Dec. 7

11 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in the parking lot for several days, blocking garbage cans. Officer advised that he would try to contact the registered owner but if unable, the caller would like the vehicle posted for removal.

Dec. 6

2:29 a.m. – Amber Rae Bly, 24, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 1100 block of Nandina.

8:53 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his shop and stole tools and other items, 1100 block of 48th. Report taken. Loss valued at $2,000.

3:06 p.m. – Caller reported that a male subject exposed himself to a small child, 1100 block of 13th. Officer responded. Further information revealed that the subject urinated with his back to a vehicle that was occupied by a child. The officer contacted the suspect, who denied the reported activity. Officer counseled the subject for his actions and warned him for urinating in public.

4:48 p.m. – Caller reported that while he was inside the Sweet Home Public Libary, 1101 13th Ave., someone stole the collar and leash from his dog. Information noted.

6:05 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 3224 Main St., South Fork trailer park. Report taken.

6:15 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $2.49.

9:28 p.m. – Caller reported two subjects fighting, one being hit with a pipe, 500 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.

11:12 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog got into her backyard and bit her dog and her son, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Dog quarantined.

Dec. 5

12:31 a.m. – Caller reported finding a bloody syringe, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded. Item was actually a ball point pen.

10:35 a.m. – Caller reported wood stolen from trees cut down on his property, 1600 block of 11th.

11:08 a.m. – Caller reported a couch and garbage left in field, 1100 block of 29th. Referred to code enforcement.

11:41 a.m. – Michael Scott Branton, 39, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 4000 block of Main.

1:44 p.m. – Caller reported someone breaking mirrors on his pickup, 900 block of Nandina. Report taken.

1:57 p.m. – Caller reported finding marijuana in a coat pocket, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Property seized.

3:12 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her Social Security card. Information noted.

5:26 p.m. – Kevin Roy Hampton, 52, cited and released in field for misdemeanor driving while suspended, driving uninsured, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to register vehicle, Shea Point.

7:57 p.m. – Jeremiah Jerry Rawland, 35, cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended.

9:04 p.m. – Caller reported a juvenile in the emergency room with a knife wound to the face. Juvenile advised that the incident occurred when he was playing around with his friends. Officer counseled juvenile who inflicted the injury.

Dec. 4

9:46 a.m. – Callers reported a male breaking a window and beating up his girlfriend, 3100 block of Main. Female transported to the hospital by ambulance. She did not want to speak to the officer. Report taken for felony domestic violence and criminal mischief. Investigation continuing.

11:08 a.m. – Phillip Randall Passmore, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of hit and run, Lebanon. Cited and released.

3:39 p.m. – Brandon Ryan Freeman, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of contempt of court, 18th and Main.

9:56 p.m. – Michael Scott Doyle, 45, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Hilltop Market.

Dec. 3

7:49 a.m. – Caller reported a tarp stolen from a sandbox, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $10.

9:14 a.m. – Caller reported an unpermitted driveway, 1000 block of 38th. Referred to code enforcement.

10:12 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle damaged while parked at Safeway, 1540 Main St. Report taken.

10:38 a.m. – Caller reported garbage and vehicles left on property, which has no running water or electricity, 2300 block of Harding. Referred to code enforcement.

10:44 a.m. – Fifteen-year-old girl referred to Juvenile Department for third-degree theft, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Caller had reported a female stealing a pack of gum.

12:03 p.m. – Caller reported a dog bite victim at the emergency room at Albany General Hospital. Report taken.

12:27 p.m. – Caller reported a brown pickup piled up with garbage, 2700 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

2:02 p.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 44, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, Strawberry Park.

5:15 p.m. – Caller reported hearing what sounded like she clipped a small school bus, Main and 12th. When she went back, they were gone. Caller had minor damage to mirror. Report taken.

Dec. 2

3 a.m. – Daniel Eugene McCarty, 56, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to register as a sex offender, alley behind Steelhead Fitness. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:22 a.m. – Freddie Leon Sieber, 53, cited for driving while suspended, Ninth and Nandina.

6:11 a.m. – Sheree Lynn Daniels, 64, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

10:57 a.m. – Ronald Scott Edgar Tracy, 20, arrested on Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass (owed 12 days in jail) and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and probation violation; and James Robert Warrington, 37, cited for an open container of alcohol, 1520 Nandina St. Tracy transported to Linn County Jail.

12:16 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her home and took two saws, 900 block of Long. Report taken. Saws valued at $250.

1:20 p.m. – David Allen La Fore, 53, arrested on five counts of first-degree sexual abuse, 111 Ninth Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:12 p.m. – Caller reported a burned motor home at location for several weeks, behind The Point Restaurant. Referred to code enforcement.

2:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male stopping vehicles asking for money, 1300 block of Long.

2:55 p.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 25, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of heroin and on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1203 Long St. Caller had reported the male from the previous call in front of the restaurant yelling at customers asking for money. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:21 p.m. – Caller reported a rooster crowing all day long, 1100 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

4:59 p.m. – Caller reported that someone ordered a tablet and some other items using his Verizon account, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken.

9:34 p.m. – Ladonna Gayle Bales, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant or failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft. Cited and released.

Dec. 1

11:02 a.m. – Caller reported five dogs living at location, and caller doesn’t believe they are vaccinated or registered, 4200 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

12:30 p.m. – Connie Jean Swanson, 31, cited for following too closely in two-vehicle crash, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Second driver was Julie Mae Haskett, 47, who was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by ambulance.

4:02 p.m. – Jeremiah Luke Robles, 18, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

5:53 p.m. – Nene Mauer Garcia, 20, cited for speeding, 42-25, Mountain View and 22nd.

Nov. 30

9:55 a.m. – Caller reported a loose bull, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer responded. The owner responded and walked it back home.

10:37 a.m. – Caller reported discarded vehicles, 900 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

10:40 a.m. – Caller reported discarded vehicles, 1100 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

11:01 a.m. – Caller reported a resident burning garbage, 1800 block of Elm. Referred to code enforcement.

11:57 a.m. – Caller reported a residential fuel tank in public view, 1100 block of Mountain View. Referred to code enforcement.

12:12 p.m. – Caller reported a fraudulent check went through her bank account, 1300 block of Evergreen. Unknown where the check was used. Information noted.

Nov. 29

11:11 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of $10 worth of candy. Report taken.

2:04 p.m. – Caller reported that a male pulled down his pants in front of several children the previous night, 1100 block of 28th. Information noted. Unknown who the male subject was.

5:45 p.m. – Jessikah Ann Harris, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Benton County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Nov. 28

4:01 p.m. – Multiple-vehicle crash on Quartzville near Green Peter Dam. No injuries.

Nov. 27

8:06 a.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s goats keep getting in her yard, 1000 block of North River.

Nov. 26

7:32 a.m. – Joshua Lutz, 36, cited for failure to perform the duties of a driver in a multiple-vehicle crash, 26600 block of Pickett. No injuries.

Nov. 25

2:49 p.m. – Zackary Botts, 25, arrested for resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, first-degree criminal trespass and first-degree burglary, 40100 block of Highway 228. Caller had reported three people fighting.
