August 16

8:46 a.m. – Cheri Lyn Olson, 49, cited for no valid operator’s license, 12th Ave./Long St.

10:50 a.m. – Caller reported that a woman stuffed several items in her purse and was leaving Thriftway, 621 Main St. Bryanah Paige Tranilla, 28, cited and released for third-degree theft. Cited and released on Albany Municipal Court warrant, also for third-degree theft.

11:37 a.m. – Donald Charles Ackeret, 32, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief and failure to comply on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, 1950 Main St.

12:56 p.m. – Christina Marie Briggs, 29, cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for a false claim, 1950 Main St.

2:13 p.m. – Clifford Lawrence Stoner Jr. cited and released for driving with a suspended license, 400 block Main St. Also cited for failure to install an ignition interlock device.

2:39 p.m. – Deputy responded to a theft on Cascade Timber Consulting property in the 26400 block of Scott Mountain Road. Someone broke into a water tank truck and stole a CB radio and other equipment. About $2,000 in items were missing. Under investigation. Report taken.

4:55 p.m. – Caller requested extra patrol, complaining of speeding Ninja bikes. 42000 block of North River Drive.

11:10 p.m. – Adam Scott Lytle, 36, cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for driving with a suspended license, Main St./23rd Ave.

August 17

10:50 a.m. – Caller located C.G.H.S. Invitational Medal, Juniper/32nd Ct. Placed in Property.

3:57 p.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, failure to appear on an original charge of menacing, and failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft X2, Lebanon Police Department.

9:53 p.m. – Tobias Hunter Rhoads, 23, cited for failure to obey traffic control device, driving with a suspended license, and driving uninsured, Long St./45th Ave.

10:25 p.m. – Caller reported that his boat motor was stolen, 1280 block of Nandina St. Officer responded, report taken for first-degree theft. Approximate value: $1,700.

11:04 p.m. – Callers reported a disturbance in the 2400 block of Main St. Officer responded, Deston McQuistion, 23, cited for second degree disorderly conduct and harassment X3.

August 18

9:36 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious circumstance in 40900 block of Hwy. 228. Male was shooting a pistol on family property and did not notify relatives in advance that this was occurring. The caller did not know what was going on.  

12 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle left in the bushes in a back parking lot of Houck Evarts & Company, LLC, 1327 Long St. Bicycle placed in Property.

1:54 p.m. – Caller reported gas siphoned from vehicle and damaged gas tank, 2200 block of Long St. Report taken for second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief.

1:59 p.m. – Andrew James Frei-tag, 20, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Philomath Police Department.

2:31 p.m. – Caller reported theft of surveying equipment in 43300 block of Marks Ridge Drive/Jones Road. The victim was doing surveying work at the time. Total loss: $600. Report taken.  

5:48 p.m. – Officer located a female trespassing at location, 11th Avenue Northside Park. Cassandra Carey Hotchkiss, 40, cited and released on Albany Municipal Court warrant for first-degree criminal trespass, and cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass.

August 19 

3:14 a.m. – Franklin Joe Whitton, 41, cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for probation violation contempt X3 and Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for resisting arrest, 1300 block of Poplar St.

10:06 a.m. – Stacy Teixeira, 56, cited and released on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a second-degree original charge, 13th Ave./Main St. Also cited for driving with a suspended license.

11:32 a.m. – Linda Anderson, 57, of Brownsville, cited for one count of dog as public nuisance for barking, 38300 block Hwy. 228. Report taken.  

1:37 p.m. – Caller reported shattered passenger window on vehicle, 4800 block of 48th Loop. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief. Approximate value: $250.

1:50 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 28, of Lebanon, arrested for outstanding warrants after deputies responded to a possible illegal burn in the 45900 block of Hwy. 20. Report taken.  

3:06 p.m. – Caller reported her car was broken into over two evenings, parking lot, Thriftway. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree theft.

3:25 p.m. – Earl Ryan Dodge, 27, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, and failure to appear on an original charge of offensive littering, 1950 Main St. Sweet Home Police Department.

8:23 p.m. – Ladonna Gayle Bales, 46, arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene Police Department.

August 20

4:33 a.m. – Brian Lindsay, 33, cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 23rd Ave. near Main St.

10:43 a.m. – Caller reported burglary in 25200 block of McClun Road. Approximately $1,295 worth of power tools were stolen from the shop. Report taken.  

3:11 p.m. – Callers reported a female sitting atop a vehicle stopped in the roadway, 12th Ave/Main St. Cassandra Carey Hotchkiss, 40, cited and released for second-degree disorderly conduct.

4:01 p.m. – Lisa Dawn Johnston, 46, arrested for failure to appear on original charges of second- and third-degree theft, 1950 Main St.

5:43 p.m. – Sheriff’s deputy advised two transients they could not camp on the lakefront, 6300 block of Hwy. 20. They were sent on their way. Large amount of trash in the area near Milepost 32.

5:57 p.m. – Justin Ray Gomez, 29, arrested on Lane County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree identity theft, 60th Ave./Poplar St. Cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for third-degree theft. Adina Marie Collier, 41, cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.

7:05 p.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 32, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of giving false information to a police officer, Oregon State Police.

10:35 p.m. – Sheriff’s deputy located a couple with four children in three tents by the water, 43900 block of North River Drive. Both adults had been drinking and it was not safe for them to drive. Deputy advised them of the rules and told them to pack up in the morning.

10:52 p.m. – Sheriff’s deputy contacted male and female setting up to sleep in a car at Lakeside Park, 1400 block of 60th Ave. They were directed to a free camping site. 

11:10 p.m. – Jordan Eathan Davis, 23, cited for speeding driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, Spoletos.

August 21

2:08 a.m. – David James Kamarec, 25, cited and released on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a citation, 1st/228.

8:47 a.m. – Caller reported someone had broken into his garage and that items were stolen, 400 block of 18th Ave. Officer responded; report taken for first-degree burglary and second-degree theft.

9:33 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle dumped off embankment on Marks Ridge Drive was leaking oil and towed as hazard, 43300 block of Marks Ridge Drive/Jones Drive. DNA samples collected for investigation. Report taken.  

10:51 a.m. – Caller brought in found keys, 8th and Elm. Placed in property.

7:08 p.m. – Michael Dashawn Ferebee, 42, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Main/47th.

7:12 p.m. – James Robert Warrington, 42, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass X2, and failure to appear on an original charge of placing offensive substance in water or on highway, 1100 block of 12th Ave.

August 22

2:07 a.m. – Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 45, cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of a bench warrant X2, PLV Boat Ramp.

9:56 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole two Oregon license plates off a pickup parked on North River Road by Foster Dam. License number is 142MST. Report taken.

2:23 p.m. – Patrick Ferebee, arrested for fourth-degree domestic assault, 200 block 23rd Ave.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke out a vehicle’s rear window between 4 and 4:40 p.m. as they were hiking at McDowell Creek Park in 43100 block McDowell Creek Drive. Tan backpack, camo wallet with makeup and clothes were inside. Estimated cost of missing items $220, cost to replace window estimated at around $500. Report taken.

4:57 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke a vehicle’s rear window at McDowell Creek Park in 43100 block McDowell Creek Drive between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Nothing was taken, but the cost to repair the window was estimated at $1,000. Report taken.

5:36 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle break-in while parked at McDowell Creek Park in 43100 block McDowell Creek Drive. Window valued at $500 was broken and purse valued at $200 stolen. Report taken.

7:48 p.m. – Brandon Watne, 37, of Sweet Home, arrested for failure to appear, 3200 block of S. Santiam Hwy., Lebanon. Report taken.
