Aug. 3

4:52 a.m. – Steven Ray Brown, 31, arrested for reckless driving, driving under the influence and hit and run with an injury and cited for driving while suspended in two-vehicle crash, 18th and Grape. Cited and released. Brown’s vehicle collided with a car parked in a driveway and then through the neighboring front yard to the neighbor’s driveway.

6:52 a.m. – Caller reported a male on a bike carrying a red generator covered by a camo blanket, 12th and Nandina. Report taken. Property seized as evidence.

7:42 a.m. – Caller reported a Honda generator worth $1,100 stolen during the night, Husky Field. Property returned later. Owner did not want to pursue charges.

9:38 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his camper, and items were missing, Camp 4. Report taken. Loss valued at about $200.

11:16 p.m. – Lucian Pop, 31, arrested on Clackamas County warrant for driving under the influence and hit and run, 4713 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:20 p.m. – Caller reported his food card stolen, 1200 block of 13th. Report taken.

Aug. 2

8:25 a.m. – Michael Lee Winfrey, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and charged with two counts of third-degree escape, third-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal trespass and possession of meth. Cited and released.

9:28 a.m. – Richard Lee

Kintzley, 26, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 1140 12th Ave., City Hall.

11:34 a.m. – Caller reported a pickup just knocked the mirror from his vehicle and did not stop, Highway 228 and First. Report taken. Minimal damage. Caller repaired vehicle.

11:39 a.m. – Caller reported that a male keyed her vehicle and sent her a text message bragging about it, 1800 block of Cedar. Report taken. Damage estimated at $400.

12:17 p.m. – Theodore Alfred Burnett, 56, cited for leaking or shifting load, 4700 block of Long. Caller had reported a pickup dropping several windows onto the road, and then a male got out of the pickup and dumped the remaining windows from the vehicle to the roadway. Caller and neighbors cleaned glass from the roadway. Public Works advised.

2:59 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle blocking his driveway, 2000 block of Long. Officer responded. Vehicle was partially blocking the driveway but not enough that it could be towed. Written warning left on windshield for illegal parking.

4:16 p.m. – Gregory Theodore Stubblefield, 33, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, Camp 17. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male slashing her tires.

6:34 p.m. – Garrett Anthony Solis, 19, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, Sweet home Inn.

6:49 p.m. – Troy Lain Heckman, 53, arrested for stalking order violation, Jamboree grounds. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:50 p.m. – Caller reported his wallet stolen from his truck and used at Midway Market.

11:09 p.m. – Caller reported that a male broke his son’s pickup’s windows and stole the caller’s walking stick, 1800 block of Cedar. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.

11:29 p.m. – Marion Lee Gardner, 45, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on two original charges of possession of meth and probation violation.

Aug. 1

12:37 a.m. – Michael John Hoffman, 43, cited for driving while suspended.

1:03 a.m. – Shawn Michael Gali, 37, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, Wooded area north of 900 block of Long.

1:37 a.m. – Officer located a $1 bill by the side of the road, 1200 block of 13th. Placed into evidence.

1:42 a.m. – Blake Andrew Martin, 21, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief.

2:23 a.m. – Joshua Lee Laub, 26, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Main and Wiley Creek. Vehicle impounded.

11:08 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a generator, campground 21. Report taken. Loss valued at $700.

11:51 a.m. – Caller reported four dogs in her backyard, 1000 block of 42nd. Officer responded and couldn’t get dogs to leave the yard. Caller would keep them till Monday and then contact Dog Control.

11:53 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 15th and Long. Dog picked up for Animal Control.

12:08 p.m. – Caller reported damage to her vehicle, 1700 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

2:03 p.m. – Robert Allen Kelley, 25, and John Virgil Benson Jr., 19, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 18th and Long.

2:09 p.m. – Gary Al Belanger, 42, cited for failure to carry current proof of insurance, 2200 block of Main.

2:40 p.m. – Caller reported that a male fell into her vehicle and damaged, Grape and 14th. Information exchanged between parties.

3:03 p.m. – Caller reported a female yelling at her in the parking lot because she left her dog inside her vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer would look out for the female subject.

5:13 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of bicycles from RV 4. Loss valued at $3,500. Report taken.

5:13 p.m. – Alexander Ryan Rogers, 19, and Tanner Boone, 19, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, Jamboree grounds. Trespassed and wristbands cut.

6:30 p.m. – Caller reported finding a wallet on the roadway, 6300 block of Main. Seized as found property.

7:15 p.m. – Seventeen-year-old juvenile cited for minor in possession of alcohol, Long and 42nd.

7:18 p.m. – Caller reported his hammock was taken during the night, Jamboree grounds. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

8:03 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in a vehicle for a half hour with window cracked, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted owner. The dog had water and wasn’t in distress. Owner advised to take precautions in the future.

8:22 p.m. – Caller reported violation of a stalking order, Jamboree grounds.

8:44 p.m. – Gary Gene Townsend, 33, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Main and Ninth. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:03 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen vehicle, 18th and Main. Report taken. Vehicle located later by caller.

9:17 p.m. – Austin Wayne Sater, 26, cited and released in field for disorderly conduct, Jamboree grounds. Trespassed and wristband cut.

9:41 p.m. – Caller reported that someone took his wallet from him at the bank, 1000 block of Main. Report taken.

9:42 p.m. – Tyler Lewis Robertson, 20, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, Jamboree beer garden.

9:54 p.m. – Breanna Lynn Larson, 19, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, Camp 1.

11:02 p.m. – Patricia Yvette Baca, 52, cited for no license, Main and 18th.

11:46 p.m. – Andrew Jay Srp, 31, arrested for fourth-degree assault, Camp 16. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:59 p.m. – Kenneth Josiah Meadors, 35, cited and released in field on a warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Chevron.

July 31

8:28 a.m. – Caller reported a rooster, 100 block of Eighth. Referred to code enforcement.

8:31 a.m. – Thomas Wayne Freeman, 46, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released. Loss valued at $96.70.

9:55 a.m. – Steven Leo Koechig, 63, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

1:01 p.m. – Caller reported a strong sewer smell coming from a backyard, 2300 block of Cedar. Referred to code enforcement.

1:03 p.m. – Caller reported pain medication stolen, 4900 block of Osage. Report taken. Loss valued at $54.

2:07 p.m. – Robert Charles Piper, 55, arrested for harassment, 3224 Main St. Cited and released. Caller reported that a male lifted her shirt to look under it.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole cans from beside his house, 1100 block of 28th. Report taken. Loss valued at $32.

4:10 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home blocking the road, 18th and Willow. No plates. Windows broken out. Vehicle pulled to side of the road due to tow company not being able to tow. Motor home apparently abandoned.

5:51 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle partially blocking her driveway. Caller was uncomfortable backing her vehicle out. The officer backed out her vehicle for her.

6:37 p.m. – Caller reported a male came into the store to return items he stole earlier in the day, 1540 Main St., Safeway. The male ran from the location. Officer unable to locate. Report taken. No monetary loss. Items returned.

7:09 p.m. – Juvenile cited for minor in possession of alcohol, Jamboree grounds.

8:01 p.m. – Leta Janeice White, 25, cited and released in field for driving while suspended and driving uninsured and on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, 18th and railroad tracks. Vehicle impounded.

10:16 p.m. – Caller reported an assault, Jamboree grounds.

10:44 p.m. – Caller reported disorderly conduct, Jamboree grounds.

10:44 p.m. – Caller reported a male came out of a tent naked and screaming at the caller’s girlfriend. Officer responded. Camp security took care of it prior to officer arrival, and the male was fully dressed at that point.

10:47 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle pulled up, stole a cooler and took off, Hawthorne Elementary. Report taken. Loss valued at $80.

July 30

8:46 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle in a driveway with flat tires, and it had been there for a long period of time, 1200 block of 40th. Referred to code enforcement.

8:49 a.m. – Caller reported the neighbor’s dog bit his foot, 1700 block of Grape. Report taken.

11:45 a.m. – Caller reported finding a bicycle frame in the buses, 3200 block of Highway 20. Seized as found property.

12:20 p.m. – Caller reported that someone has been illegally burning and leaving charred material all over the caller’s yard, 100 block of Seventh.

2:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle hit her side mirror while she was parked in the 1200 block of Main. The vehicle continued west on Main. Officer responded. Unclear if it was a hit and run. The driver may not have noticed. Officer contacted the business for which the vehicle was registered. The business would contact the driver and call the officer back. Drivers exchanged information.

4:46 p.m. – Caller reported finding a key with a ring, Foster Lake, Poverty Beach. Seized as found property.

4:46 p.m. – Caller reported finding a white iPhone with a black case, 10th Avenue near Subway. Seized as found property.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported a beer garden on wetlands, Ames Creek at Sankey Park. Officer responded. Caller just wanted to voice his concerns. He would be contacting someone at the federal level. He was provided phone numbers.

6:15 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 18th and Main. Drivers were Jacob Franke, 27, of Bend and Jaimie Griffin, 32, of Sweet Home. Exchanged information. Report taken. No injuries. No citations.

8:19 p.m. – Caller reported finding clothing, a cell phone and a puppy that had been thrown over the fence into her yard, 1530 Tamarack, Mountain Shadows. Clothing seized as found property. Park manager has cell phone. Caller kept the puppy, which was too small for the Police Department’s kennel.

July 29

1:04 p.m. – Caller reported a male stalking her, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Officer will forward to district attorney for review.

2:33 a.m. – Kristopher Moak, 29, arrested for violation of protection order, 1250 Second Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:41 a.m. – Caller reported that a female just smashed a tomato on the caller’s car, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Officer will forward to city attorney for review.

8:29 a.m. – Marion Lee Gardner, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of offensive littering, 12th and Hawthorne. Cited and released.

10:45 a.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 1000 block of 14th. Referred to code enforcement.

12:49 p.m. – Caller reported that a tenant damaged a room, 3026 Main St., Sun Motel. Report taken.

3:33 p.m. – Caller reported a subject against whom she has a restraining order approached her using foul language, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows

4 p.m. – Caller reported a female, who has been trespassed, was at the can machine and refusing to leave, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.

4:13 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male riding a two-person bicycle in front of traffic, 12th and Nandina. Unable to locate.

4:26 p.m. – Caller reported a tree in public right-of-way split and fell into a yard, 300 block of 17th.

4:39 p.m. – Caller reported a female riding a bike, swinging a golf club and acting erratically, 1825 Long St. She attempted to enter the church and told the pastor she belonged there because she paid $3,500 to play the piano. Unable to locate.

5:35 p.m. – Caller reported a male taking an 18-pack of Coors Light, 1540 Main St., Sadfeway. Report taken.

6:43 p.m. – Caller reported gasoline stolen from boat and hoses cut, 1100 block of 23rd. Report taken.

8 p.m. – Caller reported a man took a six-pack and a 40-ounce beer, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

8:01 p.m. – Caller reported a female stealing formula and two packages of meat, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

July 28

8:39 a.m. – A brown and white cow was on a property in the 40600 block of McDowell Creek. It was unknown who owns the cow.

2:56 p.m. – Caller who works for Keller Williams in Eugene said a property in the 40700 block of Country Lane has a foreclosure, and there were three firearms left behind by the previous residents.

3:01 p.m. – Caller reported two wrecked vehicles parked on the street, 1300 block of 19th. Referred to code enforcement.

8:25 p.m. – Jimmy William Alverson, 43, turned in himself on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief.

9:41 p.m. – Caller reported a dog bite, 16th and Elm. Report taken. Victim taken to emergency room.

9:42 p.m. – Amanda June Herbert, 27, cited and released in field for trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

July 27

12:37 p.m. – Caller said a black man was walking around on his property and tried to go inside the caller’s front door.

7:04 p.m. – A white 16-foot inboard-outboard boat was stolen, 40900 block of Hwy 228.

July 25

1:42 p.m. – Caller said there was machine gun fire coming from their neighbor’s place in the 27200 block of High Deck. They are in the middle of a land dispute with their neighbor.

7:46 p.m. – Caller said his tube was taken from the lake at Sunnyside Boat Ramp. It was tied up.

July 24

6:44 a.m. – Several sheep were in the road in the 38600 block of Hwy 228

6:36 p.m. – Caller said an injured sheep was walking along the roadway on Berlin about 1 and half miles east of Bellinger. Deputies were unable to locate the sheep.

9:37 p.m. – Caller said people were lighting fireworks and she was concerned because it is so dry in the field where they were lighting them.

July 23

9:59 a.m. – Caller said a minivan was camped in the 1700 block of Foster Dam for a week. They have been moving from one location to another for a few weeks.

July 22

1:31 a.m. – Caller in the 39600 block of Mountain Home believed there was a person in their eight-horse stall barn. The horses got spooked.

6:30 p.m. – Caller said a trailer and other trash was dumped on her property in the 26700 block of Fern Ridge.

8:32 p.m. – A single vehicle crashed into a field in the 24800 block of West Brush Creek.
