Nov. 30

5:03 p.m. – Caller reported ex interfering with custody agreement; another caller reported ex’s girlfriend showed up at her house and started yelling at her, 1700 block of Grape. Officer responded, contacted both parties, advised of their options and both were able to come to an agreement for the night.

Dec. 1

2:08 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office arrested Melissa Jean Ackley, 42, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft, driving while uninsured and failure to install ignition interlock device, 1200 block 44th Avenue. Report taken.

2:59 a.m. – Caller reported she attacked her boyfriend in her sleep, boyfriend bit her to stop the attack, 2200 block of Nandina. Officer responded, contacted both parties, minor physical disturbance with no injuries. Parties denied needing further police or medical assistance.

3:42 p.m. – Illegal campers moved off private timber property, 44400 block North River Drive.

5:05 p.m. – Cynthia Pacifico, 52, of California, cited for driving while suspended, open container, after being stopped for failure to drive within her lane of travel, 44500 block Highway 20/Quartzville Road.

4:12 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle just hit a bicyclist, Clark Mill and Main. Officer responded, contacted parties involved, no injuries and damage under $2,500. Bicyclists’ mother arrived on scene and will give him a ride home.

5:59 p.m. – Caller apprehended a shoplifter, Bi-Mart, 1980 Main. Patrick John Ward, 40, arrested for theft and a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation.

8:48 p.m. – Caller reported a two vehicle crash blocking the roadway, 2400 block of Main. Report taken for over $2,500 in damages, both vehicles towed.

10:17 p.m. – Caller reported motor vehicle crash in 24700 block Brush Creek Road. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Micheala Brown, 19, of Sweet Home was traveling north on Brush Creek when she failed to negotiate a corner, driving into a ditch, through a fence and over some boulders, through another fence and gate and coming to rest between two trees. The Sheriff’s report did not list the make and model of the vehicle. Two passengers were in the vehicle. No injuries reported. No citations. Vehicle towed from scene. Report taken.

11:51 p.m. – Lebanon Police located Gaylynn Wagner, 50, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

Dec. 2

3:19 a.m. – Caller reported her son took her vehicle, 1700 block of Fir. Officer responded, report taken, vehicle entered as missing.

8:39 a.m. – Caller reported a deceased dog appears to have a gunshot wound, 100 block of Holley. Officer responded, located owner. Dog was hit by a vehicle last night and had to be dispatched. Public Works collected the animal.

9:20 a.m. – Caller reported hunters trespassing in 42600 block Upper Calapooia Drive.

10:44 a.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was stolen sometime last night, 3500 block of Juniper. Officer responded, contacted caller and advised her of her civil options.

12:02 p.m. – Illegal camp discovered on bank of Foster Lake in 43300 block North River Drive/Marks Ridge Drive. Told to move along.

12:43 p.m. – Joseph Gene Salley, 48, cited and released on a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended, 2000 block of Main.

4:44 p.m. – Kaleb Banta, 22, arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, 22nd and Long. Cited and released in the field due to COVID restrictions. Daughter of owner took back the vehicle.

Dec. 3

2:04 a.m. – Officer reported hearing a loud explosion, caller reported similar, 1300 block of 13th. Officer responded, contacted nearby residents who also heard an explosion, checked the area, unable to locate a source.

7:50 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office radio reported a vehicle fire, 3000 block of Main. Officer responded, assisted.

9:59 a.m. – Corvallis Police arrested Luke Thomas Ludwig, 35, on a Sweet Home warrant of failure to appear on an original charge of criminal mischief.

1:36 p.m. – Citation issued to dog owner, who was not identified in Sheriff’s log, for nuisance barking. 38300 block Highway 228.

3:25 p.m. – Beaverton Police located Tiffany Lynn Beyer, 38, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.

9:00 p.m. – Katrina Counts, 49, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 55th and Main.

Dec. 4

12:25 a.m. – Brittany Gosnell, 22, cited for no operator license, Pleasant Valley boat ramp.

12:06 p.m. – Jacob Wade Kennedy, 17, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, 43rd and Airport.

1:35 p.m. – Caller reported her brother locked her out of the property they share, 1100 block of 55th. Office responded, Sandra Kay Scott, 55, cited and released on a Roseburg warrant for failure to appear on two counts of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

4:00 p.m. – Caller reported someone is flying a drone over his and his neighbor’s backyards, 1800 block of Tamarack. Neighbor is threatening to shoot it down. Officer contacted caller and neighbor, will research drones in city limits. Person cautioned about making statements regarding shooting in city limits.

4:38 p.m. – Callers reported a male having an episode and out of control, 1100 block of Long. Is lunging at passing vehicles, yelling, was witnessed throwing his bicycle at another person. Officer contacted subject, who has calmed down somewhat. He will try to go out of town when he needs to yell.

5:16 p.m. – Lebanon police served Amanda Leah Binks, 27, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of disorderly conduct.

11:29 p.m. – Caller reported male dressed in all black was looking into vehicles, last seen heading up Strawberry Loop near Nandina. Officer responded, checked area, unable to locate anyone out on foot.

11:56 p.m. – Phillip Groff, 23, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Mountain View and Elm.

Dec. 5

12:04 p.m. – Deputy found female stuck inside Green Mountain gate in 42700 block Ames Creek Road. She said she had driven through the gate on Friday and had been locked in. Friends who came to assist her high-centered truck on a boulder, according to the Sheriff’s log. Deputy assisted her in getting vehicle out and advised them not to return. No damage to CTC property.

12:50 p.m. – Caller has been on phone with CARDV and they asked her to come into the police department to speak with an officer about domestic violence issues, 2000 block of Grape. Officer contacted caller, disturbance occurred last night between father and adult son. Caller advised of options.

12:57 p.m. – Caller reported male running into traffic and then back onto sidewalk and swinging on poles, 10th and Main. Officer contacted subject who was under the influence of an unknown substance. Says he is staying on the 400 block of Holley. Advised his behavior was not acceptable and he is heading back to camp. Message sent to probation officer.

1:33 p.m. – Albany police served a Sweet Home warrant to David Michael Russell, 39, for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

2:39 p.m. – Caller reported someone opened a bank account in their name, 1000 block of 3rd Avenue. Report taken, investigation ongoing.

3:14 p.m. – Caller reported to officer his front license plate was stolen. Report taken, officer will take other plate.

8:17 p.m. – Caller reported a female previously trespassed from location stepped onto the property earlier that day, 5300 block of Poplar. Officer responded, report taken for criminal trespass, will forward to city attorney for review.

Dec. 6

12:16 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office located Hunter Gomez, 37, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

9:18 a.m. – Caller reported subject paid with a fake $20 bill, 1195 Main, Mobil gas station. Officer responded, report taken, investigation ongoing.

11:54 a.m. – Caller reported smoke coming from location, 2200 block of Tamarack. Flames showing upon arrival of fire department. Referred to Linn County Sheriff’s Office, possible warming fire didn’t get extinguished.

12:04 p.m. – Fire reported in 2200 block Tamarack Street. According to Sheriff’s log, probable warming fire set by transients may have spread to surrounding downed timbers in a dilapidated structure. Not considered intentional. Report taken.

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported someone shot their windshield with a pellet or BB gun, has happened two days in a row. Officer contacted, caller requested info noted.

3:24 p.m. – Caller reported ex was in her house, she has him on video disconnecting lights, 300 block of Juniper. Report taken, parole officer notified.

7:17 p.m. – Corvallis Police served Samuel Armstrong Monroe, 43, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving.

Dec. 7

6:08 a.m – Caller reported a male was in the parking lot punching and kicking vehicles, 621 Main, Thriftway. Office responded, contacted male in question and trespassed him from the store at caller’s request. He denied damaging any vehicles, may have mental health issues.
