Dec. 18

4:06 a.m. – Geremy George Byzewski, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Linn County. Cited and released.

9:41 a.m. – David Russell Coats, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for fourth-degree assault, driving under the influence, two counts of probation violation (owes five days in jail) and contempt of court and charged with third-degree escape and misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:05 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle left in his yard, 1500 block of Long. Placed in found property.

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported a dog had been on her porch for two days, 500 block of Elm. Dog taken to Police Department. Dog Control advised.

Dec. 17

12:21 a.m. – Brandy Lyn Parker, 35, cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, 2200 block of Main.

2:50 a.m. – Samuel Armstrong Monroe Jr., 39, arrested on state warrant for absconding and charged with possession of meth and third-degree escape, First and Holley. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:03 a.m. – Dustine Kyle Coughran, 26, charged with second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Jail.

9:48 a.m. – Officer located a male with warrants, 900 block of 13th. Male ran from officer. Report taken for attempting to elude an officer. Vehicle impounded as a hazard.

10:40 a.m. – Steven Dale Bergevin, 28, arrested for second-degree theft, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Cited and released.

10:52 a.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Sweet Home Public Library. Cited and released.

11:44 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of an iPhone, 1025 Long St., Bohemian Tavern. She was able to track it to another location in town. Officer was able to locate the phone and return it. Report taken.

11:56 a.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 10th and Main. No injuries. No citations.

5:39 p.m. – Stacy Manuel Teixeira, 51, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 13th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:43 p.m. – Caller reported a residence was burglarized, 900 block of Fourth. Report taken. Loss valued at $12,000.

Dec. 16

10:01 a.m. – Caller reported that her ex-boyfriend was in her house and left a note and picture on the fridge, 1200 block of Nandina. The window was open in the kitchen. Report taken.

11:31 a.m. – Lester Lee Hendrix Jr., 41, arrested on Marion County warrant for contempt of court, Northside Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:50 a.m. – Caller reported packages taken, 1200 block of 46th. Packages were replaced by Target. Information noted.

12:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male on the phone saying he had kidnapped his daughter and was asking for a ransom, 4400 block of Main. Officer responded, and the caller was able to reach his daughter, who was at work. The phone call was a scam.

1:51 p.m. – Thomas Junior Hernandez, 53, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation, 47th Avenue. Cited and released.

2:23 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle has been parked on the street for a few weeks blocking the street sweeper, 4100 block of Osage. Vehicle posted for removal.

2:36 p.m. – Amber Elizabeth Martinez, 28, served on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of resisting arrest, Coffee Creek.

8:26 p.m. – Angelia Marie Wagner, 36, cited and released in field on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of second-degree theft and probation violation, 3137 Main St.

10:57 p.m. – Christopher Lyden, 23, cited for driving uninsured, 1300 block of Long.

11:56 p.m. – Kim Renee Lunn, 47, cited for driving uninsured, Speedee Mart, 1501 Main St.

Dec. 15

12:06 a.m. – Caller reported two males were walking down the street trying to open doors, 700 block of Long. Officer unable to locate.

4:17 a.m. – Ovid John Teixeira, 52, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 4420 Main St. Caller had reported a car parked at location. Officer contacted a male who had pulled over to fix his tire chains.

10:55 a.m. – Kenneth George Adair, 48, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, O’Reilly’s.

11:09 a.m. – Angela Kragness, 57, cited to appear on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of hit and run, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

11:39 a.m. – Caller reported trees abutting the public right-of-way, 1100 block of 27th. Referred to code enforcement.

4:04 p.m. – Michael Austin Hurley, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 3137 Main St. Cited and released.

Dec. 14

3:22 a.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and probation violation, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

6:46 a.m. – Angela Dianne May, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass, Polk County. Cited and released. Cited and released.

7:57 a.m. – Jeffery Todd Reeder, 51, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and possession of meth, 110 E. Holley Road. Transported to Linn County Jail. One caller had reported a male pulling a firearm on male teenager. Another caller had reported a male hitting a male teenager with a rake.

2:18 p.m. – Caller reported a yard debris can stolen, 300 W. Holley Road., Stonebrook Apartments. Report taken.

3:08 p.m. – Caller reported cash stolen, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

3:41 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit a mailbox and drove away, 4600 block of Main. No damage. Information noted.

4:37 a.m. – Caller said a man is stopping at mail boxes on Rowell Hill, 2700 block of Rowell Hill. The caller took a picture of the vehicle’s license plate. No additional report was taken.

5:10 p.m. – Craig James Evans, 41, cited and released in field on Philomath warrant for contempt of court on original charge of harassment, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

Dec. 13

12:34 a.m. – Kelly Bennett Taylor-Harp, 54, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass and on a Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree theft, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:15 a.m. – Caller reported two loose dogs, 1200 block of Sunset. Officer caught one dog and brought it to the Sweet Home Police Department. Officer planned to contact owner.

1:02 p.m. – Caller reported a yard light taken from the front yard, 800 block of 27th. Report taken.

1:18 p.m. – Nathan Jon Olson, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on three counts of contempt of court and cited for driving uninsured and driving on a highway divider, 5400 block of Main.

1:49 p.m. – Caller located two loose dogs. Animal control told her to bring them to Sweet Home Police Department, but SHPD was unable to take the dogs because its kennel was already full.

Dec. 12

2:41 p.m. – Caller located an electric lawn mower, 900 block of Nandina. Placed in found property.

4:26 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked for more than a month, 1000 block of Third. Tagged for removal.

4:44 p.m. – Caller reported she has had an ongoing dispute with her neighbor about him feeding her animals without her permission. No additional report was taken.

5:49 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 3100 block of Main. No injuries. No citations.

7:34 p.m. – Evalee Lynn Duncan, 47, cited for driving while suspended, Main Street Market.

Dec. 10

5:49 a.m. – A single vehicle crashed into a tree on CTC land, 26100 block of Teco Lane. Alexander David Bruce, 21, was driving when he failed to make a right turn corner and slid off the road hitting a tree. He was cited for failure to install ignition interlock device, no insurance, and no operator’s license.

Dec. 9

12:50 p.m. – Caller left their skis on the rack outside the lodge and left, Hoodoo Ski Bowl. An hour after leaving the lodge, they remembered to return for their skis, but the skis were gone. The skis were Blizzard Cochise, men’s, value of $1200. A report was taken.

1:28 p.m. – Ten cows were wandering around east of the tracks on Fairview Road. They were in the middle of the road. No report was taken.

2:11 p.m. – Caller said her rental door was kicked in but the renters have been out since Saturday, 46200 block of Santiam Highway. An incident report was taken.

7:21 p.m. – Caller said a truck dolly was stolen from outside, 40300 block of Crawfordsville Drive. An incident report was taken.

Dec. 7

8:42 p.m. – Caller said she had a gun stolen from her house yesterday and she knows who took it, 39600 block of Mountain Home Drive. A 16-year-old male took a friend’s gun without permission. The gun was returned by the suspect and he was referred to the juvenile department for charges.
