Feb. 22

10:28 a.m. – A 3-year-old called 9-1-1 because his sister was being mean. Linn County dispatcher wrote, “We talked. He cried. He was fine. No further action.”

Feb. 21

7:30 a.m. – Caller reported a male and female came onto the caller’s front porch requesting to contact 9-1-1 for a gunshot wound, 28100 block of Ridgeway. Male was found to have a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to the hospital. The female attempted to flee the scene for unknown reasons. The female was detained nearby by Linn County deputies. Investigation continuing.

Feb. 20

7;19 a.m. – Report taken for criminal mischief, 45200 block of Wiley Creek.

Feb. 19

12:37 a.m. – Cody Allen Lovely, 23, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of minor in possession of marijuana, Lester Sales. Cited and released.

3:09 a.m. – Crystal Dawn Strickland, 30, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree forgery, Sankey Park. Cited and released.

6:52 a.m. – Caller reported a window broken out and items taken, 890 18th Ave., Boys and Girls Club. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and theft. Loss valued at $220.

7:20 a.m. – Felisia Pecue, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on a criminal driving charge and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 17th and Elm. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

9:05 a.m. – Caller reported a cargo trailer stolen, 1200 block of 46th. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,000.

11:32 a.m. – A 15-year-old female referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of tobacco, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park.

4:06 p.m. – Caller reported two males around the age of 20 walking near Highway 228 and Highway 20. One was carrying a rifle. Officers unable to locate.

7:31 p.m. – Michelle Leigh Melbye, 48, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, 1500 block of Main. Cited and released. Caller had reported an argument among three people and punches had possibly been thrown. Investigation pending regarding the disturbance.

7:32 p.m. – Caller reported that her roommate left illegal substances in her apartment, 1100 block of 29th. Officer seized the illegal substances.

9:45 p.m. – Letter sent to the registered owner of a vehicle involved in a violation of Oregon school bus stop law, 47th Avenue.

9:49 p.m. – Letter sent to the registered owner of a vehicle involved in a violation of Oregon school bus stop law, 3200 block of Main.

10:06 p.m. – Letter sent to the registered owner of a vehicle involved in a violation of Oregon school bus stop law, 2200 block of Main.

10:07 p.m. – Letter sent to the registered owner of a vehicle involved in a violation of Oregon school bus stop law, 22nd and Main.

10:09 p.m. – Letter sent to the registered owner of a vehicle involved in a violation of Oregon school bus stop law, 2200 block of Main.

10:50 p.m. – Caller reported that he left his firearm in an unlocked vehicle and the firearm is now missing, 6000 block of Main. Report taken.

Feb. 18

3:59 am. – Veronica Sue Szuch, 23, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, Main and 19th.

8:54 a.m. – Caller reported a stray dog, 42300 block of Marks Ridge. Deputy unable to locate.

9:33 a.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a homeless male sleeping in front of Santiam Feed, 1244 Long St. Officer contacted a female, who was fine.

10:29 a.m. – Caller reported a male with a firearm walking down the side of the street, 4900 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.

10:35 a.m. – Christopher Chaney, 32, arrested on Brownsville warrant for contempt of court, 3381 Juniper St. Cited and released. Caller had reported her ex-boyfriend had taken her vehicle. Vehicle was at location upon officer arrival, and the issue had been resolved.

12:51 p.m. – Oregon State Police arrested Chantel Jeanette Scott, 39, on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.

3:01 p.m. – Kaby Patricia Keith Heidt, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

4:01 p.m. – Colby Decleve, 26, arrrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of methamphetamine and second-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on a citation; Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft; Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft; Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of theft; and new charges of providing false information to police and third-degree theft, 2300 block of Harding. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:27 p.m. – Caller reported her dog was attacked by a pit bull, 1700 block of 8th. Caller signed a citation for dog at large, but officer was unable to contact the owner and serve the citation.

5:02 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was at location and asked to leave, 1800 block of Tamarack. Officer responded and told the male to leave. The male left.

5:16 p.m. – Officer located a male occupying an RV, 1800 block of Tamarack. Officer advised him of the city ordinance. He will have to move the RV by the following week.

5:17 p.m. – Officer located a trailer that had been parked for several days, 400 block of Elm. Trailer posted for removal.

5:48 p.m. – Robert John Culver, 43, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Linn County Jail.

11:35 p.m. – Dan Christopher Boatwright cited for illegal display of plates, 12th and Kalmia.

Feb. 17

12:23 a.m. – Anthony Edward Jackson arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

7:47 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a trailer within the previous two weeks, 4309 Main St., South Fork Trading Company.Report taken. Loss valued at $900.

9:54 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog in the area, 1200 block of 45th. Officer responded. Owner was unaware the dog was loose. Officer warned the owner for dog at large.

10:40 a.m. – Travis Gary Hummer, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on a criminal driving charge, 30500 block of Merry Lane, Lebanon.

10:59 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a tip jar, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Caller only wanted the female trespassed if located.

11:27 a.m. – Multiple callers reported a male in the area, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office, talking to himself and waving a hatchet around. Officer contacted the male, who said he was carrying the hatchet as part of his religious beliefs. Officer advised him of the public concern, and the male agreed to tone it down. The officer also informed him that if there were further calls, enforcement may be taken against him.

1:14 p.m. – Linn County deputies recovered a stolen vehicle, 44000 block of Whiskey Butte.

2:06 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles inside a vacant residence throwing things around, 1500 block of Long. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

2:32 p.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 800 block of Main. No injuries. No citations. Report taken. Information exchanged. Damage estimated at more than $2,500.

4 p.m. – Caller reported her daughter intentionally damaged a wall, 3100 block of Long. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

7:55 p.m. – Tony Roebuck, 26, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft and a Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation; and Amanda Binks, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 2400 block of Long. Caller had reported his stolen vehicle was at the location. The caller just wanted the vehicle back. Vehicle returned to caller.

11:03 p.m. – Officer located a cut fence, 1400 24th Ave., Sweet Home Public Works.

Feb. 16

9:27 a.m. – Caller reported loose dogs in the area, 800 block of 3rd. Officer responded. Dogs returned to property prior to arrival. Officer spoke with an adult at the residence. She said the dogs are able to jump the fence. Officer advised her of the complaint and encouraged her to fix the fence.

10:43 a.m. – Caller reported a license plate taken from a vehicle a couple of days earlier, 1400 block of 53rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $35. The caller also found a license plate that had been left behind. Officer seized the plate as stolen.

10:51 a.m. – Nicholas Scot Warren, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on three original charges of third-degree theft and an original charge of second-place criminal trespass, Cornerstone Fellowship. Cited and released.

12:08 p.m. – Lebanon Police Department recovered the license plate reported stolen earlier in the day.

12:54 p.m. – Caller reported the front door of a residence was open and dogs were outside and in the roadway, 3200 block of Main. Officer checked the residence. Nothing suspicious found. Officer was able to return all animals to the residence and secure the door. Responsible person advised.

3:37 p.m. – Caller reported a laptop taken from a vehicle, 845 6th Ave., Sweet Home United Methodist Church. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,500.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported a yellow box attached to her fence, 1300 block of 13th. Officer located the suspicious item, which turned out to be a dollhouse refrigerator. Officer disposed of the item.

5:21 p.m. – Caller reported a male carrying an ax walking on the side of the road, 4200 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.

5:49 p.m. – Chadd Wendell Nickle, 31, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 2000 block of 18th. Cited and released.

9:16 p.m. – Denise Rochelle Burrow, 53, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine; and Allen Dale Ensley, 30, arrested on Deschutes County warrant for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, behind the Boys and Girls Club. Both cited and released.

10:14 p.m. – Linda Evelene Kennedy, 29, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

Feb. 15

4:29 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Report taken. Loss valued at $3.28.

6:54 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle abandoned and stripped, 47th and railroad tracks. Vehicle located on private property. Report taken for offensive littering. Investigation continuing.

11:04 p.m. – Samuel Armstrong Monroe, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended, Deschutes County.

Feb. 14

11:54 a.m. – Caller reported her credit card had been used. Report taken.

2:27 p.m. – Caller reported a Toyota 4-Runner with a temporary sticker had been parked at Strawberry Park for four days, 1300 block of Westwood.

5:57 p.m. – Caller reported that a transient female was behind the Rio Theatre, 1439 Main St., near the big tree yelling at people and her dog was nipping at people. Caller asked her to leave, and she told him no. Officer responded. Female was no longer on the property.

8:46 p.m. – Robert Michael Butterfield, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.
