Aug. 14

10:05 a.m. – Mark Christian Leon Kropf, 21, cited for speeding, 40 mph in a 25-mph zone, 22nd Avenue at Husky Field.

10:12 a.m. – Caller found a small dog in the roadway, Mountain Home Drive. Placed in kennel.

10:30 a.m. – Linda Eveleene Kennedy, 26, cited and released in field on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of second-degree theft and probation violation and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation and cited for driving while suspended and failure to wear seatbelt, 18th Avenue at the School District Bus Barn.

1:54 p.m. – Hunter Alexander Olsen, 18, cited for failure to yield prior to entering a roadway in two-vehicle crash, 5400 block of Main. Second driver was Jamison Page Weist, 51.

Aug. 13

4:37 a.m. – Caller reported she swerved to miss a deer and crashed into a ditch, Wiley Creek Drive at the city limits. Driver injured and transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics. No citations.

2:25 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbors are recording the caller without a reason and threatening her, 5600 block of Larch. Information noted to be forwarded to the district attorney.

4:45 p.m. – Jaycee Ryan McClurg, 29, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, Foster Dam parking lot. Cited and released. Also cited for failure to install ignition interlock device, driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle.

5:24 p.m. – Donna Ashley Claxton, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

7:18 p.m. – Caller reported piles of garbage, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Referred to code enforcement.

8:53 p.m. – John Mark Taylor, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:14 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbors let their dog run loose, 900 block of 14th. Caller advised to call when it’s occurring.

Aug. 12

3:56 a.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 40, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1140 12th Ave., City Hall. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:25 a.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

8:57 a.m. – Caller reported a bike and clothing stolen, 4300 block of Main. Report taken.

9:51 a.m. – Caller turned in an Adidas bag found on the back steps of Cornerstone Church, 1234 Long St. Placed in found property.

10:12 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a chainsaw from his garage, 400 block of Mountain View. Report taken. Loss valued at $290.

11:22 a.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft. Cited and released.

12:32 p.m. – Michael John Hoffman, 45, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Linn County Jail.

12:57 p.m. – Jared Michael Elkins, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, Corvallis. Cited and released.

1:01 p.m. – Single-vehicle crash into a fence, 1600 block of Elm. Information exchanged. No injuries. No citations.

4:48 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor choked him, and he had red marks on his throat, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Report taken to be forwarded to city attorney for review.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported that someone has been letting the air out of his tires, messed with his radiator plug and taken tomatoes and potatoes, 5300 block of Main. Information noted.

6:43 pm. – Caller reported a male passed out in the bottle room, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. The male was waking up but had a bump on his head. Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.

6:57 p.m. – Dianna Dee Deshazer, 36, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, 110 W. Holley Road.

Aug. 11

2:24 a.m. – Robert Norman Jaques, 35, arrested on Linn County detention warrant, owed 14 days in jail, and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 13th and Long.

2:50 a.m. – Craig Bruce Adams, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, 1600 block of 18th. Cited and released.

5:10 a.m. – Eugene James May, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on three original counts of third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, Monmouth. Cited and released.

8:06 a.m. – Caller reported that someone opened a bank account in her name, 300 block of West Pine. Information noted.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reported that someone backed into her vehicle, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken. Damage less than $1,500.

10 a.m. – Debra Jean Massey, 58, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of possession of meth, 5400 block of Main.

11:47 a.m. – Caller reported items stolen from his bedroom, 1500 block of Long.

11:49 a.m. – Caller reported damage to a chain link fence, 1150 Elm St., Elm Street Baptist Church. Report taken for hit and run.

12:56 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 22, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Cited and released.

1:12 p.m. – Caller reported that his daughter was bitten by a dog, 4600 block of Highway 20.

3:22 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle damaged while parked, 1010 Main St., A&W. Report taken. Damage less than $1,500.

5:37 p.m. – Todd D. Strickland, 47, cited for driving while suspended, Fourth and Juniper.

6:16 p.m. – Dewayne Lee Edwards, 43, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

8:57 p.m. – Caller reported garden items taken within the past two weeks, 1500 block of 59th. Report taken. Loss valued at $55.

Aug. 10

3:48 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor was hammering and using a power tool in the backyard, 1900 block of Willow. Officer contacted a subject working on a wheelbarrow. The subject was to stop for the night.

9:49 a.m. – John Thomas Bradshaw, 33, arrested for contempt of court, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:07 a.m. – Caller reported finding shipping boxes with addresses from all over the state, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Some were empty. Officer recovered four packages and placed them in found property.

12:14 p.m. – Caller turned in a debit card he found in the roadway, 13th and Main. Placed in found property.

2 p.m. – Caller reported an old pickup with a for sale sign parked in the road for months, 1100 block of 24th. Referred to code enforcement.

4:25 p.m. – Caller reported a travel trailer in the street for more than two weeks, 400 block of Elm. Referred to code enforcement.

7:10 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup tool box stolen, 1400 block of 54th. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

7:19 p.m. – Caller reported a male came into 1203 Long St. saying that people outside threatened to shoot him, and if employees called the police that these people would also come inside and shoot them. Officer responded and took a juvenile into custody for runaway. Juvenile released to Department of Human Services.

8:46 p.m. – Louis Anthony Carreiro, 52, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1123 18th Ave. Cited and released.

9:36 p.m. – Jason Lydell Lingar, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of failure to appear, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Aug. 9

9:27 a.m. – Caller reported a passenger van parked in a side yard for a long period, 1300 block of 22nd. Referred to code enforcement.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reported that neighbors storing vehicles in the backyard took down part of her fence to remove some of the vehicles, 4500 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

10:09 a.m. – Caller said there are people camping on her property and they refuse to leave, 29900 block of Sodaville-Mountain Home. She said she told them they could stay one day and have since moved in several vehicles. When a deputy investigated, there was evidence, including statements from her husband, that they had actually lived there for a year or two. The caller was told she will need to go through the proper eviction process.

10:31 a.m. – Timothy William Roebuck, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for harassment, Linn County. Cited and released.

11:21 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass and berry briers falling into the street, 1900 block of 18th. Referred to code enforcement.

12 p.m. – Vehicle confirmed stolen out of Lebanon was recovered, 44800 block of Quartzville. Report taken.

1:22 p.m. – Caller reported a black and white dog running loose, 1600 block of Long. Officer unable to locate.

1:31 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office requested a Sweet Home officer respond to the area of Eighth and Kessel Hill to dispatch a deer.

1:51 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her shop, 1400 block of Poplar.

1:57 p.m. – Caller had medication stolen from her mail, 25600 block of Brush Creek. She confirmed with the Post Office that it was delivered to her mailbox. Report taken.

4:03 p.m. – Caller reported a male coming to his door and looking for work, 1800 block of Vine. The male seemed suspicious. Officer unable to locate.

4:31 p.m. – Officer found the male from the previous call, 18th and railroad tracks. Male advised he was part of a group selling items. Officer warned him for no peddler’s license.

5:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a male trying to raise funds for college did not have a peddler’s license and seemed suspicious, 700 block of 28th. Officer contacted the male and advised him he needed a permit.

6:38 p.m. – Caden Jason Scotty King, 18, arrested on Linn County warrant for three counts of identity theft, three counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, three counts of second-degree theft and possession of a controlled substance, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:24 p.m. – Caller reported a dog was in her backyard and then running down the street, 1200 block of Fourth. Officer unable to locate.

7:26 p.m. – Caller found a hound dog on her property, 44200 block of McDowell Creek. Report taken.

10:51 p.m. – Caller reported a window in her vehicle was broken, 4100 block of Main. Report taken. Damage estimated at $200.

Aug. 8

7:50 a.m. – Caller’s Friday and Saturday mail was stolen, 41900 block of Marks Ridge. Report taken.

2:04 p.m. – A chainsaw and a rototiller were taken, 38500 block of Mountain Home.

2:11 p.m. – Caller said someone stole caller’s mail on Saturday, 28600 block of Ridgeway. The caller has recovered some. Report taken.

2:17 p.m. – Caller reported a trailer full of garbage parked in front of a garage for more than two months, 1300 block of 47th. Referred to code enforcement.

2:35 p.m. – Caller turned In a piece of mail found in the parking lot, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.

2:43 p.m. – Gary Gean Townsend, 34, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Clackamas County Jail.

7:33 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 800 block of Main. Caller said a white Chevrolet pickup hit his van. He just wanted to exchange information. Report taken.

11:28 p.m. – Jeffrey Zeigler, 59, arrested for first-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief, 5600 Larch St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a neighbor setting her truck on fire.

Aug. 7

11:19 a.m. – Someone dumped tires on a property, 37700 block of Northern. Report taken.

Aug. 6

12:36 p.m. – Caller’s green canoe, two paddles and a life jacket were stolen from Sunnsyide Boat Ramp. The canoe has VCW on it. Report taken.

6:48 p.m. – Caller said a person whom he has a restraining order against pulled up to his house in a vehicle, 48000 block of Highway 20. The person claimed to have to drive by the house because of the detour on Highway 20. The male refused to meet with a deputy in person. Report taken and sent to the DA’s office for review of any violations.

Aug. 5

1:55 p.m. – Caller said a neighbor removed property line stakes that the caller put up, 26200 block of Old Holley. The neighbor said the stakes were on his own property, not the caller’s. Deputy sent a report to the District Attorney’s office to review for charges, if any.

6:56 p.m. – An ounce of marijuana was found on July 30 at Sunnyside Park. Report taken.

7:46 p.m. – A fifth-wheel hitch, speakers and gas were taken from a truck, 45900 block of Santiam Hwy. Report taken.

8:05 p.m. – A purse was taken from a vehicle, 44800 block of Quartzville.

9:18 p.m. – Curtis Dotson, 29, arrested for harassment, interfering with making a report, first-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree domestic assault, 28500 block of Santiam Hwy. Caller had reported he got into an argument with his parents and allegedly shoved them and took their their phone to prevent them from calling 9-1-1.

Aug. 4

1:48 a.m. – Caller said he found a male, who was wearing an orange hoodie, come out of the ranger residence at Sunnyside Park. He took off on a bicycle through the woods.

7:18 a.m. – Caller found two Australian shepherds on Highway 228 between Holley School and Holley Church. One is a red tri-color and the other is a black tri-color.

9:19 a.m. – Caller said he believes his ex-wife has been actively searching for a hit man to kill him, 44000 block of Wiley Creek. The information he had was a couple of years old, and his ex wife lives in a different state. There was no evidence of a crime. He was advised to contact the state she lives in if he really felt she was going to take a “hit” out on him as the crime would occur in that state.

Aug. 3

11:35 a.m. – Caller said her wedding and engagement rings were stolen while she was at Sunnyside Park during the previous weekend. Report taken.

11:50 a.m. – Caller said two transients are camping in the woods, 28800 block of Weatherly. He wanted a deputy to ask them to leave because they ignored him when he asked.

12:43 p.m. – Caller’s neighbor stole a plant stand out of her yard, in the 27600 block of Riggs Hill Rd. She could see the plant stand in her neighbor’s yard.
