5:56 a.m. – Chaylan Dale Tosta arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and Linn County warrants for failure to comply, probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, probation violation on original charge of contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 1840 Tamarack St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:31 p.m. – Stolen vehicle recovered, 25000 block of West Brush Creek Road.

Dec. 13

7:18 a.m. – Caller found a fire in a ring next to two vehicles, 1700 block of 9th. Officer located a small campfire in a fire pit. Officer stomped it out.

10:35 a.m. – Caller reported that a female stole two lighters the previous evening, 1306 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken. Loss valued at $3.98.

11:21 a.m. – Caller reported a rock thrown through a window, 1600 block of Elm. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

11:50 a.m. – John T. Gordon, 47, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Bend.

12:02 p.m. – India Hathaway, 32, arrested on multiple warrants, 28700 block of Highway 20.

1:09 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check, 27100 block of High Deck Road. Deputy located a deceased 42-year-old female.

1:41 p.m. – Timothy Tyrell Combs, 36, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

2:38 p.m. – Timothy Loren Ames Jr. arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrants for driving under the influence, possession of meth, second-degree criminal trespass, first-degree burglary, second-degree theft, driving while suspended and possession of heroin, Clark Mill and Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:44 p.m. – Caller reported mail stolen from a mailbox and thrown in a ditch, 28800 block of Liberty. Report taken.

3:26 p.m. – Mikel Patrick arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving after he failed to negotiate a turn, hit a tree and flipped his car multiple times, 24800 block of Brush Creek. The male was transported to Riverbend Hospital where he was in the intensive care unit.

11:28 p.m. – David Allen Kragness, 63, arrested for driving under the influence, 2400 block of Main. Cited and released.

Dec. 12

7:50 a.m. – Caller reported that someone attempted to steal fuel from and took keys to vehicles, 1328 Clark Mill Road, Melcher Logging. Report taken for six counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. Three vehicles had keys taken.

8:36 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into his enclosed trailer, 1100 block of 38th. Report taken.

8:39 a.m. – Caller reported someone was attempting to use his credit card, 28800 block of Highway 20. Investigation continuing.

9:33 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Report taken. Loss valued at $12.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported a pit bull was loose, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.

1:45 p.m. – Christopher Andrew Hughlett, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of providing false information to a police officer and carrying a concealed weapon, Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and first-degree theft and Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and failure to comply on original charges of third-degree theft, 1200 block of 12th.

3:28 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle, 3137 Main St., Trailer Villa. Report taken. Loss valued at $104.

4:19 p.m. – Caller reported a female showed up and wanted to turn in stolen property that had been given to her, 5300 block of Locust. Items seized. Investigation continuing.

4:23 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her front license plate, 5300 block of Poplar. Report taken. Loss valued at $54.

9:06 p.m. – Caller reported his bicycle stolen, 2300 block of Cedar. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

10:11 p.m. – Drug detection dog alerted on a vehicle during a traffic stop, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Drug paraphernalia located.

7:47 a.m. – Caller reported multiple vehicles entered, 5300 block of Locust. Information noted.

8:46 p.m. – Konane Nicoiulane Leslie, 25, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

9:19 a.m. – Caller reported a broken window in the ticket booth, Husky Field. Report taken.

1:53 p.m. – Caller reported that his soon-to-be ex-wife took $300 out of his account, 700 block of Birch. Report taken.

4:30 p.m. – Caller reported fuel was stolen, 5300 block of Main. Report taken.

10:49 p.m. – Caller reported an alarm activation, 5300 block of Locust. Report taken for burglary.

Dec. 10

4:38 a.m. – Jared Dwayne Schmadeka, 24, cited for careless driving, 18th and Long.

9:46 a.m. – Caller reported a collie running down the middle of the street, 1500 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.

11:18 a.m. – Caller reported a collie running loose, 1200 block of 12th. Dog placed in kennel. Owner contacted to collect the dog.

11:49 a.m. – Caller reported her car was damaged while parked at Safeway, 1540 Main St. Information noted for insurance purposes.

1:04 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanai Ben Leslie, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of public disorder.

3:44 p.m. – Caller reported someone setting up a motor home and camp, 1900 53rd Ave., Wiley Creek Park. Officer responded and advised the occupant of city ordinance. Occupant packed up and moved on.

7:01 p.m. – Hailee Jo Smith-Daggett, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon.

7:12 p.m. – Caller found a notebook a week earlier, Northside Park. Placed in found property.

Dec. 9

6:38 a.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall, 35, arrested for second-degree assault (domestic violence), 1907 Willow St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported two pit bulls came out of an open gate and charged the caller while she was walking her dog, 7th and Ironwood. Dogs returned. Owner warned.

12 p.m. – A male who was incarcerated was concerned that his puppy had been left in the house without food, 1100 block of Poplar. Dog watered and fed.

1:15 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke out a window and had been in the basement, 1400 block of Fern. Report taken.

6:06 p.m. – Caller reported that a female had just driven into a ditch, 1200 block of 47th. No injuries. Officer contacted the driver. No sign of impairment. It appeared she had just misjudged the turn into the driveway.

10:08 p.m. – Steven Andrew Williamson, 50, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

10:13 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle passing Thriftway at approximately 100 mph and the vehicle went sideways in the road. Another caller reported two cars racing each other. A third caller reported a vehicle almost hit her then lost control and almost crashed. Report taken for reckless driving. Vehicle was located in the roadway, Valley View and Highway 228. Unable to locate driver. Vehicle towed as a hazard.

Dec. 8

12:11 a.m. – Officer referred two 11-year-old, five 12-year-old and one 13-year-old juveniles to Juvenile Department for curfew violation, 900 block of Elm.

2:54 a.m. – Chase Codi Breinholt, 27, arrested for driving under the influence, 800 block of Elm.

6:03 a.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment and failure to appear on original charges of menacing, third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County.

7 a.m. – Deputy took an adult male into custody on a police officer hold after he was found walking down the middle of the road on Highway 20 in Cascadia, 48400 block of Highway 20.

11:20 a.m. – Caller reported a German shepherd running around the parking lot, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Caller contained the dog. Officer responded, and owner showed up to claim the dog.

12:31 p.m. – David Arroyo Sandaval-Arroyo, 38, arrested on Lebanon warrants for contempt of court, probation violation and failure to appear.

3:24 p.m. – Caller reported her wallet was taken off the bar the previous night and someone attempted to use her debit card, which had been canceled, in Portland, 6099 Hwy. 20, Woods Roadhouse. Report taken. Loss valued at $120.

4:45 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of cash, 41600 block of Northside Drive. Report taken.

6:24 p.m. – Caller reported a male who had been trespassed was at location, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Report taken.

8:45 p.m. – Drug detection dog alerted to a vehicle on a traffic stop, 1200 block of 12th. Drug paraphernalia located.

8:55 p.m. – Kyle Alexander Richards, 25, cited on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and one for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County.

11:28 p.m. – Noe Nunez-Manzo, 24, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem.

Dec. 7

7:55 a.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 30, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1223 Kalmia St., Sweet Home Genealogical Library. Caller had reported a female camped out in the entrance.

9:18 a.m. – Caller reported a license stolen from her vehicle, 1100 block of 29th. Report taken.

10:56 a.m. – Amanda Ray Stafford, 42, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for possession of meth and Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, old Knife River property west of Zelkova. Caller had located a tent, tarp and other items. Officer responded and located a female with a large camp set up. She was issued a trespass warning for the location on the condition she clean up her camp. If she does not clean it up, she will be arrested on additional charges.

1:43 p.m. – Angela Dianne May, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

2:18 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 3200 block of Long. Officer and owner responded. Owner was able to capture the dog.

2:57 p.m. – Lebanon Police Department recovered a license plate reported stolen out of Sweet Home.

3:57 p.m. – Caller reported that it looked a person was kneeling by the railroad track near Clark Mill Drive and had been that way for 40 minutes. Officer responded and fond a jacket hanging from a tree branch.

8:15 p.m. – Drug detection dog alerted to a vehicle during a traffic stop, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer located and seized drug paraphernalia.

8:46 p.m. – Kenith Dale Laster III, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem.

8:59 p.m. – Matthew James Wood, 27, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 3200 block of Main.

Dec. 6

8:57 a.m. – Caller reported a chainsaw stolen from a utility trailer, 1400 block of Westwood. Report taken. Loss valued at $800.

9:23 a.m. – Caller reported his wife had been unfaithful, and he believed she was hiding someone in the attic, 1200 block of 1st. He said he could hear someone running around. Officer responded. Female had left with children.

11:15 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Report taken. Loss valued at $32.

2:57 p.m. – Theresa Christine Alberts, 30, cited for driving while suspended, 1400 block of 12th.

5:14 p.m. – Caller reported pills stolen, 400 block of Oak Terrace. Information noted.

5:30 p.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene.

9:24 p.m. – Officer observed two juveniles set off illegal fireworks, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. A 15-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for illegal fireworks. A 17-year-old juvenile referred and transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention for illegal fireworks and minor in possession of tobacco.
