April 12

9:28 a.m. – Nicholas Godell arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear, 41800 block of North River. Transported to Linn County Jail.

April 11

7:28 a.m. – Alan Owens, 47, cited for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 39300 block of Highway 228.

8:46 a.m. – Jonathan Edward Marsh, 30, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation and Linn County warrant for failure to comply. Transported to Linn County Jail.

April 10

4:53 a.m. – Caller found a bicycle leaning against a bush, 2200 block of Main. Placed in found property.

8:21 a.m. – Caller reported cattle on the roadway, Brush Creek and Highway 228. Deputy unable to locate.

April 9

7:31 a.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash with a minor injury, 25300 block of Brush Creek. Driver walked to Marcola to get help.

8:13 a.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 31, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 3041 Main St.

8:25 a.m. – Caller found a cell phone, 1500 block of Tamarack. Phone placed in found property.

9:52 a.m. – Caller reported a male trespassing several days earlier, 42200 block of Ames Creek Road. Incident documented.

11:39 a.m. – Caller reported that someone charged a large amount of money to his credit card without his permission, 4500 block of Live Oak.

12:46 p.m. – Caller found a phone at McDonald’s several days previously, 2000 Main St. Phone placed in found property.

2:05 p.m. – Caller found a stray dog, 3205 Main St., Hawthorne Elementary School. Placed in kennel.

2:21 p.m. – Ladonna Gayle Bales, 43, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lane County.

2:42 p.m. – Nancy Virginia Edwards, 57, arrested on Linn County warrant for violation of a no-contact order, 45th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:58 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked for a couple of weeks, 1800 block of 18th. Vehicle posted for removal.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported a male pacing back and forth in front of the restaurant, 1502 Long St. The male had a long knife. Officer contacted a male juvenile who had a holstered Airsoft pistol, a hunting knife and a long wooden dowel. Officer cautioned him for his behavior and advised to take the items home.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported cattle in the roadway, Quartzville and Old Hufford. The area is open range.

5:29 p.m. – Caller reported a boom truck missing from Carson Oil lot, 4220 Main St. Investigation continuing.

5:40 p.m. – Karen Lynette Baugus, 46, cited by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal trespass.

7:18 p.m. – A 17-year-old male taken into custody and referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of tobacco and probation violation, 900 block of Terrace Lane. Transported to Linn-Benton Detention Center.

April 8

11:27 a.m. – Andrew Christopher Jones, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

12:32 p.m. – Caller reported a shotgun stolen from his residence within the past six months, 44300 block of North River. Loss valued at $630. Investigation is ongoing.

4:31 p.m. – Caller found four syringes on the side of the street, 12th and Tamarack. Officer disposed of the syringes.

7:22 p.m. – Ronnette Leeann Robertson, 36, arrested on Lebanon warrants for contempt of court, probation violation and failure to appear and a new charge of possession of meth, 1707 Main St. Cited and released.

9:31 p.m. – Jennifer Ann Martin, 42, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Deschutes County Jail.

April 7

10:07 a.m. – Helen Jo Moak, 60, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation and contempt of court and cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

11:29 a.m. – Cameron Michael Wark, 29, arrested on Linn County warrants for two counts of possession of meth and failure to appear on a criminal citation, old mill property. Cited and released.

2:24 p.m. – Caller reported a nephew came home with blood on his face and reported he was robbed near Sankey Park. Report taken.

4:13 p.m. – Ariel Shanea Kaping, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft of lost or mislaid property, Albany.

9:25 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 18th and Long. Officer responded and assisted in exchange of information. No injuries. No citations. Damage less than $2,500.

April 6

4:01 a.m. – Aaron Leopold Lovato, 25, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for possession of heroin and meth, Osage and 41st.

9:27 a.m. – Caller reported an animal got into her rabbit cages and she believed it may have been a neighbor’s dog, 5500 block of Nandina. Information noted. Unknown what kind of animal got into the cages.

2:14 p.m. – Caller found two abandoned dogs, 1530 Main St. Placed in kennel. Animal Control advised.

April 5

2:28 a.m. – Andrew Jacob Justin Cartwright, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree thet, 22nd and Main. Cited and released.

8:16 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had broken into a neighbor’s house and the caller could see broken windows, 1100 block of 18th. Officer found several broken windows. The house had been vacant and it wasn’t clear when it occurred. Officer attempted to contact the owner. Report taken.

9:04 a.m. – Caller reported a male subject dumping the trash out of trash bags back into the trash cans at Sankey Park and taking the trash bags, 877 14th Ave. Investigation continuing.

11:37 a.m. – Caller reported a possible reckless burn set at Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Report taken to be forwarded to Linn County Juvenile Department.

1:36 p.m. – Mark Anthony Simpson, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of failure to register as a sex offender, Eugene.

2:21 p.m. – Luke Kenneth Dale Buehne, 35, cited on a Linn County warrant for contempt of court, 28000 block of Riggs Hill Road.

3:03 p.m. – Kristopher Ray Moak, 32, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Oregon Department of Corrections.

6:47 p.m. – Caller reported being attacked in the street, 1400 block of 42nd Ave. No injuries. Officer unable to locate the dog although a resident believed the dog described is from the neighborhood.

7:08 a.m. – A 15-year-old male, 14-year-old female, 14-year-old male and 13-year-old female referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol, 300 block of 7th.

8:07 p.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 31, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Main and 22nd.

10:12 p.m. – Weston Donovan Thompson, 28, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 2200 block of Long. Caller had reported a male and female arguing in his backyard and then entering the caller’s house. The couple denied arguing but admitted to a verbal dispute with the caller and leaving the residence.

10:34 p.m. – Jeffrey Ryan Harris, 25, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis.

April 4

2:03 a.m. – Lawrence McCandless, 46, arrested on Benton County warrant for probation violation on original charges of distribution and possession of meth, 13th and Long. Transported to Benton County.

6:58 a.m. – Caller reported an older big dog in the roadway, Highway and railroad trestle. Officer unable to locate.

7:19 a.m. – Caller brought an older big dog that had been running in the roadway to the Police Department. Dog released to Linn County Animal Control.

9:44 a.m. – Caller reported a male out back kicking the dumpster, 1203 Long St., All-Star Pizza. Officer responded. Male had already left the area.

9:56 a.m. – Caller reported vague information about a possible old homicide in Sweet Home. Information forwarded to a detective.

11:57 a.m. – Caller reported a husky roaming the area, 1700 block of Dogwood. Returned to owner.

1:17 p.m.- Jamie Lynn Alvarez, 19, cited for careless driving, Highway 20 and Dew Road.

5:21 p.m. – Caller reported a dog bit his wife, 2400 block of Long. Officer contacted the victim, who did not wish to pursue charges but wanted the owner counseled. Officer left a business card at the owner’s residents requesting contact.

9:31 p.m. – Robert Edward Hilliard, 49, arrested for third-degree theft, 3127 Main St.

9:54 p.m. – Noe Nunez Manzo, 34, arrested on warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Keizer.

April 3

8:37 a.m. – A 13-year-old juvenile referred to Linn County Juvenile Department for possession of marijuana, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Caller had reported a student was in possession of marijuana and a knife.

11:22 a.m. – Caller reported a scam, 2200 block of Nandina. Information noted.

1:49 p.m. – Caller reported a male stole flowers from his yard, 1000 block of 14th. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the male. Caller requested the male be trespassed if located.

3:14 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking down the street with his private parts exposed, 1700 block of Main. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate.

4:28 p.m. – Nathan A. Deffenbaugh, 42, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.

6:59 p.m. Nicholas Warren, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two original charges of third-degree theft and original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a citation and Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:22 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was attempting to blackmail him over a fender bender, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Information noted.

April 2

6:47 a.m. – Caller reported that a female tore his sunglasses off his face and broke them, 1540 Main st., Safeway. Information noted at caller’s request.

10:54 a.m. – Caller reported that someone left items in a shopping cart in the parking lot, 1200 Long St., Friends of the Library Bookstore. Items were trash dumped at location. Caller will dispose of it.

4:08 p.m. – Joey Dawayne Persinger, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lake County.
