Aug. 28

12:12 a.m. – Caller reported that someone slashed his vehicle tires, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Report taken.

1:43 a.m. – Jeremy Joseph McCormick, 40, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, 1234 Main St. Cited and released.

2:16 a.m. – Konane N. Leslie, 22, arrested for driving under the influence, driving while suspended and a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended; and Jesse Aaron Ford, 26, cited and released in field on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 49th and Airport.

8:18 a.m. – Caller reported catching a female red-nosed pit bull that was running loose, 4100 block of Osage. Placed in kennel.

Aug. 27

12:22 a.m. – Paul William Kalina, 41, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 18th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:37 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a purse from the kitchen, and then located it later with the cash removed, 880 18th Ave., Sweet Home Senior Center. Report taken.

5:10 p.m. – Caller reported that a male who had been trespassed was in the bottle room, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken for criminal trespass.

5:48 p.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 52, arrested on two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

8:19 p.m. – Michelle Kimberly Ray, 26, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County warrant for two counts of possession of meth and contempt of court, 47th Avenue.

9:08 p.m. – Seasons Nicole Washington, 33, cited for driving while suspended, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

9:16 p.m. – Leslie Michelle Gerard, 37, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, and Landon Frank Gerard, 40, arrested on warrants for failure to appear on two counts of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, Sixth and Ironwood. Both transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported people in the church parking lot looking into a car with a flashlight.

10:52 p.m. – Stormy Allison Batchelor, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

Aug. 26

8:04 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, Dutch Bros. Dog returned to owner.

8:53 a.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s chickens were coming over the fence and eating the caller’s flowers, 400 block of Nandina. Referred to code enforcement.

10:48 a.m. – Caller reported her door was jammed and naughty things written on her windows, 5300 block of Main. Report taken.

12:51 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a chainsaw, 1300 block of 44th. Report taken. Loss valued at $119.

1:27 p.m. – Crystal Ray Sevak, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

1:36 p.m. – Caller found a small dog running in the roadway, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Dog placed in kennel.

6 p.m. – Caller found a wallet at Foster Lake. Placed in found property.

8:12 p.m. – Kelly Bennett Taylor-Harp, 54, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Cited and released. Taylor-Harp had reported the theft of a phone. Report taken. Loss valued at $40.

8:22 p.m. – Julia Ann Parker, 57, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

10:05 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s dog barking, 100 block of 10th. Owner returned and put dogs in the house.

10:19 p.m. – Jesse Jacob Whitebird, 20, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, driving while suspended and probation violation, 1610 Elm St. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

10:44 p.m. – Luke Kenneth Buehner, 32, arrested on state warrant for parole violation on original charge of fraud, impersonation, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:49 p.m. – Caller reported that someone hit a mailbox and dragged it down the road, 4300 block of Main. Report taken for hit and run.

Aug. 25

1:19 a.m. – Robert Aaron Davis, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis. Cited and released.

3:14 a.m. – Obediah J.J. Teixeira, 37, arrested for driving under the influence, 712 12th Ave. Cited and released.

9:09 a.m. – Caller reported that one of her tenants had a gas can and possibly a dog stolen, 400 block of Maple. Report taken. Loss valued at $40.

12:53 p.m. – Blake Andrew Martin, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

4:11 p.m. – Allen Joseph Hall Jr., 38, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, 6281 Main St.

5:18 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her home while she was away, 1300 block of 47th. Report taken. Loss valued at $189.

5:55 p.m. – Caller reported a wallet stolen, 1100 block of 32nd. Report taken. Loss valued at $270.

3:17 p.m. – Ashley Mae Waters, 26, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of third-degree theft and probation violation, 4402 Live Oak.

7:55 p.m. – Andrew Wayne Volkers, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 1131 32nd Court. Cited and released.

10:27 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a cell phone, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

Aug. 24

1:08 a.m. – Caller reported dogs barking for the past two hours, 1400 block of 22nd. Officer attempted to contact owner, but was unsuccessful.

7:49 a.m. – Lucas Neil Riley, 37, arrested for possession of meth and cited for driving while suspended, Foster Dam Road and North River Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:13 a.m. – Kyle Scott Traxtle, 24, arrested for third-degree theft, fourth-degree assault, possession of meth, possession of heroin, disorderly conduct and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:52 a.m. – Caller reported a blue truck full of garbage parked for more than a week, 1100 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.

11:45 a.m. – Caller located a dog in the road, Mountain View. Dog placed in kennel.

1:30 p.m. – Caller reported a dog continues to get loose, 2700 block of Kalmia. Owner confined dog. Officer warned of potential city code violation.

3:48 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject going through her mailbox, 4100 block of Main. The male subject took off running down the road. Officer unable to locate.

5:29 p.m. – Skyler Todd Lien, 26, arrested for distribution of heroin and possession of meth, 2800 Ninth Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:36 p.m. – Caller reported a butterfly bush completely blocking the sidewalk. Referred to code enforcement.

11:19 p.m. – Wendy Earline Horner, 41, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 935 Fourth Ave. Cited and released.

Aug. 23

12:47 a.m. – Caller reported someone throwing rocks at his residence every 10 minutes, 1300 block of Nandina. Officer responded. No one in the area. A large apple tree in the backyard had apples falling on a shed.

3:24 a.m. – Jonathan Moffatt cited for no insurance and driving while suspended after crashing into a guardrail at Thistle Creek Access park. Moffatt transported to Linn County Jail on an unrelated arrest warrant.

8:04 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her residence, 900 block of Oak Terrace. Jewelry had been taken. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.

10:26 a.m. – Caller found an injured puppy, 4100 block of Main. Veterinarian said it had a birth defect. The dog was placed in the kennel and then released to owner.

12:25 p.m. – Caller reported her mother’s vehicle had been hit, 1100 block of Long. Report taken for hit and run.

12:35 p.m. – Caller reported a male assaulted a female, 47th and railroad tracks. Report taken. Female transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.

2:23 p.m. – Caller reported a cement mixer in the street for months, Seventh and Oak Terrace. Referred to code enforcement.

3:16 p.m. – Caller reported medication stolen from mail, 42300 block of Bennett. Report taken.

3:27 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had entered her vehicle, Wiley Creek Park. Report taken.

4:17 p.m. – Caller reported garbage piling up and an abandoned truck in a backyard, 900 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

6:22 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject exposing himself by the side of the road, Pleasant Valley and Main. Officer unable to locate.

7:02 p.m. – Joshua Kelly Whitmore, 32, turned in himself on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:57 p.m. – Caller reported that someone hammered a nail into her tire, 1300 block of Poplar. Information noted.

Aug. 22

2:26 a.m. – Wayne Cole Howser, 40, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of attempting to elude, 900 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:07 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs in the area, 43rd and Long. Dogs placed in kennel and then returned to owner.

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported a junk vehicle dropped off, 1000 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

9:44 a.m. – Caller reported accumulated trash, 1500 block of Ninth. Referred to code enforcement.

10:27 a.m. – Caller reported mail stolen, 24600 block of Brush Creek. Report taken.

10:44 a.m. – Caller reported a large dog on the front porch, 2200 block of Nandina. Dog placed in kennel, and dog control advised.

11:32 a.m. – Caller found an LG cell phone, 4900 block of Airport. Placed in found property.

1:03 p.m. – Caller reported his wallet stolen, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $14.

1:27 p.m. – Kyle Jordan Frederick, 19, cited for speeding, 35 mph in a 25-mph zone, 22nd and Ironwood.

2:26 p.m. – Caller reported finding a pellet gun, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Item seized for disposal.

3:46 p.m. – Andrew Benton Erickson, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft. Cited and released.

3:47 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barking all day, 1600 block of Dogwood. Referred to code enforcement.

3:49 p.m. – Caller reported a corner lot with tall grass and weeds, 46th and Live Oak. Referred to code enforcement.

10:35 p.m. – Caller reported that someone threw something at his house, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken. Damage estimated at $50.

Aug. 21

2 p.m. – Holly Ann Smith, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 921 Oak Terrace. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported hearing lots of yelling and a female crying.

3:55 p.m. – Rafael Gutierrez, 59, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Caller had reported an intoxicated male in the bottle return area harassing customers.

4:12 p.m. – Caller reported her cell phone stolen from her vehicle, 1600 block of Elm. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,040.

4:19 p.m. – Lawrence Glenn Mahlberg, 52, arrested for harassment, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Cited and released.

5:34 p.m. – Caller turned in a debit card found in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Placed in found property.

6:09 p.m. – Callers reported a dog barking for hours at a time, 1700 block of Dogwood. Officer left business card for owner and requested phone contact.

6:49 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor outside beating his dogs with a fireplace poker, 41900 block of Marks Ridge.

7:28 p.m. – Caller reported a female stealing her tablet and a gift card, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

9:01 p.m. – Elizabeth Lynn Brown, 34, cited and released in field on an Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s.

Aug. 20

10:51 a.m. – Caller reported a 1990 Toyota Camry stolen, 28100 block of Scott Mountain.

2:56 p.m. – Caller turned in an iPhone 5S found at Lewis Creek park. Linn County deputies were unable to locate an owner.

5:27 p.m. – Caller found a portable power pack at Sunnyside Park.

Aug. 19

4:04 a.m. – Ronald Berry arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, providing false information to a police officer and possession of meth, 44500 block of Quartzville. Caller had reported two males with a stolen vehicle.

6:05 a.m. – Richard Feaster arrested for menacing, fourth-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and parole violation, 59700 block of Highway 126.

7:44 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the caller’s vehicle and stole items, 44400 block of North River. Report taken.

8:47 p.m. – Caller reported that she got home, and it appeared someone was in her backyard earlier, 25800 block of Brush Creek. Someone may have been trying to break into her home. Report taken.

Aug. 18

2 p.m. – Caller staying at Sunnyside Park said that a man broke her trailer door and stole things out of her truck the night before. Two queen bed sheet sets, value approximately $200 were stolen while they were at Waterloo Campground the night before. The suspect is known to the victim. Report taken.

4:45 p.m. – Caller reported a bag of cow guts and legs from a beef cow dumped on the river bank, 44400 block of Wiley Creek.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported a female in front of her house in the road jumped out of a car and needed help but did not want the police, 43900 block of McDowell Creek. This was reported as a violation of a restraining order. The female was willingly traveling with the male suspect in the car. They began to argue, and it began to get physical. She was not injured. She got out of the car. There is a current protective order forbidding the male from contacting the female. Report taken.

6:45 p.m. – Caller reported that a checkbook was stolen and someone has written bad checks, 25400 block of Crescent Hill Rd. Report taken.

Aug. 17

3:56 p.m. – Caller believes her purse was stolen at Lewis Creek Park on Aug. 16. She canceled her credit cards. Report taken.
