5:00 p.m. – Terry Lynn Bryant, 38, of Lebanon, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass on Cascade Timber Consulting property, 42300 block Ames Creek Road, Sweet Home. Cited and released. Report taken.
5:35 p.m. – Caller reports loose dog in area, 1900 block Willow. Officer responded, dog had returned home prior to officer arrival. John Oliver Pruitt, 76, cited for dog as a public nuisance.
6:23 p.m. – Caller wanted to report roommate for theft since roommate collected her mail. Caller was advised this was not a criminal matter, that she needed to go ask roommate for mail. 27900 block Fern Ridge Road.
6:30 p.m. – Caller reports finding syringes at location, Green River, Near 37th Cir. Officer responded, items disposed of.
9:17 p.m. – Caller reports finding drug paraphernalia left behind by ex, 300 W. Holley Rd. Officer responded, items seized and disposed of.
10:46 p.m. – Kenneth Ray Faulconer, 27, arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation and arrested for third degree escape, 1203 Long St.
11:14 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in the gravel parking lot, 4610 Main St. Officer responded, item disposed of.
April 20
9:51 a.m. – Deputy checked report of graffiti on Green Peter Dam. Worker had already removed paint by time deputy arrived.
10:00 a.m. – Caller brought in found wallet to Sweet Home Police Department. Assisted, placed in property.
11:58 a.m. – Caller reports his vehicle was broken into last night, 1321 Kalmia St. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and third degree theft, approximate loss of value $70.
1:06 p.m. – Caller found a phone at location, 2324 Main St. Hutchins Welding. Requested officer pickup. Officer responded, item placed in property.
2:21 p.m. – Caller reported four sets of bones in area round SUN200 gate on Sunnyside Road. Deputy investigated. All were deer bones.
2:21 p.m. – Deputy patrolling trails behind Menear’s Bend noted adult male fishing in the nude on his boat on the river. According to Sheriff’s log: “Once he saw me, he sat down, covering himself.”
2:24 p.m. – Deputies responded to report of single motor vehicle crash in 42100 block North River Drive. Misty Hull, 41, of Lebanon, was driving a 2003 Oldsmobile on North River when her steering failed. Believed to have been caused by mechanical failure, according to Sheriff’s log. No injuries. No crimes. No citations.
7:02 p.m. – Caller reports a male is at the restaurant who was trespassed, 1010 Main St. Steven Kenneth Stitt, 36, cited and released for second degree criminal trespass.
7:44 p.m. – Dennis Gene Walker, 61, cited and released for second degree disorderly conduct, 12th Ave/ Main St.
8:52 p.m. – Edmond Allen Alexander, 42, arrested for theft and burglary, 1283 44th Ave.

3:10 p.m. – Deputy contacted group camped at milepost 19.5 on Quartzville Road, beyond the 14-day limit. Site was “clean and tidy” and occupants were “cooperative” and agreed to leave by following day.
4:45 p.m. – Deputy located illegal camp on Campbell-Global land in 45000 block Quartzville Road. Subject was contacted and told to leave area, and had when deputy checked back a few hours later.
7:11 p.m. – Caller reports her boyfriend was assaulted at location, 958 Main St. Officer responded, report taken for fourth degree assault.
9:55 p.m. – Caller reports male is now breaking down her bedroom door, 5573 Nandina St. Dalton Rhys Orr, 24, cited and released for second degree disorderly conduct and harassment.

8:57 p.m. – Stray dog located in Sweet Home was transported to Linn County Animal Control after it “kept escaping from the Sweet Home Police Department’s portable kennel,” according to the Sheriff’s log. Report taken.
9:15 p.m. – Joseph Arthur Williams, 42, arrested for driving with a suspended license, attempt to elude, interfering with a peace officer, failure to carry and present license and reckless endangering, Mtn. View and Ames Creek. Arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving with a suspended license. 11:01 a.m. – County parks employee reported finding wallet, ID and keys in a garbage can, 44900 block Quartzville Road. Property turned over to deputy, lodged at Sheriff’s Office until owner could be located.

1:05 p.m. – Caller reports single vehicle motor vehicle crash at location, 6000 Block Main. Officer responded, John Jay Webb, 51, cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

10:59 a.m. – Caller reports someone broke into the church last night and caused property damage, 1150 Elm St. Officer responded, report taken for second degree burglary and first degree criminal mischief.
11:18 a.m. – Denise Rochelle Burrow, 54, cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of meth possession and failure to appear on an original charge of criminal citation X8, and failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespass and failure to appear on an original charge of criminal citation X2, Safeway.

1:09 p.m. – Deputies stopped a vehicle after witnessing it passing in a no-passing lane on Highway 20 in vicinity of Riggs Hill Road. They determined the operator had made “an evasive maneuver” to prevent a crash just previous to the deputy witnessing the violation. No citation.
9:12 p.m. – Zachariah Lee Davis, 32, of Sweet Home, arrested for giving false information to a police officer and for driving while suspended after traffic stop in 200 block North 3rd Street/Territorial Street in Harrisburg. Also cited for driving uninsured and failure to use an ignition interlock device. Report taken.
