April 17

2:43 a.m. – Jac Kyle Arnold, 38, cited for no license and driving uninsured, Main and 53rd. Vehicle impounded.

April 16

3:39 a.m. – Jamie Elizabeth Geiger, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Clackamas County. Cited and released.

8:06 p.m. – Jennifer Lynn Harp, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:15 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to break into one of the vacuums, 948 Main St., car wash. Report taken for criminal mischief. Damage estimated at $200.

3:26 p.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 15th and Main. Cited and released.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported that a male urinated on the side of the road, 2400 block of Main. Officer responded. Male said he was being discrete and wasn’t able to make it to a bathroom. Officer counseled him for his actions.

9:06 p.m. – Robert Kenneth LaFollette, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, Albany. Cited and released.

April 15

10:11 a.m. – Property found at Sankey Park. Placed in found property.

10:17 a.m. – Elias James Severson, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Deschutes County. Cited and released.

11:10 a.m. – Caller reported a male was walking through the neighborhood taking photos of houses, 1200 block of 46th. The caller said he told the caller he was with Google. The caller had video of them all, and another neighbor had a photo of his vehicle and license plate. Officer contacted the registered owner of the vehicle. The owner is a contractor who said he was taking photos of the houses to help get estimates and ideas for potential builds in the area.

3:18 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose at Clover Park. Officer unable to locate.

4 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose in the area, 5600 block of Larch. Officer responded. Dog and owner gone upon arrival. Information was to be passed on to the dog’s owner.

4:05 p.m. – Jaycee Ryan McClurg, 29, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended. Cited and released.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported an aggressive dog running loose, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer contacted the dog’s owner and advised her of the complaint and potential consequences. The dog was in the owner’s residence upon officer arrival.

8:58 p.m. – Caller found a hunting-fishing license, Foster Lake. Placed in found property.

9:34 p.m. – Donald Steven Bryan, 49, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Transported to Linn County Jail.

April 14

1:21 a.m. – Caller found a wallet, 1540 Main St. Placed in found property.

8:32 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle impounded, 1300 block of 45th.

10:40 a.m. – Caller found multiple pieces of mail on the South Hills Trail. Officer collected the mail, dried it out and placed it in found property.

10:53 a.m. – Caller reported the Post Office notified her that she had mail stolen, 800 block of 50th. Report taken.

12 p.m. – Caller reported that a license plate fell off a vehicle while it was being towed, Sweet Home area.

4:10 p.m. – Caller reported a male spray painting a swastika onto his car, 18th and Willow. No crime committed.

4:18 p.m. – Caller located a double baby stroller and marijuana pipe in a shed, 1900 block of Main. Items placed in found property.

8:32 p.m. – Caller reported that a male who had been trespassed was in her yard, 1400 block of 13th. Report taken. Male left prior to officer arrival.

April 13

5:09 a.m. – Caller found a printer in the alley by the Public Library, 1101 13th Ave. Placed in found property.

5:16 a.m. – Caller reported that someone cut the chain to a shop door, and a four-wheeler was stolen, 1400 block of 47th. Report taken.

9:20 a.m. – Caller reported that an animal in her yard appeared to be injured, 1100 block of 26th. Officer responded. The animal was some type of rodent. It had a small injury but was not being aggressive. The caller said the animal was fine at the location for now.

11:40 a.m. – Caller reported two subjects under a blanket behind buildings, 1000 block of Main. Officer contacted the subjects and told them to move along.

12:16 p.m. – Caller reported that someone compromised her debit card, 5400 block of Poplar. No money taken. Information noted.

12:27 p.m. – Caller reported that a female continues to text her after being told to stop, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer warned the female for telephonic harassment. The female requested the caller be warned as well.

12:38 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone in the bushes, 1400 block of 47th. Placed in found property.

12:57 p.m. – Caller reported mail stolen and found on North River Road, 1200 block of Second. Report taken.

1:29 p.m. – Jason Scott Sylvester, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Lebanon. Cited and released.

3:30 p.m. – Caller reported a small German shepherd roaming the area, 300 block of Seventh. Officer unable to locate.

5:18 p.m. – Caller reported an excessive number of vehicles and possibly someone living in an RV, Ninth and Elm. Referred to code enforcement.

5:32 p.m. – Shane William Wells, 40, arrested on Lebanon warrant for possession of stolen property, Linn County Justice warrant for probation violation and Albany warrant for contempt of court and cited for driving while suspended, Highway 228 at the city limits. Caller had reported a truck hauling unsecured metal.

7:38 p.m. – Jordan Reed Kitto, 50, arrested for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

7:42 p.m. – Ruth Gaynelle Robbins, 44, and Jesse Michael Langdon, 35, arrested for first-degree burglary, 1671 13th Ave. Langdon also arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and Linn County Justice warrant for failure to appear and cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to renew registration. Both transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported that someone broke into the neighbor’s house again.

11:45 p.m. – Caller reported a little brown dog had been running around for the past two days, Ames Creek and Mountain View. Officer advised and would watch for the dog as time allowed.

April 12

8:41 a.m. – Caller found a key outside the Police Department, 1950 Main St. Placed in found property.

10:03 a.m. – Caller reported that an adult gave his child marijuana, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Investigation continuing.

2:05 p.m. – Caller reported that people are having sex in the bushes, 1400 block of Nandina. Officer responded and contacted a female who was by herself changing clothes. She thought she wasn’t in sight of anyone. She moved along.

3:49 p.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 29, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, Sankey Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:03 p.m. – Caller reported that a male left a stick figure with her boyfriend’s name on it and a zip tie around the neck like a noose, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer responded. Caller wanted the male trespassed. Officer located and trespassed the male from the caller’s residence.

April 11

3:25 a.m. – Gary Duane Bagley, 58, cited for code violation, tall grass and weeds.

9:04 a.m. – Caller reported that a student threatened a staff member and left campus, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Report taken.

10:06 a.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 53, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

11:41 a.m. – Travis Gary Hummer, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended, Corvallis. Cited and released.

12:37 a.m. – Caller reported that his vehicle had been shot with a BB gun, 300 block of 18th. Report taken. Damage estimated at $300.

1:14 p.m. – Caller reported property stolen, 300 block of 10th. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.

1:48 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 5400 block of Main. Placed in found property.

5:02 p.m. – Caller reported that trees are falling on his grandmother’s house, and he wanted them taken care of, 3100 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

April 10

6:45 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen vehicle and returned it to the owner. Plates reported stolen.

8:07 a.m. – Corey Eugene Myers, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Dallas. Cited and released.

8:54 a.m. – Caller reported that a female attempted to open bank accounts in a male’s name and used his debit card, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

9:23 a.m. – Caler reported that a small white dog showed up, 2200 block of Juniper. Dog placed in kennel. Dog control advised.

11:52 a.m. – Caller reported garbage exposed to the public street, 1600 block of Cedar. Referred to code enforcement.

1:01 p.m. – Caller reported medication stolen, 1200 block of Second. Report taken.

3:20 p.m. – Caller reported that her granddaughter stole her credit card and used it, 4600 block of Main. Report taken.

4:22 p.m. – Caller reported that an iPad was taken a couple of days earlier, and the male suspect wanted to sell it back to her, 1800 block of 18th. Report taken for theft. Loss valued at $100 to $200.

5:26 p.m. – Three-vehicle crash, 13th and Main. Report taken. No injuries. No citations.

7:15 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was unable to drive a vehicle and kept killing it, 2000 block of Main. Officer responded. Operator was learning how to drive with a manual transmission.

April 9

3:49 p.m. – Caller reported that a 25-mph sign had been knocked down, 2200 block of Long. Sign seized. Public Works notified.

9:18 p.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 20, cited for driving uninsured, 4000 block of Main.
