3:06 a.m. – Jody Maruffo, 40, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
4:23 a.m. – Jimmy Coonrod, 66, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on second-degree criminal trespass, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male camped out and smoking in the lobby.
Dec. 21
8:05 a.m. – Caller located a phone her son had, and she believed it may be stolen, 3100 block of Long. Officer responded. Phone seized, but it had not been reported stolen.
9:39 a.m. – Caller reported that someone wrote checks in her name and cashed them, 800 block of 18th. The incident occurred in Albany. Referred to Albany Police Department.
11:40 a.m. – Jesse Michael Langdon, 37, cited for driving while suspended, 1900 block of Main.
11:57 a.m. – Isaac Philip Waugh, 23, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of interfering with a police officer.
12:38 p.m. – Breeanna Johnston, 25, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.
2:07 p.m. – Caller reported a lock on a water meter was cut, 900 block of Mountain View. Report taken.
2:32 p.m. – Caller found a wallet in the roadway, 15th and Main. Placed in found property.
3:40 p.m. – Caller reported a stray dog running loose in the area, 1500 block of Elm. Returned to owner.
3:53 p.m. – Caller found a syringe lying in the roadway, 12th and Poplar. Officer unable to locate.
5:29 p.m. – Caller reported a female slid off a muddy bank while walking her dogs, North River and Marks Ridge. Sweet Home police assisted her up the bank. Medics responded to check the female.
7:54 p.m. – Caller reported a tarp stolen, 4800 block of 48th. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.
10:56 p.m. – Ronald Drury, 57, cited and released for failure to register as a sex offender and cited for no license, 1540 Main St., Safeway.
11:55 p.m. – Christopher Allen Shoemaker, 43, cited for driving while suspended, 1000 block of Main.
Dec. 20
7:04 a.m. – Caller reported his son-in-law found a sleeping bag and pillow in the backyard, 1100 block of 18th. Officer located a male’s belongings. Caller requested the male be trespassed.
8:15 a.m. – Caller found a large syringe on a bus, 873 18th Ave., Bus Barn. Officer disposed of the syringe.
9:58 a.m. – Caller found a meth pipe, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Item was a canine training prop. Item seized.
10:01 a.m. – Caller reported he was missing $700 and believes it was stolen, 1200 block of 44th. Information noted.
12:36 p.m. – Officer located a motor vehicle crash, Highway 20 and Country Lane. Officer assisted Oregon State Police.
3:21 p.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle collision, Long and 18th. No injuries. No citations. Report taken.
5:32 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked for more than six hours, 1712 11th Ave., Northside Park. The caller believed the occupants were camping. Officer responded. Vehicle was legally parked. Officer spoke with a female occupant, who said she would move on in 15 minutes.
8:01 p.m. – Caller reported $1,200 to $2,200 worth of checks stolen from a mailbox, 2500 block of Long. Report taken.
9:31 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed skidded and hit some garbage cans, Poplar and 11th. Officer unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
Dec. 19
4:07 a.m. – Officer located a bicycle, 42nd and Main. Placed in found property.
4:50 a.m. – Timothy James Shehan, 24, cited for speeding, careless driving and driving while suspended, 800 block of Main. Vehicle impounded.
7:41 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor trespassing on the caller’s property, 40400 block of Highway 228. Report taken.
11:29 a.m. – Caller reported her vehicle had been hit the previous day, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Caller didn’t want to pursue charges but wanted the other driver’s information.
11:50 a.m. – Caller reported a Yamaha motorcycle stolen, 4600 block of Airport Lane. Report taken. Loss valued at $4,000.
11:53 a.m. – Caller reported that a male took a firearm that was registered to the caller when he left her residence, 2400 block of Main. Information noted.
3:02 p.m. – Caller reported a large black Lab running loose, Mountain View and Kalmia. Officer located the animal secured in its own yard. Officer contacted the owner.
3:22 p.m. – Caller found marijuana on a student, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Student had already gone home for the day. Student referred to school resource officer. Investigation pending.
Dec. 18
1:08 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 30, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and a new charge of possession of meth, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.
8:19 a.m. – Cheri Olson, 46, cited and released in the field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1861 20th Ave.
10:43 a.m. – Caller reported someone knocked over her fence during the night, 1000 block of 12th. Report taken.
1:01 p.m. – Caller reported a female camping in the park, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Caller tried to tell her she can’t camp there, and she got belligerent with him and refused to leave. Officer responded. She was not camping and just had her belongings with her. Officer gave her a courtesy transport to a residence in Foster.
1:34 p.m. – Scott Lutz, 48, turned in himself on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
2:06 p.m. – Police officer took a male subject into custody on a police officer hold and transported him to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital for mental evaluation, 6100 block of Highway 20.
2:46 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked the wrong way for two months and is blocking the street sweeper, 1300 block of 19th. Officer contacted a resident. The vehicle was inoperable. The resident was advised to move it into the driveway.
9:45 p.m. – Caller reported he was out for a walk and someone threw three rocks at him, 1700 block of Elm. Officer unable to locate any suspects. The caller had not been hit by any rocks.
Dec. 17
9:06 a.m. – Caller reported a female camped out in the bathroom and refusing to leave, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer contacted the female who just had her belongings with her. She agreed to exit the bathroom.
12:36 p.m. – Caller reported that a male who had been trespassed was in the parking lot, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Male gone upon officer arrival. Report taken.
1:31 p.m. – Deputy recovered stolen mail, 42200 block of Ames Creek. Report taken.
2:08 p.m. – Deputy turned in mail located in Waterloo to Sweet Home Police Department. Investigation continuing.
3:05 p.m. – Denise Rochelle Burrow, 51, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of disorderly conduct, 1500 block of Main. Cited and released.
3:50 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his truck, 400 block of Oak Terrace. No damage. No property taken. The incident may have been stopped in progress. Information noted.
7:01 p.m. – Caller reported tools taken from his shed during the night, 300 block of 7th. Report taken. Loss valued at $331.
8:28 p.m. – Caller reported a male got off a bike and punched another male walking by, 12th and Tamarack. Officer unable to locate male but would watch out for the subject.

2:41 a.m. – Claudia Beth Forlines, 63, cited for driving uninsured, Wiley Creek and Main.
9:38 a.m. – Gerlinde Lynch, 39, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Jail.
12:34 p.m. – Tarah Hyre, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on two original counts of possession of meth and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, City Hall parking lot. Caller had reported a vehicle involved in a possible attempted burglary in Albany was parked at location. Officer responded. Caller called back stating the female driver had rammed his vehicle and then took off. Caller followed the vehicle. Vehicle seized pending a search warrant.
3:51 p.m. – Clinton Williams, 30, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief and Linn County warrants for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief (owed 14 days in jail) and probation violation on original charges of driving under the influence, interfering with a report and two counts of criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
5:14 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in the parking lot, 2295 Main St., Mobil gas station. Officer disposed of the syringe.
10:59 p.m. – Aron Johan Vandijk, 35, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended and cited for driving while suspended, 2200 block of Main.
11:45 p.m. – Abigael Elizabeth Wood, 31, arrested on Linn County warrants for probation violation on original charges of identity theft, possession of heroin, second-degree child neglect, resisting arrest, possession of meth and third-degree theft, 1300 block of 18th. Cited and released.
Dec. 15
2:53 a.m. – Johne Michael Griffith, 23, cited for failure to register vehicle and failure to carry proof of insurance, west city limits.
8:03 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle and residence were egged during the night, 1700 block of Tamarack. Information noted.
12:25 p.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle crash, 23rd and Main. Information exchanged.
5:27 p.m. – Zachariah Davis, 29, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and cited for driving uninsured, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Cited and released.
Dec. 14
7:34 a.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, City Hall parking lot. Cited and transported by medics to the hospital.
8:33 a.m. – Caller reported that a motor home had been parked for a couple of months making it hard to see a stop sign, 5th and Ironwood. Officer contacted the owner and advised of city ordinance. Vehicle will be moved.
9:15 a.m. – A 16-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for criminal mischief, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Caller had reported a student damaged a door.
9:23 a.m. – Caller reported people had been staying in a white minivan, 300 W. Holley Road. Stonebrook Apartments. Officer responded. Vehicle was unoccupied. Officer contacted the owners at an apartment. They planned to leave shortly.
11:02 a.m. – Caller reported someone tried to take funds from her Bank of America account, 4900 block of Maple. Bank covered the loss but requested she report the case.
11:10 a.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 47, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.
1:07 p.m. – Caller reported a suspicious substance was spread on an area where neighbors walk their dogs, 1200 block of Laurel. Information noted.
1:33 p.m. – Caller reported a large garbage can filled with tin cans was removed from the caller’s porch, 1700 block of Tamarack. Information noted at caller’s request.
4:40 p.m. – Phillip Groff, 21, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, Linn County.
