Nov. 23

12:12 a.m. – Caller reported traffic accident in 42300 block of North River Drive. Vehicle struck a tree and rolled down the hill. Sheriff’s Office reported passenger suffered minor injuries. Driver was not present when deputy arrived. Report taken.

11:39 a.m. – Boat and trailer tagged for removal on Nov. 27, 1300 block of Poplar.

2:02 p.m. – Abigael Elizabeth Wood, 33, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of Criminal Trespass.

3:26 p.m. – Deputy checked on a car parked on CTC land in 45400 block Wiley Creek Drive/Cedar Creek Road. Found male and female naked in the back seat. Advised them this was not the type of recreation CTC liked on its property. They got dressed and left.

6:43 p.m. – Caller reported his trailer was entered and items were taken, 27300 block Moose Creek Road. Report taken.

9:21 p.m. – Trevin Michael King, 24, cited and released for a hit and run, also cited for driving uninsured, 5500 block of Nandina.

Nov. 24

12:13 a.m. – Female who was involved in motor vehicle crash and has head injuries was picked up and brought to Spoleto’s, 4804 Main. Officer located injured female passenger, transported to hospital. Officers assisted Linn County Sheriff’s Office and Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District in search for crash site, which was located near 42300 block of North River approximately one hour later. Unable to locate any other victims.

12:31 a.m. – Possible suicidal subject stated he wanted to drive off cliff, phone pinged at 43rd and Coulter. Officer located subject near crash site, though not related to the crash. Linn County Sheriff’s Office took over talking to the subject.

2:17 a.m. – Caller reported as he was leaving for work he observed a male on a bike looking in yards, 46th and Mahogany. When he turned around to see what he was up to he stared cussing at the caller and walking towards him. Caller confirmed it was the subject from the last call, counselled and parole officer notified.

Nov. 24

3:14 p.m. – Caller reported he received a complaint that a male was leaving dead rats on the ground, 1400 block of 22nd. Officer responded, contacted male who denied reported activity.

4:36 p.m. – Caller reported ex took security camera and WiFi equipment, 300 block of Juniper. Info noted and report forwarded to parole and probation.

6:59 p.m. – Caller reported ex is intoxicated and out of control, 1400 block of 53rd. All calm upon officer arrival. Lisa Dawn Johnston, 46, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

8:52 p.m. – Jonathon Warren Underwood, 27, cited on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 3000 block of Main.

Nov. 25

1:03 a.m. – Caller believes subject was messing around with one of his trucks, 1200 block of Tamarack. Caller yelled at him and he took off in a blue or silver pickup. Subject told caller he thought he was at a friend’s house, but the vehicle looked rifled through. Report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and criminal trespass. Does not appear anything was taken.

1:41 a.m. – Kaleb Kimber Banta, 22, cited and released on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of theft, resisting arrest, and escape, 1700 block of Fir.

2:10 a.m. – Skylar James Samson, 30, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of forgery, and on Linn County warrants for two counts of unlawful possession of meth, three counts of mail theft or receipt of stolen mail, one count of theft, and a probation violation, Pleasant Valley boat ramp.

7:04 – Veronica Sue Szuch, 24, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft; on a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and a parole violation; a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants; and an Albany warrant for contempt of court, 2405 Main, 7-Eleven.

8:51 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office located KC Everett Merle Holt, 37, on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of disorderly conduct and theft. Cited and released.

11:41 a.m. – Caller reported her son just stole her vehicle, 1700 block of Fir. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft, value under $100.

12:20 p.m. – Caller reported bicycle stolen, 900 block of Poplar. Officer responded, report taken for theft, value $400.

7:57 p.m. – Caller reported home broken into, items moved around but nothing appears to be missing, believes male at location may be involved, 700 block of Steelhead. Officer responded, contacted caller, info noted, male asked to leave residence for remainder of evening.

8:40 p.m. – Report taken for criminal trespass, 600 block of 17th.

9:37 p.m. – Operator reported a burglary alarm at 401 Main, Oregon Jamboree Music Festival office. Nicholas James Seavey, 18, arrested for burglary and criminal trespass, lodged at Linn County Jail.

10:50 p.m. – Subject sleeping in van between apartments, 4600 block of Main. Officer contacted subjects sleeping in vehicle while visiting at one of the apartments. Will pull into their driveway.

Nov. 26

12:48 a.m. – Caller reported concern that he is being followed, 12th and Main. Officer contacted subject. Earl Ryan Dodge, 26, cited and released on an Albany warrant for theft.

7:36 a.m. – Caller reported that he’d located his stolen vehicle in 28600 block of Highway 20. Deputy responded to meet with Florencio Gomez Jr., 58 of Albany, who said he’d located his 2006 Chevrolet Malibu at 28637 S. Santiam Hwy. The vehicle had been listed as stolen by Albany police. Deputy located the vehicle at that location. Report taken.

8:11 a.m. – Caller reported a male is standing outside screaming, 600 block of 17th. Officer responded, male gone on arrival.

9:39 a.m. – Caller reported her son ran away sometime last night, 800 block of Dogwood. Officer responded, juvenile returned home shortly after officer arrival.

11:03 a.m. – Caller reported brother and father fighting, 3100 block of Long. Officer responded, juvenile gone on arrival, report taken for domestic violence- harassment.

1:03 p.m. – Follow-up: caller reported his son just returned home, 3100 block of Long. 17-year-old male arrested for domestic violence- harassment, lodged at Linn Benton Detention Center.

5:33 p.m. – Caller reported hearing approximately eight gunshots in the area, 6200 block of Main. Officer unable to locate, spoke with nearby residents who did not hear what was reported.

8:43 p.m. – Arne Gerard, 43, of Albany, arrested on outstanding warrant, 43700 block North River Drive.

Nov. 27

12:27 a.m. – Caller reported a male flagged her down asking for a ride, males stated one of them needed medical assistance, Highway 228 and Main. Officer responded, contacted males who did not need police or medical assistance, left area on foot.

1:27 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office requested ambulance assist for overdose, 800 block of Dogwood. Officer responded, assisted, male transported by medics.

5:53 a.m. – Caller reported someone shut off the power and stole Christmas lights, 501 Main. Officer responded, report taken for theft and criminal mischief, approximate value $50.

10:11 a.m. – Boat and trailer with no plate towed as abandoned, 1300 block of Poplar.

10:15 a.m. – Elmer Kyle James, 29, cited for driving while suspended and illegal alteration of plates, 13th and Nandina. Registration stickers seized.

11:08 a.m. – Oregon State Police reported a firearm denial at Bi-Mart, 1980 Main, on Nov. 25. Officer responded, report taken, investigation ongoing.

11:51 a.m. – Caller reported that his work vehicle and 10 firearms had been stolen sometime after 5:45 a.m., 28700 block Liberty Road. Report taken.

12:14 p.m. – Caller reported her mother is sitting in front of her house, yelling at her brother, 1000 block of 3rd. She has been trespassed from the residence. Officer responded, contacted female in question who was not in violation of the trespass. She agreed to leave the area.

5:06 p.m. – Caller reported her son violated his restraining order by calling her, 400 block of Holley. Officer responded, report taken, investigation ongoing.

8:59 p.m. – Albany police located Cheri Lyn Olsen, 48, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

8:59 p.m. – Albany police located Franklin Claybon Edwards, 47, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

10:44 p.m. – Officer located male with warrants in Wiley Creek Park. Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 27, cited and released for possession of meth, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving, and a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespassing.

Nov. 28

2:37 a.m. – Caller reported single-vehicle crash in 24700 block Brush Creek Road with no one around. Deputies arrived and found property damage. Vehicle owner, who was not identified in the Sheriff’s log, stated they would have their own tow retrieve the vehicle.

3:19 p.m. – Amber Dawn Barton, 42, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1200 block of 23rd.

7:26 p.m. – Caller reported husband is intoxicated and hit her son on the arm, son is not injured, 2300 block of Harding. Caller also said husband took her car keys and won’t return them, has been driving intoxicated. Officer responded, contacted all parties, verbal only. Husband denies operating vehicles, both agreed to stay separated within the home.

8:17 p.m. – Caller reported a male made a YouTube video about him claiming things that aren’t true, 1800 block of Ulex. Officer spoke with caller by phone, info noted, advised it’s a civil issue.

10:03 p.m. – James Mortensen, 21, cited for driving while suspended, 1500 block of Main.

Nov. 29

2:07 a.m. – Robert Oar, 43, arrested on two warrants. 44600 block North River Drive. Cited and released. Report taken.

5:01 a.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male passed out in a box of wreaths, 1540 Main, Safeway. Officer responded, Vincent Holt, 49, arrested on a Linn County warrant for a parole violation; a Corvallis warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespassing; Albany warrants for theft and criminal trespass; a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation; and a Philomath warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of resisting arrest. Booked, cited and released.

10:32 a.m. – Caller reported barn and cars were broken into and items stolen, 2300 block of Elm. Officer responded, report taken for burglary, theft, unauthorized entry of two motor vehicles and criminal trespass. Investigation ongoing.

11:56 p.m. – Caller reported male is making inappropriate sexual comments to juveniles, 1200 block of 44th. Officer responded, unable to contact male, who may have mental health issues. Caller wanted info noted.

2:35 p.m. – Caller reported father hit her in the face multiple times, 1000 block of 23rd. Officer responded, minor physical altercation, non-mandatory arrest. Parties agreed to remain separated.

4:47 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles put his son in a choke hold and punched him in the face, breaking his glasses, 4600 block of Main. Officer responded, counseled juveniles at caller request.

6:32 p.m. – Linn County dispatch reports possible overdose, 2100 block of Main. Officer responded, male transported to Linn County Hospital by medics.

21:09 p.m. – Caller reported her ex-boyfriend is throwing her items outside, attempting to damage them, and does not want to return them to her, 45th and Kalmia. While officer was en route, caller called back and said she had left the location due to the male wanting to get physical. Officer called her, she stated she would try to gather her property from the ex tomorrow; if there are any issues she will call the Police Department.
