July 29

3:56 a.m. – Darrel George Berrigan, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1209 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:41 a.m. – Caller found a dog, 500 block of 5th. Dog placed in kennel and then released to owner.

9:24 a.m. – Brandon Scott Schatz, 29, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 3137 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:43 a.m. – Caller found a dog, Main and Holley. Dog placed in kennel and then released to owner.

11:09 a.m. – Caller reported someone switched his license plate, 44900 block of Quartzville.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken.

3:30 p.m. – Amanda Marie McDowell, 23, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St. Cited and released.

3:37 p.m. – Caller reported a motorcyclist lost control on a sharp curve at milepost 41 on Quartzville Road. The operator and motorcycle entered a forested area and went down a 75-foot embankment with the bike coming to rest on top of the male. The rider’s friends moved the motorcycle off of him and called 9-1-1. Report taken.

3:45 p.m. – Caller reported his suitcase was stolen, 900 block of Poplar. Information noted.

3:56 p.m. – Caller reported her 5-year-old son was bitten by her parents’ dog, 1100 block of Juniper. Quarantine order issued.

4:52 p.m. – Caller reported putting a deposit on a vehicle and the car was sold to someone else, 1800 block of Main. Information noted.

5:44 p.m. – A female reported being sexually assaulted at Green Peter Reservoir by two males, 45000 block of Quartzville. Report taken.

6:44 p.m. – Caller reported a parked boat trailer was hit by another person parking a boat trailer, Calkins Boat Ramp. Report taken.

6:59 p.m. – Officer responded to a report of an unconscious male, Mountain View and Long. A 25-year-old male fell off his bike. Transported to hospital by medics.

6:59 p.m. – Caller reported a landlord-tenant dispute that resulted in yelling and one being pushed, 25000 block of West Brush Creek. Report taken for harassment.

8:16 p.m. – Caller reported a road sign was hit by an object, 41100 block of Upper Calapooia. It was not clear if the sign was shot or what it may have been hit with. The damage was minimal. The sign does not need to be replaced or repaired. Report taken.

8:26 p.m. – John Thomas Gordon, 47, served on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Deschutes County.

July 28

1:51 a.m. – Ladonna Gayle Bales, 42, served on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene.

9:36 a.m. – Caller reported a male stole a carton of cigarettes, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken.

10 a.m. – Caller reported a female on an electric scooter crashed and was injured, 4100 block of Main. Female transported to hospital by medics.

10:14 a.m. – Caller reported someone broke into his trailer, 2300 block of Main. Report taken.

10:45 a.m. – Caller reported a male stole meat and beer then left in a black Volkswagen, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

12:52 p.m. – Caller reported a dog wandering around her house, 1300 block of Grape. Officer responded. Owner located.

3:17 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Report taken. Loss valued at $3.29.

4:10 p.m. – Deputy found four illegal camps on Bureau of Land Management property, 51400 block of Quartzville. Deputy warned them, and they moved their camps.

5:46 p.m. – Two campers reported thefts, 44900 block of Quartzville. One lost a cooler with water and two beers, and the other lost fishing poles from a boat.

5:57 p.m. – Angela Dianne May, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lake County.

8:01 p.m. – Michael Kent Prichard, 71, cited for failure to wear a seatbelt, 700 block of Long.

8:18 p.m. – Caller reported he got home from Sweet Home and found a dog in the back of his truck. Officer advised him of options by phone.

8:21 p.m. – Caller reported a subject was camping with a fire, 4300 block of Main. Officer contacted a male who was camping with permission from the property owner. Officer advised him of the ordinance on camping. The male planned to contact the city on Monday for a permit. Officer advised him that with the fire danger, he should not burn the weeds with a propane torch.

8:25 p.m. – Deputy found 17 illegal camps along Quartzville Road. Most were warned. Several had to put out fires. One group was preparing to camp, and another was empty and tagged for removal.

8:49 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 44400 block of North River. Report taken.

10:10 p.m. – Jason Riley Beasley, 44, cited on Linn County warrant for contempt of court, driving while suspended and no insurance, 1300 block of Long.

10:17 p.m. – Deputy found a small campfire, 51300 block of Quartzville Road. A male took responsibility for it. He claimed to only be burning trash. He and several others were warned for campfire violations.

11:13 p.m. – Deputy warned a male for an illegal camp, 46900 block of Quartzville. Male cleared the camp a short time later.

11:44 p.m. – Ryan Krause, 20, was cited on two Lebanon warrants.

July 27

2:26 a.m. – Jimmy Leon Coonrod, 66, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office.

8:26 a.m. – Ross Allen Scott, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

9:11 a.m. – Joe Allen Wayne Wood, 29, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), Lebanon warrant for contempt or court on original charge of driving while suspended and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 5500 block of Poplar. Caller had reported a female walking, holding her head and crying. A male on a bicycle went after her. Another caller reported that her daughter was assaulted by a male.

11:35 a.m. – Caller reported a small dog running in the roadway and was almost hit several times, Long and Clark Mill. Officer responded. The dog ran into a backyard. Officer unable to locate.

11:51 a.m. – Caller located the dog the officer was looking for, 700 block of Mountain View.

12:36 p.m. – Caller found a file folder in the roadway, 2200 block of Main. Placed in found property.

12:49 p.m. – Cody Isaiah Milligan, 21, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of trespass, Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of minor in possession, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge.

7:52 p.m. – Alec James Porter, 20, cited for no seatbelt, 2400 block of Main.

8:32 p.m. – Caller reported a trailer with a junker trailer on it had been left in front of the caller’s house, 2100 block of Long. Posted for removal.

11 p.m. – James Andrew Linder, 30, served on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft, third-degree theft and third-degree escape, Corvallis.

11:47 p.m. – Amber Elizabeth Martinez, 30, served on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of resisting arrest, Salem.

July 26

12:03 a.m. – A 16-year-old female who was feeling suicidal transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital on a police officer hold for mental evaluation, 1100 block of Clark Mill.

1:02 a.m. – Tyson D. Boren, 35, cited and released in field on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

8:54 a.m. – Caller reported she hasn’t been getting all of her mail, 4400 block of Long. Report taken.

9:14 a.m. – Caller reported a resident cut the lock on a water meter and turned the meter back on, 600 block of Elm. Report taken for criminal mischief and theft of services.

9:54 a.m. – Caller reported her dog was missing and another dog was in her house, 1400 block of 13th. Officer responded. The dog had no chip. Animal Control advised.

10:35 a.m. – Donald Ray Walkup Jr., 23, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St. Cited and released.

11:04 a.m. – Aaron Lee Sapp, 36, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of felon in possession of a weapon, 3137 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:20 p.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

2:33 p.m. – Stacey Diane Stafford, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of placing an offensive substance on the ground.

3:38 p.m. – Caller reported that a male driver flashed a silver handgun at him three times in the rearview mirror, milepost 18 on Highway 228. Officer contacted the driver, who denied having a gun in his vehicle. He said the caller had been tailgating him. Male was counseled.

7:10 p.m. – A 17-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Released to a parent.

7:40 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs were tied to a tree and had been barking nonstop, 1300 block of 53rd. Officer responded. It was quiet until the officer went up to the house. Officer advised resident of the complaint.

8:32 p.m. – Jose Palacios Moran, 48, cited for driving while suspended, 18th and Kalmia.

8:43 p.m. – Jordan Scott Carter, 28, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrants for failure to appear on three counts of possession of heroin, second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree theft, 12th and Elm. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:14 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a child that had just been struck in the head by the child’s mother in the Thriftway parking lot, 621 Main St. Officer unable to locate. Female no longer lived at her last listed address. Information forwarded to Lebanon Police Department.

9:24 p.m. – Brenda Joyce Gilford, 60, cited for violation of the noise ordinance, 4200 block of Long. A caller had reported his neighbor outside yelling profanities over a megaphone again.

July 25

12:06 a.m. – Caller reported that someone threw a skateboard at the caller’s truck and broke the side window, 1200 block of 12th. Caller wanted information noted for insurance purposes and the other person counseled if located.

3:40 a.m. – Ian Alan Nolan, 28, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem.

4:07 p.m. – Officer found a bicycle and backpack where a male dropped them before leaving Upper Sankey Park. Placed in evidence.

9:38 a.m. – Caller located a bag with a white substance in it on the sidewalk, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer seized and disposed of the item.

10:19 a.m. – Caller reported that someone attempted to steal her daughter’s bicycle during the night, 2400 block of Long. The cable lock had been cut. Report taken.

11:24 a.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 30, arrested for fourth-degree assault and for contempt of court, 329 9th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male dragging a 12-year-old out of a vehicle and stomping on his head.

3:06 p.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor was outside yelling through a megaphone again, 4200 block of Long. Officer contacted the neighbor and advised her she would be cited if she continued to violate the noise ordinance.

3:43 p.m.- Caller requested a welfare check on a male he found lying face down near the bus stop, 13th and Kalmia. He was conscious and breathing but moving slowly. Officer contacted the male, who refused any assistance.

5:34 p.m. – A caller reported a dog was chasing his daughter down the street so he confronted the owner, who cussed him out, 1600 block of 12th. A second caller reported that a male and his daughter were walking in front of her house, waving a bag to entice her dog. She told them to stop, and the male started yelling at the caller. Officer contacted both parties. The dog did not actually leave its yard. The dog owner was counseled for her actions. Both parties agreed to remain separated as much as possible.

6:03 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his fishing license from his vehicle while he was filling up a propane tank, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken. Loss valued at $25.50.

7:16 p.m. – Garland C. Richtsmeier, 50, arrested for harassment, 6191 Main St. Cited and released.

10:18 p.m. – Rachel Leann Adams, 24, cited for driving while suspended, 22nd and Long.

July 24

7:34 a.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash into a fence, 40000 block of Highway 228. No injuries. No citations.

8:47 a.m. – Caller reported an RV trailer parked on the side of the road for more than 10 days, 2700 block of Foothills. Officer unable to contact owner. Officer left a business card.

10:16 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor yelling curse words through a megaphone directed at the caller and his wife, 4200 block of Long. Caller called again to report the neighbor was spraying water over the fence onto the caller’s property. Officer contacted all parties. The caller said he may be willing to sign a citation for violation of the noise ordinance. Officer contacted the female, who did not deny the allegations but likely would vacate the neighboring residence the following day.

10:21 a.m. – Caller reported that someone opened a Verizon account in his wife’s name, 700 block of 4th. Information noted.

11:14 p.m. – Caller found a license plate in the water at Thistle Creek Boat Ramp. Placed in found property.

11:45 a.m. – Jordyn Leigh Hanna, 20, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug.

12:58 p.m. – Caller reported that he noticed the previous Friday that someone stole parts from his boat motor, 400 block of Maple. Officer responded. Information noted. A couple of screws were loose, and someone may have tampered with the motor.

1:07 p.m. – Caller reported that someone backed into her vehicle between Thursday and Sunday, 1234 Long St., Cornerstone Church. Report taken. Damage estimated at less than $2,500.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported a fire was started by fireworks, 1990 Long St., Sweet Home Skate Park. Report taken for reckless burning and second-degree criminal mischief. A juvenile was released to a guardian.

3:34 p.m. – Ruani Castadena, 29, arrested for first-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief, 1343 NW Tyler Ave., Corvallis. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was yelling through a megaphone again, 4200 block of Long. Officer responded and contacted the female neighbor, who denied the allegation. She agreed to return the megaphone to the person who loaned it to her.

6:07 p.m. – Caller found a newer-looking children’s bike, 2200 block of Main. Placed in found property.

7:57 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a diaper bag and wallet from an unsecured car, 200 block of 10th. Report taken.

July 23

7:48 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle at Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp. Posted for removal.

9 a.m. – Caller reported someone had hit mailboxes, 28800 block of Pleasant Valley. Report taken. Damage estimated at $100. Report taken.

9:08 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog was barking, 1900 block of 20th. Officer responded. The neighbors have ongoing issues.

9:22 a.m. – Caller reported a dog was dumped at her house, 1200 block of 44th. The caller said it was aggressive toward other dogs and nearly killed her dog the previous night. Officer responded. Caller had already called Animal Control to take the dog.

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped kerosene on her cat, 1100 block of 4th. Officer responded. The caller wanted the information noted for future reference.

12:29 p.m. – Caller reported he was nearly scammed out of money, 1100 block of 46th. Officer advised caller of options and provided a phone number for the Federal Trade Commission.

1:49 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, Edgewater Marina. Placed in found property.

2:04 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked on the street for the previous week, 1600 block of Long. Vehicle posted for removal.

3:24 p.m. – Kenneth George Adair II, 50, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, O’Reilly’s.

4:23 p.m. – Caller reported a FedEx package stolen on the previous Friday, 900 block of 28th. Report taken. Loss valued at $129.

5:11 p.m. – Caller reported tools stolen from outside, 1439 Main St., Rio Theater. Report taken.

5:53 p.m. – Officer witnessed a vehicle versus bicyclist crash, 18th and Main. Report taken. No injuries.

7:50 p.m. – Caller reported a female’s debit card was declined for a fuel purchase, 1306 Main St., Chevron. She did not return as agreed. Officer responded. Information noted at the caller’s request. Officer attempted contact with the female.

9 p.m. – Brittany Ann Mahlee Gibson, 29, cited and released in field on an Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 1105 Mountain View Road. A caller had reported a male and female, who were carrying something, coming from the backyard of a vacant residence. Officer responded. The front door was unsecured. Officer cleared the residence, which was unoccupied. Unknown if items were taken. Information noted.
