Dec. 29

12:23 a.m. – Gypsie Marie Esperum, 56, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 47th and Main.

4:12 a.m. – John Mark Taylor, 35, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief.

5:34 a.m. – Juan C. Carillo Esparza, 21, cited for driving while suspended and speeding, 51-35, Pleasant Valley and Main. Vehicle impounded.

9:55 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit a cable line, Clark Mill and Long. Comcast responded and fixed cable.

10:32 a.m. – Mason William Monroe, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and offensive littering. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Dec. 28

2:38 a.m. – Robert Leo Coakley, 50, arrested for possession of meth, 2400 block of Main. Cited and released.

10:43 a.m. – James Everett Tagen, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, Lebanon. Cited and released.

10:44 a.m. – Travis Trent Stach, 24, arrested for third-degree theft, and Christopher Thomas Meredith, 27, arrested for third-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 900 block of Nandina St. Officer had responded to a caller reporting three males taking cans from the location. Officer located two at 1540 Main St., Safeway. Stach cited and released. Meredith transported to Linn County Jail.

11:34 a.m. – Hailee Jo Smith-Daggett, 21, cited and released in field for criminal trespass.

11:45 a.m. – Leslie Lee Gibson, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

11:49 a.m. – Doneeka Kiwanis Colburn, 22, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

12:29 p.m. – Robert Dean Whitton, 60, arrested on Marion County warrant for contempt of court, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:03 p.m. – Caller reported her cell phone was stolen a couple of weeks earlier and is now pinging off Clark Mill Road, 1800 block of Vine. Officer determined it may have been taken in Lacomb and then located a smashed phone on Clark Mill.

2:37 p.m. – Todd Jeremy Clark, 39, cited and released in field on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

6:04 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked for several days, 100 block of Highway 228. Vehicle posted for removal.

Dec. 27

2:58 a.m. – Linda Lou Roite, 58, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1653 53rd Ave. Cited, held for detox and released.

9:04 a.m. – Bradley Edward Amundsen, 34, arrested on Linn Cuonty warrant for contempt of court on original charge of interfering with a police officer and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and cited for possession of meth, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

10:49 a.m. – Caller reported her vehicle had been hit or someone keyed it, 1800 block of Fir. Report taken.

11:33 a.m. – Jacob Evans Tanner Watkins, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

3:15 p.m. – Caller reported a lock and fence broken, 1700 block of Main. Report taken.

8:13 p.m. – Brittany Rae Spradlin, 24, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, Long Street in front of the Skate Park.

10:19 p.m. – Jeremiah Jerry Wolford, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for contempt of court and cited for driving while suspended, 2200 block of Main. Cited and released.

Dec. 26

2:36 a.m. – Sherri Lynn Smith, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, Albany. Cited and released.

6:29 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Browand, 21, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of first-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree burglary, 1890 Kalmia St.

7:01 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a pair of shoes, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Report taken. Loss valued at $39.98.

7:39 p.m. – Aaron Joseph Elia, 26, cited for speeding, 55-35, Evergreen Lane.

8:12 p.m. – Jeffrey Aaron Smith, 34, cited for no insurance, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park.

Dec. 25

2:13 a.m. – Thomas Charles Trotts, 40, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of distribution of marijuana, Highway 228 and First. Cited and released.

11:28 a.m. – Caller reported male and female stealing $2.50 in items, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken.

12:51 p.m. – Caller found a laundry basket of new items in the roadway, Highway 20 and Clark Mill. Property claimed and returned to owner.

3:38 p.m. – Caller reported a non-injury motor vehicle collision, 14th and Elm. A male ran from a vehicle. Report taken for hit and run.

3:41 p.m. – Caller reported a male broke the fence trying to get into Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park, 1530 Tamarack St. report taken for criminal mischief. Loss valued at $50.

7:59 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke the mirror off the side of his vehicle, 500 block of Juniper. Report taken.

Dec. 24

4:58 a.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 200 block of Main. No injuries. No citations. Both vehicles drivable. Report taken.

7:58 a.m. – Caller reported being beaten up and thrown out of the house. Report taken for harassment.

10:05 a.m. – Officer located stop sign and speed sign that had been spray painted, Mountain View and Long. Officer located several additional locations, with multiple victims, with the word “Rage” and drug-related words painted. Public Works notified.

10:36 a.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 1200 block of 43rd. Report taken.

12:41 p.m. – A tree partially blocked one lane, Highway 20 and Wiley Creek. Public Works and ODOT responded. Roadway cleared.

11:13 p.m. – Caller reported someone had just stolen all her yard decorations, 1200 block of 40th. Report taken. Loss valued at $115.

Dec. 23

12:58 a.m. – Jay John Albert Baker Jr., 18, cited for no license and driving uninsured, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

10:50 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 2200 block of Tamarack. Report taken.

12:51 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of medication, apparently while in shipping transit, 23000 block of Brush Creek.

1:09 p.m. – Caller reported her credit card had been used fraudulently, 4300 block of Long. Report taken.

4:09 p.m. – Caller reported a Christmas wreath stolen from her garage door, 2900 block of Jefferson. Information noted.

4:21 p.m. – Damian Nicolas Hernandez, 34, cited for no license in two-vehicle crash, 1300 block of Long. No injuries. Did not block lanes. Second driver was Ronald Keith Mead, 60.

5:18 p.m. – Donald Wayne Ames, 51, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Cottage Grove. Cited and released.

6:51 p.m. – Caller reported a PlayStation stolen, 1800 block of Cedar. Report taken.

7:12 p.m. – Tony Scott Harden, 23, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Cited and released.

11:31 p.m. – Caller reported a fight, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Officer responded. Investigation continuing.

Dec. 22

6 a.m. – Bobby Ray Fowler, 53, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

11:42 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of 130 gallons of diesel fuel from three vehicles, 28200 block of Highway 20. Report taken.

1:35 p.m. – Caller reported a suspicious male in the backroom checking everything out, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted caller, who provided a physical description of the male. Officer would be on the lookout.

3:45 p.m. – Caller reported catching a male walking through her backyard, 1200 block of 46th. When she confronted him, he hid in her bushes. Officer responded and checked the area but was unable to locate the subject.

8:18 p.m. – Dean Patrick McCartin, 59, cited for driving uninsured, Cedar and 23rd.

8:22 p.m. – Caller reported a male taking items off the shelf and attempting to return them for in-store credit, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

Dec. 21

4:38 p.m. – James David Stedman, 58, arrested for driving under the influence and misdemeanor driving while suspended, 6100 block of Main. Cited and released.

6:03 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a chainsaw, 1200 block of 37th. Information noted.

6:51 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a gun worth $1,100, 1200 block of 49th. Report taken.

10 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of two Blu-Ray discs and returned them for store credit, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

11:50 p.m. – Scott Anthony Hall, 55, arrested for attempting to elude a police officer on foot and cited for driving while suspended and failure to use signal, Main and Clark Mill. Cited and released.

11:09 a.m. – Caller reported finding a small lockbox alongside High Deck 500 road.

Dec. 18

1:32 p.m. – Eric Sheets cited for careless driving single-vehicle crash, 27000 block of Rowell Hill Road. No injuries.
