8:06 a.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 25, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1200 block of Long.
10:07 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle keyed in four different places, 400 block of 11th. Report taken. Loss valued at $500.
1:28 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke out the window in her vehicle and entered it, 5400 block of Main. Report taken. Stolen property valued at $10.
2:53 p.m. – Kenneth George Adair II, 47, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended and probation violation, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.
5:12 p.m. – Caller reported $500 worth of batteries taken from his porch, 1400 block of 22nd.
6 p.m. – Vehicle high-centered on the median strip, 1500 block of Main. Report taken. Damage estimated at more than $1,500.
10:52 p.m. – Caller reported that subjects stole cough syrup, 1540 Main St., Safeway. While officer was taking a report, the suspect returned to pay for items.

8:53 a.m. – Caller turned in Chevrolet key and a key fob found at Dogwood and 17th. Placed in found property.
8:58 a.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found in the 2200 block of Main. Placed in found property.
10:20 p.m. – Caller reported that someone threw a rock through the front window, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $50 to $100.
11:11a.m. – Officer flagged down for a dog that was found, 600 block of Main. Dog placed in kennel.
2:51 p.m. – Mehgan Necole Dean, 21, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Polk County Jail.
3:50 p.m. – Caller reported two vehicles parked for several months, 800 block of Fourth. One is parked on the road and has flat tires. The other is in a driveway. Referred to code enforcement.
4:21 p.m. – Caller reported a death threat against him and children, 1800 block of Ulex. Report taken.
5:40 p.m. – Caller found climbing rigging in the middle of the road, Highway 228 and Main. Placed in found property.
9:30 p.m. – Caller reported being involved in an accident 20 minutes earlier, 22nd and Long. No injuries. Report taken.
Feb. 11
4:05 p.m. – Brian Lee Richardson, 42, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and first-degree rape, 234 Holley Road. The district attorney filed a charge of second-degree sexual abuse instead of the rape charge. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male entering her room and trying to take her phone away. When she wouldn’t give it to him, the male assaulted her.
9:19 a.m. – Gary Gean Townsend, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Ashland. Cited and released.
12:03 p.m. – Tiffany Ann Persinger, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, The Dalles. Cited and released.
12:05 p.m. – Caller reported the fraudulent use of a credit card, 5900 block of Nandina. Report taken.
2:54 p.m. – Caller reported that a student turned in a marijuana pipe, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Property seized.
3:44 p.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 20, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 block of Nandina. Cited and released.
5:29 p.m. – Paul William Kalina, 40, arrested for possession of meth and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used or sold and cited for open storage of trash, 927 27th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:09 p.m. – Caller reported a fishing tackle bag taken from his front porch, 4600 block of Mahogany. Report taken. Loss valued at $576.

12:17 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle, 1000 block of 13th. Report taken.
9:17 a.m. – Debra Lucy Sloan, 58, cited and released in the field on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 3100 block of Main.
9:34 a.m. – Caller reported someone dumping household garbage over the bank, 4300 block of Osage. Referred to code enforcement officer.
9:48 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a house she is caring for, and a vehicle is missing, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.
9:52 a.m. – Officer recovered 13 tires that may have been stolen from Les Schwab Tire Center in Independence, 2200 block of Larch.
11:16 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bank card and EBT card from her wallet. Information noted.
1:29 p.m. – Matthew Ellis Claxton, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court, 3137 Main St. Cited and released.
2:01 p.m. – Police received information that a student possibly had a gun on campus, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. School staff investigated and found that it was an airsoft gun. Student disciplined at the school level. No crime.
9:27 p.m. – Officer located a male hitting a post, 41st and Long. Officer contacted homeowner, who did not wish to pursue charges. Male was warned for criminal mischief.
10:23 p.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 27, arrested for providing false information to a police officer and on Brownsville and Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on a criminal citation and cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance. Brittany Ann Mahlee Gibson, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and unauthorized departure and charged with possession of meth. Kyle James Elmer, 24, arrested for possession of meth and heroin, Clark Mill and Long. Vehicle impounded. Elmer and Welch cited and released. Gibson transported to Linn County Jail.

8:54 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stabbed many holes in the sewage line of the caller’s trailer, 2200 block of Main. Report taken.
10:17 p.m. – Cody Lee Vern Jones, 34, cited for failure to obey traffic control device, 147 Eighth Ave.
12:48 p.m. – Caller found a large kitchen knife in her shrubbery, 700 block of Ninth. Seized and placed in evidence.
1:08 p.m. – Caller reported that someone used her Social Security number to file taxes, 3100 block of Main. Report taken.
3:39 p.m. – Tabatha Lynn Rhodes, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

10:42 a.m. – Caller reported homeless persons camping out under the carport, 1575 Main St., Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce. Referred to code enforcement.
1:22 p.m. – Jordan Scott Carter, 25, arrested on three counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal mischief, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Cited and released.
1:41 p.m. – Brook Marie Winney, 26, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended and for probation violation. Cited and released.
4:36 p.m. – Konane Leslie, 22, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Long and 12th.
8:16 p.m. – Caller reported that someone egged her house, 1100 block of Nandina. Report taken.
9:55 p.m. – Alejandro Martinez Arciniega, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of disorderly conduct, Albany. Cited and released.

12:25 p.m. – Caller said someone stole her purse from Cascadia Bible Church. The incident is under investigation.
7:45 p.m. – Scott James Lutz, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County. Cited and released.
9:32 p.m. – Katrina Marie Tenbusch, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Umatilla County. Cited and released.
Feb. 6
9:04 p.m. – Caller reported a black bag with duct tape wrapped around it, 28300 block of Sodaville Mountain Home Rd. It turned out to be a “dummy” body that the property owner said they had up as a Halloween decoration but now refuses to take down. Linn County Sheriff’s Office has received calls in the past about it.
Feb. 5
5:26 p.m. – Sweet Home Police Department had a found phone they wanted LCSO to pick up. The phone was returned to its owner.
5:48 p.m. – Starr Whitman, 35, said she high-centered her car, 43100 block of McDowell Creek Dr., walked away from her car and was lost. There were other people in the car with her who stayed with the car. Whitman was found safe and arrested on an outstanding warrant. Tyler Malloy, 21, also was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
10:12 p.m. – Caller in the 40100 block of Highway 228 said he was trying to get some sleep but there is a gaggle of teenagers in the parking lot of Holley Market making too much noise. They were gone when deputies arrived.
Feb. 4
4:04 p.m. – Caller reported people living in a motorhome at the beginning of McQueen for about a week. A deputy responded but was unable to locate anyone at the motorhome. The deputy tagged the motorhome as abandoned and left a note stating that camping was not allowed at this location.
6:35 p.m. – Caller said there was a loose brown cow in the middle of the road about two blocks east of the 28600 block of Pleasant Valley Rd.
Feb. 3
7:49 a.m. – Renee Weidner, 38, arrested for misuse of 9-1-1, 28500 block of Scott Mountain Road. A deputy had responded to a reported disturbance at the location, but when the deputy arrived, an intoxicated female, Weidner, allegedly called 9-1-1 to give dispatch her side of the story instead of talking to the deputy.
