Feb. 9

4:15 a.m. – Caller reported he was hit by a vehicle while walking on Ames Creek Road in the dark, 42600 block of Ames Creek. Report taken.

Feb. 8

9:34 p.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, Turbyne and Paddock. No injuries.

Feb. 6

1:01 p.m. – Jimmie Lee Barton, 46, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis.

1:13 p.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis.

1:26 p.m. – Codie Joe Holley, 19, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and failure to appear on a criminal citation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:09 p.m. – Jeffrey Jerome Kessinger, 52, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Linn County.

2:39 p.m. – Caller reported people dumping paint down a storm drain, Nandina and 48th. Officer contacted residents, who admitted dumping old yogurt into a storm drain. Residents had developmental issues and did not understand why this was unacceptable. Officer educated and warned the residents for their actions.

6:39 p.m. – Cody Allen Bowman, 30, arrested for hit and run with property damage, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

10 p.m. – Austin Wayne Sater, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Albany.

Feb. 5

10:18 a.m. – Tommy Burke, 31, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear, 1364 Main St., Dairy Queen.

1:56 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs went after her and her dogs, 5th and Elm. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate.

1:58 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a male was yelling and running somewhat out into traffic, 2300 block of Main. Officer responded and located a relatively calm male sitting on the sidewalk reading out loud from the Bible.

2:25 p.m. – Nicholas Adam Ames, 30, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail. Callers had reported a male in a red sweatshirt acting aggressively toward customers and pounding on a car with a hammer.

3:47 p.m. – Amanda Leah Binks, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of disorderly conduct, Prineville.

5:52 p.m. – Caller reported that an intoxicated driver ran into the caller’s bushes and his vehicle was stuck in the caller’s yard, 1300 block of Westwood. Driver fled before officers arrived. Report taken for hit and run. Vehicle impounded.

6:44 p.m. – Officer located a single vehicle crash, 18th and Main. Report taken. No injuries. Vehicle towed off of the median. Damage less than $2,500.

6:44 p.m. – Caller reported loose cattle, 27700 block of Scott Mountain. Deputies were able to remove the cattle from the road and contact the owner.

7:49 p.m. – Denise Rochelle Burrow, 53, arrested for first-degree burglary and theft of services, 1100 block of 24th. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Feb. 4

4:32 a.m. – David Melvin Buck, 26, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and felon in possession of a restricted weapon, Eugene.

10:13 a.m. – Caller reported his pickup had been scratched, 1800 block of Elm. Report taken.

11:07 a.m. – Frank Archie Thompson II arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Albany.

11:42 a.m. – Caller reported she had a lost dog, 1800 block of Grape. Dog returned to owner. Owner counseled for dog at large.

3:06 p.m. – Caller reported a male sleeping in a vehicle that the caller had posted for removal, 1400 block of Nandina. Officer contacted the male, who was trespassed from the location after pushing the vehicle off of the property.

5:33 p.m. – Caller found a dog on Sunnyside Drive, 1200 block of Long. Dog placed in kennel. Deputy picked up the dog later.

11:53 p.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 41900 block of North River. No injuries.

Feb. 3

11:41 a.m. – Multiple callers reported a male yelling in the area, 1200 block of Long. Officer located a male who was sitting on the sidewalk talking to himself. No crimes reported.

11:44 a.m. – Caller found a dog, 100 block of 7th. Dog placed in kennel. Photo posted to Facebook. Linn County Animal Control notified.

11:50 a.m. – Daniel Joseph Carrico, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply, Albany.

12:14 p.m. – Jeremy Kirk Gross, 32, arrested on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for probation violation and cited for driving while suspended, 40700 block of Country Lane. Cited and released.

12:32 p.m. – Caller reported to the Sweet Home Police Department that the Police Department was hacking her email. Officer responded and advised the caller that the Police Department was not hacking her email.

12:43 p.m. – Caller reported that someone wrote on her vehicle, 1100 block of 29th. Information noted. Caller did not want to pursue charges. Caller requested that the female responsible be counseled.

3:08 p.m. – Caller reported fraud on several credit cards, 300 block of W. Holley Road. Report taken.

3:28 p.m. – Caller found a chainsaw, 46800 block of Whiskey Butte. Deputy to attempt to locate owner.

3:48 p.m. – Caller requested that an officer pick up a dog found at Shotgun Creek. Dog placed in kennel. Linn County Animal Control notified.

7:55 p.m. – R.A. Ross Allen Scott arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Newport.

9:59 p.m. – Ronald Drury, 58, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender, Sweet Home warrant for failure to register as a sex offender and a new charge of failure to register as a sex offender, 1285 Poplar St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:10 p.m. – Carrie Ann Giles, 39, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Cited and released. Caller had reported a female intruder in the choir room.
