Aug. 21

6:30 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog broke her fence, got into her yard and killed her rabbit, 1800 block of Kalmia. Caller did not want to pursue charges. Dog owner counseled for dog at large.

2 p.m. – Holly Ann Smith, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 921 Oak Terrace. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Aug. 20

8:59 a.m. – Franklin Claybon Edwards, 43, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation, Ninth and Poplar. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:32 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog running loose and attacking her dogs in her yard, 900 block of 14th. Officer contacted owner and advised him to keep his dogs on his own property.

9:38 a.m. – Nicole Matney, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Prineville. Cited and released.

12:27 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a package Amazon delivered on Aug. 16, 1300 block of First. Report taken. Loss valued at $26.

4:06 p.m. – Elijah James Powell, 33, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 6000 block of Main. Caller had reported locating her stolen vehicle. Vehicle returned to owner.

5:35 p.m. – Ashleigh Lorena Pollard, 22, cited for speeding, 56 mph in a 25-mph zone.

7:42 p.m. – David Duane Phillips, 61, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended and probation violation and Linn County warrant for possession of meth, driving while suspended, open container in a vehicle, failure to use seatbelts and driving uninsured, 2456 Long St. Cited and released.

9:29 p.m. – Caller reported that a female stole a fountain soda after he refused to sell her alcohol because she was intoxicated, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken.

10:53 p.m. – Daniel Wayne Sutton, 24, arrested for felony fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), strangulation (domestic violence), harassment (domestic violence) and second-degree criminal mischief, Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of disorderly conduct and probation violation and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to appear, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Caller had reported a disturbance between a male and female.

Aug. 19

1:42 a.m. – Caller reported her dogs ran away and she was unable to catch them, Long and 43rd. Officer located both dogs and returned them to the owner.

11:42 a.m. – Travis Gary Hummer, 30, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charge of driving while suspended and probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence; Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended; Corvallis warrant for probation violation on original charges of absconding and driving under the influence; and Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on a criminal citation and contempt of court on original charge of probation violation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

12:05 p.m. – Caller reported a customer purchased tires on an account he was not authorized to use for a vehicle not on the account, 1707 Main St., Les Schwab Tire Center. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,300.

7:23 p.m. – Faith May Wilson, 27, arrested for attempted second-degree criminal mischief, 1120 Ironwood St. Cited, held for detox and released.

7:47 p.m. – Steven Edward Grimm, 46, cited for driving while suspended, Main St., Market.

8:21 p.m. – Landon Frank Gerard, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, Eugene. Cited and released.

8:43 p.m. – Breanna Marie Mansell, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1203 Long St., All Star Pizza. Cited and released.

8:43 p.m. – Crystal Chantel Dawn Schatz, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 1203 Long St., All Star Pizza. Cited and released.

9:58 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog was loose, 1300 block of 43rd. Officer returned dog to owner’s son and warned him for dog at large.

10:58 p.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of interfering with a peace officer, 2456 Long St. Cited and released.

Aug. 18

12:06 a.m. – Caller reported that a female just dropped a bunch of garbage on the ground, 4600 block of Main. Officer unable to locate female. Officer picked up the trash and disposed of it.

8:05 a.m. – Caller reported finding a machete stuck in the middle of the park, 1712 11th Ave., Northside Park. Machete seized.

8:14 a.m. – Avery Faye Brandenberg, 36, arrested on Eugene warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Lane County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of giving false information to a police officer, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:43 a.m. – Caller found a yellow lab wandering the street, 12th and Main. Dog returned to owner.

8:52 a.m. – Kirsty Lynn Keenon, 37, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 1326 43rd Ave. Caller had reported a neighbor’s pit bull at the caller’s house again. Officer returned dog to owner.

10:41 a.m. – Caller reported that she has had six cats come up missing in the past five months, 700 block of Long. Information noted.

11:14 a.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s blackberries coming over the fence, and the lawn has not been cut, 4900 block of Maple. Referred to code enforcement.

12:58 p.m. – Caller reported that an ex-boyfriend stole the caller’s notebook tablet, 4600 block of Highway 20. Report taken. Loss valued at $40.

2:03 p.m. – Caller found a bicycle in alley behind building, 1313 Main St., The New Era. Bike placed in found property.

9:17 p.m. – Caller reported a black dog running at large and acting aggressively, 500 block of 10th. Officer unable to locate the dog.

Aug. 17

12:16 a.m. – Steven Edward Grimm, 46, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear, and Ronald Eugene Olivier, 48, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market. Grimm transported to Linn County Jail, and Oliver transported to Lebanon Police Department.

1:36 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 22, cited and released in field for criminal trespass, and Samantha Leean Stotz, 25, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Stotz cited and released.

1:15 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds, 300 block of Ninth. Referred to code enforcement.

2:11 p.m. – Village of Hartland, Wis., Police Department reported custodial interference, 1200 block of 23rd. Report to be forwarded to district attorney for review.

6:28 p.m. – Caller reported that a juvenile male has been messing around on her property, told the caller that he urinated on her cat and has made statements about killing neighborhood animals, 900 block of Grape. Juvenile trespassed and counseled on actions.

8:10 p.m. – Caller reported a group of teenagers started a small fire on top of a picnic table, Sankey park. Officer found small bits of burned plastic on top of the table. No one was around.

Aug. 16

3:48 a.m. – Taiza Renae Tagen, 20, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin, Marion County warrant for possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for driving while suspended, Spruce and 12th. Cited and released.

7:39 a.m. – Caller reported that two dogs charged at a female walking her dogs, 5300 block of Poplar. Officer wasn’t able to contact the homeowner. Dogs were loose but on the property.

9:20 a.m. – Caller reported a snowmobile and junk in a side yard, Eighth and Dogwood. Referred to code enforcement.

10:07 a.m. – David Sandoval-Arroyo, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for probation violation and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

11:15 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a package on Aug. 10, 43000 block of North River. Report taken.

12:16 p.m. – Kelly Bennett Taylor-Harp, 54, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree theft, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Cited and released.

2:44 p.m. – Caller found a child’s bike in a parking lot, 899 Main St. Placed in found property.

3:52 p.m. – David Wayne Samson, 55, cited for driving while suspended, 1037 15th Ave.

5:46 p.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for third-degree theft, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Cited and released.

5:52 p.m. – Caller reported that his brother-in-law’s boat was stolen and he was on the water behind the people who took it, 30200 block of Craig Ln. They were getting ready to pull into the boat launch. Report taken.

7:51 p.m. – Van Jerome Potts, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and a new charge of possession of meth, 1800 block of 18th. Cited and released.

7:53 p.m. – Theresa Christine Alberts, 28, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp.

8:21 p.m. – Sirena Marie Patricio, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for first-degree theft and 14 counts of identity theft and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Ashbrook Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:33 p.m. – Heather Dean Church, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Cited and released.

9:40 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in front of a neighbor’s house and then slowly driving away and braking in front of several other houses, 27th and Foothills. Officer contacted driver who was playing Pokemon Go. Caller advised.

11:19 p.m. – Caller reported that a male tried to enter her house through an open door, 4100 block of Long. Officer contacted the male and advised him he was trespassed from the caller’s residence. Case to be forwarded to city attorney for review.

Aug. 15

8:44 a.m. – Caller reported that someone bought a computer from him online, but the bank account was fake, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Investigation continuing.

3:01 p.m. – Ronald Ray Nipp, 78, cited and released in field for initiating a false report, O’Reilly’s.

3:09 p.m. – Caller said he thought some of his mail had been stolen, and when he got home, there was a plastic bag in his mailbox with all his mail opened, 26300 block of Old Holley.

4:43 p.m. – Mason William Monroe, 23, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1300 Clark Mill Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:43 p.m. – Melissa Leann Weber, 44, cited and released in field on Philomath warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, 1237 Nandina St.

Aug. 14

12:24 p.m. – A section of caller’s fence was cut sometime within the last three months, 47700 block of Quartzville. Report taken.

2:50 p.m. – Caller found a cell phone in the roadway, 5400 block of Main. Placed in found property.

3:01 p.m. – Ladonna Gayle Bales, 40, on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original third-degree theft, Eugene.

4:55 p.m. – Caller said her parents injured her and then left her at Sunnyside Park. Report taken.

8:25 p.m. – Stacy Manuel Tiexeira, 51, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 18th and Long.

10:05 p.m. – Caller reported windows broken in a new vacant home, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken.

Aug. 13

7:25 p.m. – Caller reported a possible drunk driver parked on the side of the road, 40900 block of Skyline Rd. He was slumped over, sleeping or passed out near rock pit across from Skyline. Report taken.

7:59 p.m. – Caller reported that his mailbox was damaged when deputies were chasing someone earlier that day, 1000 block of North River. Report taken.

Aug. 12

9:11 a.m. – Caller’s mail was stolen out of her mailbox, 40100 block of Upper Calapooia. The mail was gone through, ripped up and put into a mailbox a few miles away.

4:24 p.m. – Caller called in to report a violation of the restraining order he has against his wife. She texted him while he was working. Report taken.

3:53 p.m. – Caller reported bills stolen, in the 28100 block of Santiam Hwy.

Aug. 11

3:43 p.m. – Caller believes someone may be stealing her mail and her neighbors’ mail, 26800 block of Greenville. The caller found some letters that have been opened on her property.

4:27 p.m. – Mail theft was reported, 42900 block of Green River.

Aug. 10

8:55 a.m. – Caller reported squatters in the area and wanted law enforcement officers to check it out, 47000 block of Highway 20.

11:12 a.m. – Caller said sometime during a civil standby in July that the other party took a computer and pawned it off to Ace Buyers in Albany, 48000 block of Highway 20.

7:46 p.m. – Caller reported a house was broken into and items were taken, 48000 block of Highway 20. Report taken.
