5:23 a.m. – Caller reported glass in her back door was broken out, 5600 block of Larch. Information noted.

Aug. 11

12:19 a.m. – Shannon Marie Richards, 46, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended and cited for driving while suspended, Shea Point.

5:16 a.m. – Cathy Ann Smith, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, Albany.

10:36 a.m. – Cody Jones, 38, cited for driving uninsured, 1800 block of Main.

11:51 a.m. – Caller reported a female was blocking street parking with barricades, 1300 block of Sunset. Officer contacted the female and advised her of the city codes. She removed the barricades.

12:22 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked on the street for an extended period, 1300 block of Sunset. Vehicle posted for removal.

1:14 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on two males who appeared to be unresponsive in a vehicle, 1900 block of 12th. Officer drove by and witnessed one male moving around in a vehicle and multiple subjects taking off running into a residence.

1:29 p.m. – Dawn Bender, 42, arrested for possession of meth and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 1220 23rd Ave.

1:41 p.m. – Caller reported possible harassment by one child toward another, 44200 block of North River. Report taken.

4 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs running loose, 800 block of Elm. Officer unable to locate.

9 p.m. – Caller reported a non-injury crash, 25300 block of Brush Creek. Driver had a tow en route, flashers on and flagging.

Aug. 10

1:04 a.m. – Report taken for a domestic dispute between a husband and wife, 44900 block of Quartzville.

3:32 a.m. – Caller reported a female not known to him climbed through his window and was lying on the floor talking about delusions, 900 block of Main. Officer contacted the female, who was intoxicated. Medics evaluated the female. She was not in need of transport to the hospital. The female’s mother picked her up and took her home.

4:36 a.m. – Caller reported seeing a male climb into a boat parked at Sun Motel, 3026 Main St. Officer contacted the male and the registered owner of the boat. The male was related to the registered owner, who had given the male permission to sleep in the boat.

2:25 p.m. – Caller reported that a male threatened him after he pushed away his friend’s dog, which was trying to attack the caller’s dog, 1400 block of 22nd. Officer contacted all involved. No dogs were injured. The male was warned for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported multiple bullet casings on the ground next to the swing set, Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Officer located various casings and disposed of them.

4 p.m. – Caller reported that a white Chevrolet pickup towed a black Nissan pickup to location and left it, 2200 block of Long. Vehicle posted for removal.

4:51 p.m. – Tammy Bilyeu, 59, cited for driving uninsured, and Andrea Gali, 39, Bradford Bennett, 64, and David Mason, 46, cited for failure to wear seatbelt, 18th and Long.

5:03 p.m. – Caller reported a dog had been in a vehicle all day barking and the window was down, 1200 block of 23rd. Caller did not know if it had water. Officer responded. Dog was not in distress but was territorial with the vehicle. Officer contacted a responsible person who had been checking on the dog periodically. The responsible person gave the dog more water.

6:44 p.m. – Caller reported four to five males got out of a vehicle and pushed a male off his bike, Oak Terrace and Highway 228. Officer unable to locate.

7:02 p.m. – Caller found a needle in a parking lot, 800 block of Mountain View. Officer disposed of the item.

9:21 p.m. – Kenneth Todd Smalley, 38, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and cited for driving while suspended, open container and failure to carry proof of insurance, 9th and Nandina. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:21 p.m. – Franklin Archie Thompson, 45, arrested for fourth-degree assault and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 41200 block of Highway 228. Caller had reported a neighbor assaulted her a day earlier causing a minor injury.

Aug. 9

10:47 a.m. – Caller reported that he was away for a couple of days and when he returned he found rocks piled on his vehicle and driveway, 1200 block of 46th. Information noted.

11:50 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of propane, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. While officer was at location, a subject returned to pay for the propane. The subject said he had forgotten to pay and didn’t realize it until later.

12:18 p.m. – Caller reported a window in her fifth-wheel was broken, 47500 block of Cascadia Drive. Report taken for criminal mischief.

12:22 p.m. – Caller reported a hole cut in the fence, 3210 Main St., Cascade Timber Consulting. Information noted. The caller will report back if located on surveillance.

1:07 p.m. – Macayla Marie Jimenez, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of theft by receiving, Linn County.

1:24 p.m. – Officers assisted medics with an unconscious 30-year-old male who fell off his bike, which possibly was drug-induced, 1700 block of 11th. No patient transport to the hospital.

2:32 p.m. – Lawrence Edward Lamberson, 45, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving uninsured and cited for driving while suspended, Sun Lane and Highway 20.

2:44 p.m. – Darin Strickland, 50, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, and Cheyanna Nickole Morse, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Lebanon. Strickland transported to Linn County Jail.

3:56 p.m. – McKenzie Jacob Sullivan, 26, cited for failure to renew registration, 49th and Long.

4:42 p.m. – Caller reported that a female came by the caller’s house a week earlier in violation of a stalking order, 1900 block of 19th. Not a violation. Officer advised the caller to report violations sooner.

5:34 p..m. – Caller reported a male walking in the middle of the road with his arms out attempting to stop traffic, 2400 block of Main. Officer contacted the male on the sidewalk and warned him for unlawful hitchhiking.

5:45 p.m. – Caller reported a black Lab running loose, 18th and Ames Creek. Officer unable to locate.

8:27 p.m. – Michell Dawn Slay, 31, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Prineville.

8:41 p.m. – Charles Marvel, 17, cited for no license and failure to carry proof of insurance, Highway 228 and Main.

8:45 p.m. – Caller reported her two daughters damaged her vehicle, 2900 block of Foothills. Information noted at caller’s request.

8:58 p.m. – Caller reported a dog had been barking constantly for four hours even though the owners seemed to be home, 1200 46th. Officer responded. Quiet upon arrival.

Aug. 8

6:19 a.m. – Neil David VanEpps, 30, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 18th and Main.

8:42 p.m. – Caller reported sleeping in her pickup at a job site, 5526 Poplar St., Foster Elementary School. Report taken for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree burglary. The burglary occurred at Foster.

9:02 a.m. – Caller reported a male came with a skate board and a receipt in his hand with no other merchandise, 1937 Main St., Dollar General. The male came back to the register with a pack of diapers and said he wanted to exchange them. The caller refused and told him he didn’t purchase the diapers. The subject walked out. The incident was recorded on video. The male was last seen eastbound on a skateboard. Report taken.

11:37 a.m. – Melony Irene Shockman, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Dallas.

12:29 p.m. – Chavana Ann Bowser, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of heroin, Linn County warrants for two counts of failure to appear, Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft and Marion County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:50 p.m. – Caller reported his checks are being cashed at multiple locations in Sweet Home. Report taken.

2:41 p.m. – Vicki Lyn Bauer, 51, arrested for harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:07 p.m. – Lawrence Glenn Mahlberg, 55, arrested for attempt to commit private indecency, attempted prostitution and using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park.

10:11 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was hit by another while parked then the driver left the scene, Foster Lake Market. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

10:30 p.m. – Report taken for a prowler, Doe Mountain Road and Highway 20.

Aug. 7

12:48 a.m. – Caller reported that a male cut the rope to the flag pole and took it, 5300 Poplar St., Foster Post Office. Report taken.

1:04 a.m. – Caller reported a female was acting out and tearing up the bar, and a second caller reported a bartender threatened his wife, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Report taken for harassment and forwarded to city attorney for review.

6:18 a.m. – Maylene Gale Flanigan, 50, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply and failure to appear on a criminal citation, 2424 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:52 a.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping in the garage area, 1575 Main St., Chamber of Commerce. Officer contacted the female, who was to move on shortly. Caller did not want the female trespassed.

8:59 a.m. – Caller reported that someone set up camp and was sleeping under the railroad trestle, end of Steelhead Lane. Officer contacted a male and advised him it was private property. He moved on.

9:08 a.m. – Caller reported someone knocked over a flower pot and broke it, 1100 block of Long. Report taken.

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported a female came into her house uninvited, 1400 block of 13th. Officer responded. Female trespassed and given a bus ticket.

10 a.m. – Caller reported his phone was stolen, 900 block of Nandina. Officer responded. Phone located and returned to owner.

10L57 a.m. – Caller found a cell phone, 44th and Airport. Placed in found property.

11:32 a.m. – Caller reported a female was sleeping on the ground, 1700 block of Fir. Officer responded. Female was sleeping on the sidewalk and not trespassing.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported 12 cows at large on the caller’s property, 42600 block of Ames Creek. Owner warned for livestock at large.

1:07 p.m. – Bradley Marion Pugh, 35, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and Albany warrant for failure to appear, 1200 block of 12th. Cited and released.

1:51 p.m. – Tyler Scott Price, 29, arrested for felony possession of heroin, failure to register as a sex offender, failure to carry and present, attempting to elude on foot, Sweet Home warrant for second-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on two criminal citations, Marion County warrant for second-degree theft and Washington County warrant for failure to appear on two counts of second-degree theft, third-degree theft, interfering with a police officer and providing false information to a police officer and cited for driving while suspended, 1300 block of 18th. Cited and released.

3:13 p.m. – Caller reported a parked vehicle was hit by another and the driver left the scene, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $250.

3:42 p.m. – Caller turned in items found at the new City Hall, 3225 Main St. Placed in found property.

5:03 p.m. – Caller reported litter on Turbyne Road in front of the Cascade Timber Consulting gate. Deputies located a suspect. Investigation continuing.

5:08 p.m. – Caller reported seeing a male kick and yell at a dog, 6000 block of Main. Officer unable to locate male or dog.

6 p.m. – Wendy Earline Horner (Branson), 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended.

7:14 p.m. – Caller reported that she accidentally left a phone on the counter at McDonald’s, 2000 Main St. When she called the business back, surveillance footage showed the phone being taken by an unknown person soon after the caller left. Report taken. Loss valued at $900.

7:46 p.m. – Caller turned in syringes he found, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Officer seized them for destruction.

8:38 p.m. – Joseph Lee Shores, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, Corvallis.

10:43 p.m. – Aron Van Dijk, 36, cited for driving while suspended, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

11:02 p.m. – Heather Fagan, 28, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of identity theft and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two original counts of providing false information to a police officer, 13th Avenue near the Sweet Home Public Library.

11:28 p.m. – David Samson, 58, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

11:44 p.m. – Jacob Richardson, 23, arrested for driving under the influence, 1900 block of Long. Cited and released.

Aug. 6

7:47 a.m. – Caller reported two loose dogs in the area, 1300 block of 54th. Dogs returned to owner. She said she would keep them in the house.

7:52 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken. Loss valued at $900.

8:53 a.m. – Caller reported a back door and sliding door on a vacant house were open, 800 block of Alder. Officer responded and secured the residence. Officer left a business card inside.

9:02 a.m. – Caller found an ID card, 5300 block of Poplar. Placed in found property.

9:09 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his red Trek 21-speed mountain bike, 45900 block of Highway 20. Report taken. Loss valued at $600.

9:31 a.m. – Joseph Martin Wagner Sr., 66, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to register as a sex offender, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

11:09 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs at large, Long and 45th. Officer unable to locate.

11:15 a.m. – Caller reported a white van parked for about a month, 5500 block of Poplar. Vehicle posted for removal.

11:40 a.m. – Casey Mitchell Reynolds, 21, cited for speeding, 60 mph in a 45-mph zone, 4700 block of Main.

11:47 a.m. – Caller reported that the expiration tags on her license plate were stolen, 28200 block of Scott Mountain. Report taken.

11:51 a.m. – Caller reported a male slumped over in a vehicle with the door partially open, 32nd and Juniper. Officer contacted the male, who was on his phone.

12:45 p.m. – Caller reported an RV parked on the street for about a month, 100 block of Hawthorne. Officer contacted the owner, who agreed to move it.

2:37 p.m. – Caller found a driver’s license, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Placed in found property.

3:08 p.m. – Caller reported an RV trailer parked on the street for more than three weeks, 4600 block of Mahogany. Officer contacted the owner, who agreed to move it.

4 p.m. – Jeffrey Jerome Kessinger, 51, arrested for strangulation and harassment, 1111 Nandina St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a female screaming for help.

4:05 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at large, 800 block of 5th. Officer unable to locate.

4:15 p.m. – Melissa Jean Ackley, 41, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

6:48 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked behind 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market, that appeared to be abandoned. The caller said she could hear dogs inside. Officer responded. Information noted. The motor home did not appear abandoned. It had a generator running. Officer to notify property owners.

8:33 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Placed in found property.

11:15 p.m. – Caller reported a male threw punches at another male, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Officer responded. One male left prior to officer arrival. The victim refused to identify himself and did not want to pursue charges. No injuries. All subjects left the area.

11:36 p.m. – Caller reported a verbal disturbance between two males and it appeared that one male pointed a pistol at the other, 800 block of 18th. Officer checked area thoroughly. Unable to locate anyone in the area.

Aug. 5

7:33 a.m. – Autumn Lyn Keller, 24, cited for speeding, 41 mph in a 25-mph zone, 1700 block of Main.

8:26 a.m. – Caller reported his backpack containing a firearm was stolen from his campsite, Oregon Jamboree Campground 10. Report taken. Loss valued at $600.

9:46 a.m. – Caller reported two loose dogs wandering the area, 5300 block of Main. Officer located the owner of the dog and warned her for dogs at large. Owner working with landlord to figure out a solution to keep the dogs in.

10:16 a.m. – Caller found two cell phones at McDonald’s, 2000 Main St. Placed in found property.

10:37 am. – Caller found a loose dog at Oak Heights, 605 Long St. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.

10:40 a.m. – Caller saw a dog running down the street, 40th and Long. Officer located a stray dog that did not match the description. Officer unable to catch the dog. Unknown if it was the same dog.

2:13 p.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 48, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County.

5:08 p.m. – Caller reported that people continue to break into her house even after she took measures to stop it, 300 block of 7th. Officer responded. Information noted for extra patrol.

6:20 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole three packs of Hurricane beer from the front of his pickup, 4800 block of Main. Officer contacted the caller, who was intoxicated. Neighbors believe the caller either drank the beer or misplaced it.

8:17 p.m. – Caller reported that a male walked into her residence and when he noticed people inside, he took off running, got into a two-tone brown minivan last seen westbound on Main, 1000 block of Nandina. Officer unable to locate the subject or the vehicle.

8:33 p.m. – Caller reported possible stolen property stashed beneath the wood deck at Shea Point. Officer located what appeared to be a camp. Officer to check back later for a person.

9:18 p.m. – Jeffery Dale Sizemore, 39, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 26200 block of Fern Ridge.
