Hoy’s Hardware. Cited and released.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported dangerous trees, 5600 block of Larch. Referred to code enforcement.

4:59 p.m. – James William Ayala, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

6:13 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 21, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and charged with misdemeanor driving while suspended; and Elizabeth Lynn Brown, 32, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree forgery, 1190 27th Avenue. Both cited and released.

April 9

1:04 p.m. – Caller reported a pit bull just tried to attack his child then a male subject threatened to beat up the child, 1900 block of Willow. Officer responded. Two separate incidents occurred at the same time. Officer contacted the male, who was apologetic. The officer also contacted the daughter of the dog’s owner and advised of the complaint. Officer would attempt to contact the dog’s owner.

2:59 p.m. – Marion Lee Gardner, 43, cited and released in field on a state felony warrant for failure to appear on possession of meth, 53rd at the railroad tracks.

4:08 p.m. – John Mark Taylor, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 53rd at railroad tracks. Cited and released.

8:58 p.m. – William Henry Kite Jr., 36, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of three counts of interfering with making a police report, two counts of harassment and contempt of court and a new charge of possession of meth, behind Safeway, 1540 Main St., on the railroad tracks. Transported to Linn County Jail.

April 8

8:09 a.m. – Caller reported finding a bicycle, Pleasant Valley Bridge. Placed in found property.

10:38 a.m. – Michell Dawn Slay, 26, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 300 W. Holley Road, Stone Brook Apartments.

12:02 p.m. – Loris David Whitton, 58, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

1:52 p.m. – Caller reported a truck full of garbage parked on the street, 1100 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.

2:11 p.m. – Caller reported couch and furniture pieces in a burn pile, 1800 block of 18th. Referred to code enforcement.

3:01 p.m. – Caller reported a theft from Hoy’s Hardware, 3041 Main St. Report taken. Item valued at $14.99.

5:08 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of an emblem from her vehicle, 1200 block of Evergreen. Information noted.

6:27 p.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 42, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, 1400 block of Long. Cited and released.

7:14 p.m. – Caller reported finding a syringe under a bush, 1800 block of Long. Syringe seized.

7:49 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle from Thriftway, 621 Main St. Report taken. Bike valued at $400.

7:55 p.m. – Caller reported three tires missing, 2400 block of Long. Report taken. Tires valued at $75.

9:29 p.m. – Sara Ann Bejar Suarez, 31, cited for driving while suspended, Long and 46th.

10:36 p.m. – Miguel Alfredo Gutierrez, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of placing an offensive substance in water, on the highway or on property, 200 block of Main. Cited and released.

11 p.m. – Driver and two passengers, all disabled, were reported stuck in about 10 inches of snow on the 1133 road at about the 8.5-mile mark. Deputy located the vehicle and helped start the vehicle and then pulled the vehicle backward out of the snow, approximately a quarter mile, and then followed the vehicle to paved road.

April 7

3:29 p.m. – Rochelle Arquette Zamacona, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1200 block of Long. Cited and released.

4:01 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in the area is constantly barking, 000 block of Nandina. Referred to code enforcement.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of five books worth $129, 1101 13th Ave., Sweet Home Public Library. Report forwarded to city attorney.

5:41 p.m. – Caller reported that someone scraped her vehicle while parked, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Information noted.

April 4

9:25 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of 50 gallons of gasoline worth $200 and a wood splitter worth $1,500, 28600 block of Highway 20. Report taken.
