Dec. 20

12:02 a.m. – Andrew Christopher Jones, 19, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft. Cited and released.

3:15 a.m. – Officer located a bicycle in the middle of the road, Ninth and Main. Placed in found property.

10:22 a.m. – Caller wanted to trespass a male from property due to problems he caused last summer, 2400 block of Main. Officer contacted the male, who left without incident. He said he would go to other churches in the area as he is working on a documentary.

1:23 p.m. – Theresa Christine Alberts, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 1400 block of Nandina.

Dec. 19

1:43 a.m. – Veronica Sue Szuch, 19, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

10:48 a.m. – Caller reported he has video of neighbor’s lights being stolen, 1600 block of Ninth. Report taken. Loss valued at $19.

10:50 a.m. – Caller turned in a pellet gun, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.

1:44 p.m. – Kristopher Clark, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

2:36 p.m. – Becky Susan Adams, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Albany. Cited and released.

3:56 p.m. – Caller reported Christmas decorations stolen from his yard, 1000 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $60.

6:13 p.m. – Caller reported an injured beaver in the 1700 block of Ninth. Officer relocated the beaver to the river.

7:03 p.m. – Jamison Page Weist, 50, cited for driving uninsured, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

Dec. 18

1:12 p.m. – Caller turned in a bicycle he found, Main and 18th. Placed in found property.

7:35 p.m. – Caller turned in two 9 mm rounds at the Sweet Home Police Department, 1950 Main St..

9:18 p.m. – Caller reported a restraining order violation, 4000 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.

Dec. 17

6:13 a.m. – Caller reported water flowing into his residence from the ditch, 3800 block of Long. Public Works advised, and caller advised where to get sand bags.

9:32 a.m. – Single-vehicle crash into a ditch, Eighth and Alder. No injuries. No citations. Damage was under $1,500.

11:42 a.m. – Callers reported a dump truck dropped large rocks on Main Street, between Pleasant Valley and Highway 228. Oregon Department of Transportation scooped up the rocks.

12:26 p.m. – Caller found and turned in a golden necklace, 1500 block of Main. Placed in found property.

12:45 p.m. – Amanda June Herbert, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of offensive littering and second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon.

2:16 p.m. – Caller found and turned in a set of keys found in the street, 800 block of Main. Placed in found property.

3:55 p.m. – Caller reported that someone used his debit card, 1100 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $7.

8:54 p.m. – Rebecca Charlene Fox, 18, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of assaulting a public safety officer, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

11:50 p.m. – Julia Anne Payne, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

Dec. 16

12:16 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a bicycle storage shed, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Unknown if anything taken.

2:14 p.m. – Matthew Charles Nill, 32, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem. Cited and released.

3:55 p.m. – Caller reported a three-wheeler stolen, 2200 block of Long. Report taken. Valued at $680.

4:37 a.m. – Caller reported a female just attempted to cash a check that she said he had written for her. The caller did not write the check. Officer responded. Investigation continuing.

Dec. 15

9:01 a.m. – Caller reported a license plate stolen from his pickup within the last six weeks, 1400 block of 60th. Report taken.

10:39 a.m. – A 17-year-old male taken into custody and referred to Juvenile Department and Jessica Paige Carroll, 18, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, Sankey Park. Both released to parents. Officer had located two students jumping the fence at the location.

11:21 a.m. – Caller reported his Key Bank account had been hacked, 5400 block of Quince. Information noted.

12:34 p.m. – Frank Joseph Coelho, 60, cited and released in field for misdemeanor driving while suspended and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 4900 block of Main.

2:12 p.m. – R.C. Phillips, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Parole and Probation. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:22 p.m. – Caller said there is a transient camp starting to be set up on North River across from the cemetery. No additional report was taken.

5:26 p.m. – Caller reported someone living in an RV, 900 block of Pinetop. Referred to code enforcement.

6:55 p.m. – Caller reported a male yelling, cursing and digging in dumpsters and would like an officer to check on him, 1209 Main St. Officer contacted male, who was upset about a confederate judge taking away his right to bear a firearm, 1200 block of Main. Other than that, he was fine.

9:23 p.m. – Tony Ray Kittrell, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 12th and Juniper. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:37 p.m. – Caller reported a male jumping a fence and taking a tire, 4400 block of Main. Report taken for first-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. Items recovered. Valued at $2,138.

Dec. 14

2:07 p.m. – Caller said yesterday he was in the 52800 block of Santiam Hwy. and a male was spinning out and sprayed caller’s vehicle with rocks. Caller did not realize until the time of the call that there was damage. No additional report was taken.

3:20 p.m. – Caller reported a scam involving a rifle, 1000 block of Fifth. Information noted.

6:31 p.m. – Caller reported a male acting strangely, 1300 block of Main. He had a fire extinguisher with him and left it behind at the location. Officer seized extinguisher as found property.

Dec. 12

7:51 a.m. – Caller heard from another person that they saw a vehicle off the side of the hill at Pleasant Valley and Port. No additional report was taken.

10:55 a.m. – A tree fell across the road in the 41700 block of Marks Ridge. It blocked one lane. No additional report was necessary.

12:34 p.m. – Caller in the 26700 block of Fern Ridge Rd. requested a deputy at the location because a male telling her friends to get off the property is a male that she had already trespassed from her property.

Dec. 11

11:50 a.m. – A resident in the 28200 block of Scott Mountain Rd. had concerns about her neighbor’s dog killing her ducks and chickens. This is an ongoing problem.

Dec. 9

1:05 p.m. – There was a report of criminal mischief five miles east of Camp Tadmore. An incident report was taken.

2:05 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 43100 block of McDowell Creek Dr. People were picking up brass from other other people shooting. No additional report was taken.

5:57 p.m. – Caller reported five dogs at large in the 28100 block of Ridgeway. The caller said the dogs lived at an address but was unable to approach the dogs or the home.
