12:45 a.m. – Ashley Kay Miles, 28, arrested on Linn County warrants for five counts of failure to appear and a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, Main and Osage. Transported to Linn County Jail.
2:40 a.m. – Evalee Lynn Duncan, 48, turned in herself on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
Aug. 20
12:36 a.m. – Caller reported that neighbors were throwing rocks at his house, keeping him awake, 1100 block of 28th. Officer contacted two juveniles who admitted to throwing the rocks. No known damage was caused. Officer counseled the juveniles for their actions.
4:57 a.m. – Officer located a fuel card, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Placed in found property.
9:01 a.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male parked his motorcycle in front of the exit and peed on a bush near the building, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer checked the area and located a male having a mental health episode. The male was transported to the hospital by medics. Motorcycle secured at the scene.
10:18 a.m. – Caller reported that a female was hitting herself with a stick and then was lying in the roadway, 12th and Juniper. Officer contacted a female who advised that she was measuring trees for the eclipse. She denied the allegations and did not appear to be a danger to herself or others.
2:33 p.m. – Caller reported that his bicycle was stolen from the back of his truck, 1300 block of 13th. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.
2:44 p.m. – Justin Allen Knowles, 22, cited for speeding, driving uninsured and expired registration, 1st and Main.
10:12 p.m. – Officer located a bicycle, Husky Field. Placed in found property.
Aug. 19
12:20 a.m. – Bryce Taylor Keen
on, 21, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 4194 Osage St. Cited and released.
5:05 a.m. – Caller located a bicycle in a ditchCaller gave no further information and left prior to talking with an officer. Bike placed in found property.
8:58 a.m. – Caller reported that someone left a bicycle on the sidewalk, 800 block of 2nd. Placed in found property.
12 p.m. – Caller found a syringe, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer disposed of syringe.
1:33 p.m. – Jose Luis Garcia Guijon, 29, cited for no license, 12th and Osage.
4:26 p.m. – Caller reported that a female sleeping on the sidewalk cussed at his children as they walked by, 900 block of Main. Officer contacted the female and advised her of the complaint. She was warned for trespass based on the building owner’s request.
5:14 p.m. – Officer located a vehicle parked on the sidewalk, Main and Clark Mill. Vehicle impounded.
6:57 p.m. – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle reported stolen from Sweet Home.
7:50 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, Ironwood and 4th. A driver backed into a parked vehicle. Report taken. Damage less than $1,500. Parties exchanged information.
9:24 p.m. – Oregon State Police arrested Donald Ray Watkins, 53, on Sweet Home warrant for negotiating a bad check. Cited and released.
Aug. 18
2:40 a.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 29, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of menacing, 12th near Chewy’s.
6:54 a.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping in a white van in the parking lot, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Officer contacted a female and her granddaughter, who were visiting friends and decided not to drive during the night. She moved along.
10:13 a.m. – Oregon State Police arrested John Paul Short, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. Cited and released.
10:59 a.m. – Caller located a bag of pills, Sankey Park. Property seized.
2:34 p.m. – Caller reported taking counterfeit $20 bills, 1030 Long St., Cascade Cleaners. Report taken.
3:55 p.m. – Caller reported someone living in a trailer, 1200 block of 41st. Referred to code enforcement.
