Aug. 16

6:28 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog had been barking for an hour. Officer unable to locate a barking dog.

9:08 a.m. – Elias James Severson, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Oregon State Police. Cited and released.

10:18 a.m. – Steven Paul Norris, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to appear, mill property, 18th and Tamarack. Cited and released.

Aug. 15

12:59 a.m. – While on patrol, an officer found a child’s scooter, 4200 block of Osage. Seized as found property.

4:41 a.m. – Caller reported an alarm, 1301 Main St., Sweet Home Liquor. Report taken for criminal mischief. Loss valued at $500.

8:14 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor shot her dog with a BB or pellet, 4400 block of Long. Report taken.

8:19 a.m. – Brandy Lynn Wysong-Frick, 36, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 4680 Long St. Caller had reported a dog ran across the road and jumped him while he was running in the area.

8:58 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle missing, 1200 block of 46th. Report taken.

9:41 a.m. – Caller found items in the car wash bay, 948 Main St. Items seized as found property.

10:34 a.m. – Thomas Edward Light, 33, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 3200 block of Long. Cited and released. Caller had reported a domestic between a male and female walking down the road.

12:05 p.m. – Caller reported that someone took fuel from all vehicles at location, 3200 block of Main. Report taken.

1:48 p.m. – Caller reported that someone took out the post for the cable gate to her property, 50000 block of Osage. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.

3:16 p.m. – Mary Lou Hudson, 63, cited for dangerous left turn in three-vehicle crash, 15th and Main. Other drivers were Natalie Marie Deshazer, 26, and Tracey Dean Redfield, 56. No injuries.

8:12 p.m. – Angel Patricia Geib, 31, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), 1306 22nd Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:14 p.m. – Caller reported finding a cash bag in the parking lot, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Seized as found property.

10:37 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen from her home and tool shed, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken.

11:14 p.m. – Caller reported a male hit her in the face, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Report taken.

Aug. 14

9 a.m. – Daniel Eugene McCarty, 55, arrested on Benton county warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft and on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to appear and for contempt of court, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Also cited for providing false information to a police officer. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:46 a.m. – Caller reported a dog in the neighborhood barking nonstop, 1600 block of Fir. Officer left message for owner of dog.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported a zoning violation, 4800 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

12:15 p.m. – Kasey Wayne Miller, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court, Lebanon. Transported to Linn County Jail on additional warrants.

2:25 p.m. – Caller reported that a male who came to his house looking for cans left his bag there, 1000 block of 22nd. Property seized and returned to owner.

5:06 p.m. – Structure fire, 2200 Tamarack St., former Sweet Home Mill. Report taken for arson. Sweet Home firefighters extinguished fire.

Aug. 13

9:28 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked for six days, 700 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

10:12 a.m. – Caller reported an RV parked in driveway with occupants residing inside, 4000 block of Osage. Referred to code enforcement.

12:37 p.m. – Alicia May Grazer, 37, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and failure to appear on a criminal citation and Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, 1890 Kalmia St., Trail’s End, Apartment 9. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

2:19 p.m. – Marie Therese Ramos, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Pacific Pride. Cited and released.

2:35 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was hit in a parking lot, 900 block of Alder. Report taken for hit and run.

3:02 p.m. – Caller reported finding an iPad, 6000 block of Main. Item seized as found property.

3:19 p.m. – Caller reported females entering the men’s bathroom, 1712 11th Ave., Northside Park. When asked to leave they went into the female bathroom. Caller located pills on the floor and sink. Pills seized for destruction.

4:16 p.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 39, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1200 block of Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:19 p.m. – Caller reported that a male continues to come to his house trying to sell him an alarm system, 4400 block of Live Oak. Caller has told him not to come back. Subject had a valid peddler’s license. Officer warned him not to return to the location.

4:32 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle stolen and debit card used without her permission, 2400 block of Harding. Report taken. Loss valued at $459.54.

6:17 p.m. – Caller reported an air conditioner removed from a window and glass on the floor, 1000 block of 43rd. A bedroom door was kicked in. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

6:41 p.m. – Caller reported almost everything stolen from a produce stand, 2435 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,000.

7:13 p.m. – Kenneth George Adair II, 47, cited for misdemeanor driving while suspended, failure to carry proof of insurance and driving uninsured, 18th and Long.

11:41 p.m. – Caller reported she and her roommate were assaulted, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

Aug. 12

7:56 a.m. – Haillee Jo Daggett, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1203 Long St. While on patrol, an officer had located a vehicle reported stolen from Polk County. Investigation continuing.

8:50 a.m. – Caller reported that “no trespassing” signs were stolen and garbage left at the gate to the Lake Pointe subdivision off Riggs Hill Road. Report taken. Loss valued at $2,600.

10:29 a.m. – Caller reported garbage stacked up against the side of a garage, 1300 block of Hawthorne. Referred to code enforcement.

11:32 a.m. – Caller reported a juvenile hiding in a carport and using a pole to cast fishing line into the road at passing cars, 100 block of 10th. Officer responded and contacted a parent, who would counsel juveniles involved.

2:26 p.m. – Helen Audry Guzman, 34, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 769 Birch St. Transported to Lebanon Police Department. Caller had reported a female yelling at her child and smoking marijuana in front of her child as well.

3:13 p.m. – Callers reported a crash, blocking lanes, 600 block of Main. No injuries. No citations. Drivers exchanged information. Damage appeared less than $1,500.

3:41 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a fraudulent check in the mail. Information noted.

5:16 p.m. – Caller reported a male selling home security door to door and telling people he is associated with the Police Department. Officer contacted the male, who said he told residents that had a license through the Police Department not that he was associated with the Police Department. No further action.

Aug. 11

8:23 a.m. – Caller reported a tree in public right-of-way that needs to be removed, 500 block of Mountain View. Referred to code enforcement.

8:57 a.m. – Caller reported fuel siphoned from her vehicle during the night, 5400 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $16.

10:28 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle in violation of city ordinance, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken. Tagged for removal.

11:06 a.m. – Ann Marie Margaret Freeman, 19, arrested on state warrant for failure to appear on original charge of distribution of meth, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:39 p.m. – Caller reported cars parked in a yard, 1700 block of Tamarack. Referred to code enforcement.

2:01 p.m. – Caller reported an aggressive dog just tried to attack her and her dog, 4500 block of Long. Owner warned for dog at large and not licensing the dog.

2:33 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen from her back porch within the previous two days, 1300 block of 40th. Report taken. Loss valued at $70.

2:55 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor is piling up garbage, and it is attracting mice, 1300 block of Hawthorne. Referred to code enforcement.

3:19 p.m. – Shannon Richards, 42, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:48 p.m. – Caller reported garbage stacked up next to an RV, 900 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

5:01 p.m. – Caller reported trees and briars impeding a clear vision area, 1300 block of 12th. Referred to code enforcement.

5:02 p.m. – Caller reported improper posting of sign, 1300 block of Quince. Sign removed.

7:38 p.m. – Caller reported rotten garbage, 900 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

8 p.m. – Caller reported people living in tents on the creek and having fires at night, 500 block of Surrey Lane. Officer contacted a male, who stated he starts fires to cook. He was advised that no fires are allowed in Linn County right now.

8:05 p.m. – Joshua Robert Tryon, 30, arrested for attempted second-degree theft, 4432 Main St. Caller had reported he received information that a juvenile was at his business trying to cut a chain off a motorcycle for sale that he had chained to a telephone pole. Cited and released.

Aug. 10

3:14 p.m. – Officer picked up two stray dogs and placed them in the kennel, 4100 block of Main.

3:16 p.m. – Caller reported a female taking a watermelon from the front of the store and placing in her vehicle, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at $9.99.

5:35 p.m. – Caller reported males going door to door trying to sell meat, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer contacted two males, who were advised they need a peddler’s license.

7:25 p.m. – Caller reported someone entered his residence and took items within the previous week, 800 block of 14th. Report taken. Loss valued at $720.

7:48 p.m. – Caller reported children witnessed a male get out of a vehicle, cock a gun and get back into the vehicle. Officer responded. No crime at this time. Information noted. Officers would be on the lookout.

7:53 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was in his yard after he returned home and then brought the caller a bag of marijuana, 4200 block of Long. The caller wanted an officer to seize the bag of marijuana and counsel the neighbor. Officer responded and seized the bag of marijuana. The caller and neighbor have been trespassed from each other’s property.

10:04 p.m. – Caller reported a bunch of people used a truck to push a motor home into the blackberries, and they are living there without sewer or water, 1600 block of 13th. The caller also reported they were being super loud. Officer contacted the owner of the RV and advised the owner to keep it down for the night and that they were on private property. The owner agreed to move it by morning.

Aug. 9

8:35 a.m. – Caller said a dog came after them when they rode past a house, 46100 block of the Santiam Highway.

9:57 a.m. – En route for traffic control for a fire, 42000 block of North River. SHPD had eastbound lane closed.

10:17 a.m. – Caller reported security cameras taken, 27900 block of Fern Ridge.

6:30 p.m. – Genaro Ojeda Garcia Jr., 28, cited for driving while suspended and following too closely in two-vehicle crash, Ninth and Main. Second driver was Caleb Jordan Steele, 23. No injuries.

7:13 p.m. – Caller reported a crash in front of his residence, First and Nandina. Officer responded. Not a crash. A tire fell off of the vehicle, and the driver was fixing it.

8:04 p.m. – Andrew Wayne Volkers, 34, arrested for harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:27 p.m. – Brandon Ryan Freeman, 21, arrested for a restraining order violation, 2133 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:27 p.m. – Lacey Marie Nicole Davidson, 36, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 2133 Main St. Cited and released.

Aug. 8

8:38 a.m. – Caller said he was awakened around 1 a.m. by a male who said he was out of gas, 40400 block of Upper Calapooia. The caller gave him some. Around 3 a.m., the man came back and stole two 5-gallon cans from the caller’s truck.

4:29 p.m. – Caller wants to speak to a deputy about his wife’s driving. He was at Holley Market.

Aug. 7

12:30 a.m. – Taillights broken, 28400 block of Ridgeway Rd. Caller had a confrontation with an ex-tenant last night and he thinks that person did it.

6:55 p.m. – Caller in the 42300 block of Bennett said her children were riding go-carts on the road, and the neighbor, who was intoxicated, discharged a firearm at them. This case is an open investigation. A stolen firearm was recovered during the investigation. No arrests had been made as of Aug. 13. The case will be reviewed by the district attorney.

Aug. 6

3:14 a.m. – Caller found a small black dog, 43800 block of Marks Ridge. She thought it may be hurt. The dog was not injured, just scared. The dog is OK.

10:21 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of gas cans, Sunnyside Park.

4:18 p.m. – Chicken complaint, 26300 block of Fern Ridge Rd. Welfare check on chickens and cats. They are all OK, with plenty of feed and water.

Aug. 5

1:48 a.m. – Caller said her nephew was assaulted at a school by another male. They want to press charges.

7:57 a.m. – Caller reported a firearm stolen, 1000 block of Pleasant Valley, approximately two days earlier. Report taken.

2:13 p.m. – Lebanon Fire District requested deputies respond for traffic control. LFD was working on a house fire and shut down McDowell Creek Dr.
