6:41 p.m. – Caller reported an old man waved a machete at the caller’s friend because his friend turned around in his driveway, 1800 block of Ulex. Officer responded and warned the male for the behavior.

10:37 a.m. – Caller reported finding a purse with drug paraphernalia, 1800 block of Kalmia. Seized for destruction.
10:53 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a $100 lawnmower, 1800 block of 18th. Report taken.
4:24 p.m. – Caller reported that he was attacked by a duck on 47th Avenue. Officer responded. Unable to locate duck.
10:58 p.m. – Keith Wayne Wolfe Jr., 38, and Gino Anthony Marcoccia, 39, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Both held for detox and released. Caller reported a disturbance between two males in the alley behind Downtown Lounge.

12:07 a.m. – Caller reported that someone just tried to steal gasoline from his vehicle, and someone may be outside, 400 block of Maple. Officer responded and advised patrol would be increased in the area.

8:07 a.m. – Robert Norman Jaques Jr., 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 1140 12th Ave. Sweet Home Municipal Court. Held for court.
10:10 a.m. – Caller reported finding marijuana in a dumpster, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Seized for destruction.

Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:52 p.m. – Cory Lee Madsen, 46, cited for following too closely and open container in two-vehicle crash, 22nd and Main. Second driver was Darwin Laverne Winn Jr., 43. No injuries.
4:45 p.m. – Nathan A. Deffenbaugh, 37, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft, Albany. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:04 a.m. – Caller reported that a student brought a debit card to school that did not belong to the student or the student’s family, 5526 Poplar St., Foster Elementary School. Property seized.
3:37 p.m. – Thomas Gaylen Drown, 64, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and first-degree criminal mistreatment, 1625 Tamarack St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:52 p.m. – Several callers reported females fighting, and a male with a machete also may have been involved, 22nd and Larch. Officers responded. No injuries. No one wished to pursue charges. Investigation continuing.
10:08 p.m. – Caller reported a hit-and-run pedestrian crash, 1500 block of Main. Irma Snyder, 50, transported to Samaritan Regional Medical Center with injuries to her left leg. Report taken.
10:43 a.m. – Caller reported that transients were blocking the sidewalk and taking up all of the space inside the bus shelter trying to stay out of the rain, 13th and Kalmia. No one catching the bus could get into the shelter. Subjects gone on arrival.

11:26 a.m. – Christina Marcella Marr, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Ninth and Nandina.
1:29 p.m. – Charles John Rice, 59, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

8:52 a.m. – Caller reported employee’s bicycle was stolen from Subway, 1280 10th Ave. Report taken. Bike valued at $60.
10:29 a.m. – Caller reported a theft of property valued at $25, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Report taken.
11:30 a.m. – Caller reported someone using his identity to file taxes, 900 block of Alder. Report taken.
3:23 p.m. – Caller reported a female stole $160 from her, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.
3:25 p.m. – Caller reported that his neighbor’s RV has possibly been stolen, 2300 block of Harding. The neighbor is out of state, and the RV should still be there. Report taken.
3:31 p.m. – Caller reported vehicles in the backyard, 1300 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.
4:55 p.m. – Alora Lynese Fulbright, 24, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 2225 Long St. Cited and released. Caller had reported she was hit in the face three times by a female named Alora.
6:43 p.m. – William Ernest Cockrell Jr., 51, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Property valued at $12.20.
6:57 p.m. – Caller reported that a tree on the walking trail near the 1100 block of Cedar had been struck by lightning and was now dangerous. Public Works will go through the Tree Commission to have the tree removed.
8:12 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Carrico, 30, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.
April 21
2:19 p.m. – Caller reported multiple subjects living in an RV, 300 block of West Pine.
4:05 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle just crashed into the side of All Star Pizza, 1203 Long St. Driver was Austin Mackenzie Taylor, 16. Damage to building was minimal. Damage to vehicle was less than $1,500. Driver and building owner reached civil resolution.
4:31 p.m. – Caller reported transients in front of Safeway, 1540 Main St, had some of their belongings in the roadway. Officer responded and contacted two subjects. Officer warned them for improper positioning of pedestrian in the road, and they moved on.
6:05 p.m. – Caller flagged down an officer to report that a female was struck by a vehicle, 1900 block of Main. Driver exchanged information with the pedestrian. No injury to the person or shopping cart.
10:18 p.m. – Caller reported a male fighting a woman, 22nd and Larch. Investigation continuing.
April 18
2:52 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle’s windshield was damaged while he was fishing, 47400 block of Quartzville. Report taken.
6:49 p.m. – Caller reported a single vehicle off the road, 27000 block of Sheep Creek. No injuries. Deputy found the owner walking about 4 miles from the vehicle. Owner given a ride home. Owner planned to return and retrieve the vehicle later in the evening.
