3:48 a.m. – Marcus Wesley Hesson, 48, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to register as a sex offender and a new charge of failure to register as a sex offender, 1200 block of 23rd. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported neighbors fighting and banging things around.
10:24 a.m. – Mark Noel Osker, 62, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for criminal driving, Corvallis.
10:30 a.m. – Caller reported a sewer line cover sticking up in the roadway. Officer responded. The cover was wedged and could not be moved. Public Works notified.
11:38 a.m. – Caller reported a male bought marijuana oil for juveniles, Subway. Report taken. Items seized.
11:51 a.m. – Multiple callers reported a female yelling obscenities at people in the Post Office parking lot. Officer responded and contacted an agitated female. Officer advised her to stop yelling at people.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported that his neighbors have been throwing things in his yard over the last month, 2400 block of Harding. Information noted.

1:07 a.m. – Crystal Dawn Strickland, 30, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, criminal driving while suspended and a criminal citation and a new charge of possession of methamphetamine, 1200 block of 12th. Transported to Benton County Jail.
7:56 a.m. – Caller found a bicycle stashed in the alley next to Dairy Queen. Bicycle was not stolen and appeared to have been left intentionally. Officer to check back on it later in the day.
8:31 a.m. – Jason Underwood, 40, turned himself in on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, reckless driving and failure to report as a sex offender, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:17 a.m. – Caller found a baggie with a white powdery substance, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer disposed of it.

2:17 p.m. – Jay Boyd Marsh, 55, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on orignal charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

3:21 p.m. – Caller reported homeless people yelling and screaming at each other, old City Hall parking lot. One subject was gone upon officer arrival. The other was picking up her stuff.
9:57 p.m. – Daniel Eugene McCarty, 60, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, 7th and Oak Terrace. Cited and released.
10:09 p.m. – Tracy Leanna Mullins, 46, cited for driving while suspended, 1800 block of Main.

3:29 a.m. – Rhett Jeremiah Tucker, 23, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Lebanon.
4:06 a.m. – Steven Dean Fox, 26, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Main and Highway 228.
7:25 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered a work truck and took tools, 1600 block of Fir. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,150.
9:39 a.m. – Caller reported approximately six vehicles parked on the street, 900 block of Poplar. Registered owner advised of the complaint. The owner said they would be moved by the end of the day. Vehicles were posted for removal on Dec. 9.

12:06 p.m. – Caller reported a driver leaving without paying for $15 worth of fuel, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market.
1:19 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, Highway 20 and 23rd. No injuries. Drivers exchanged information.

9:15 a.m. – Caller reported cash and earbuds taken from a backpack in the locker room, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Caller did not want to pursue charges but wanted items returned if located. Information noted.
9:21 a.m. – Michelle Kimberly Ray, 29, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation, and Michael Scott Seiber, 39, cited and released in field for possession of methamphetamine, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven. Seiber also cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.
10:26 a.m. – Deputy operated the Foster weigh station, 44200 block of Highway 20. Deputy weighed 48 trucks and issued one citation and 11 warnings for weight violations.
12:34 p.m. – Caller reported the back door of an unoccupied house was open, 2200 block of Long. Officer contacted the real estate agent and took a report for burglary and criminal mischief. Damage estimated at $50.
12:36 p.m. – Caller reported a male left without paying for items the previous week, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Caller had the incident on security footage. Report taken. Loss valued at $5.
3:17 p.m. – Caller reported sending $1,300 to the wrong person, 1200 block of Albatross. Investigation continuing.

Dec. 3
12:05 a.m. – Caller reported her daughter borrowed her vehicle about six hours earlier and never returned it, 5500 block of Poplar. Report taken for a stolen vehicle.
12:20 a.m. – Caller reported a female walking in the middle of the road, 3200 block of Main. Officer contacted the female, who had moved to the sidewalk already, and she admitted to walking in the roadway. Officer advised her to stay out of the road.
8:10 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her house during the night and items, including a gun, were missing, 2400 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at about $900.
12:52 p.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, Highway 228 and Long. Officer unable to locate.
1:18 p.m. – Joshua Scott Dawson, 40, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:59 p.m. – Caller reported a group of juveniles closed the Weddle Bridge gates and were in the rafters attempting to take the bridge apart with tools. Officer responded. No juveniles were in the area, and the bridge showed no evidence of being dismantled.
4:03 p.m. – Kenith Dell Laster, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Coos Count.
4:56 p.m. – Terry Ballweber, 55, turned himself in on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released from lobby.
5:21 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running around. The caller took the dog to the owner’s house, but the occupant refused to take it. Officer contacted a family member of the owner. The family member agreed to pick up the dog in the morning.
5:55 p.m. – Raymon Wayne Littell, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of negotiating a bad check, Jefferson County.
6:49 p.m. – Caller reported his ex-wife came over and got into an argument with his daughter over property, 1000 block of 13th. Report taken for violation of release agreement. Caller advised of options.
9:23 p.m. – Caller reported a female was stuffing items into her clothing, 2414 Main St., Dollar Tree. Officer contacted the female, who had a cart full of items and admitted to having some items in her coat. She paid for all the items then left the store.
10:43 p.m. – Gary Alan Campbell, 46, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 4100 block of Osage St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male striking him in the face with a glass.
Dec. 2
10:15 a.m. – Caller reported a male was threatening to hurt him, 1200 block of 46th. Report taken for criminal trespass.
11 a.m. – Officer located a bicycle in Northside Park. Placed in found property.
11:21 a.m. – A 14-year-old female referred to Linn County Juvenile Department for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
12:58 p.m. – Caller reported a phone stolen from the locker room, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.
2:42 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dogs were barking all day and acting aggressively when people walk by, Dogwood and 7th. The caller said it’s an ongoing issue. Officer attempted contact with the owner of the dogs. Officer advised caller it was a code enforcement issue.
3:02 p.m. – Caller reported a dog loose in the area, 1700 block of 9th. Officer unable to locate.
3:23 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked for weeks, 1400 block of 53rd. Vehicle posted for removal. Owner advised.
4:01 p.m. – Officer located a deceased dog wrapped in a tarp, 43rd by the railroad.
5:21 p.m. – Renee Ruth Carr, 54, turned herself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on a criminal driving charge, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released from lobby.
5:43 p.m. – Caller reported wires clipped and a face plate taken from his vehicle three days earlier, 400 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.
6:15 p.m. – Caller reported dogs got into a fight and may need medical attention, 1900 block of 20th. Caller also reported a male was beating one of the dogs. Officer responded. The homeowner would not answer the door. The officer spoke with a neighbor, who said the altercation was between the homeowner’s dogs and involved no other animals or people.
8:06 p.m. – Caller reported a female continues to call and harass employees, Dairy Queen. The female had been trespassed from the location earlier in the day. A second caller reported being angry that Dairy Queen would not give her a $50 gift card. Officer contacted the second caller by phone and informed the female that he could not force a business to give her a gift card.
