Feb. 15

8:59 a.m. – Caller reported that his neighbor’s chickens were in his yard again, 4600 block of Airport Lane. Referred to code enforcement.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $3.99.

Feb. 14

11:38 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke his front window, 900 block of Main. Report taken. Damage estimated at $200.

12:28 p.m. – Miranda Jane Heard, 28, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of probation violation, 4836 Main St.

5:09 p.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 34, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer and failure to appear on original charge of contempt of court and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, 1300 block of Main, behind the Sweet Home Liquor Store. Transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics then to Linn County Jail.

6:07 p.m. – Caller reported finding a bike frame in the bushes behind his house, 4100 block of Osage. Frame seized and placed in found property.

Feb. 13

12:57 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office served a Sweet Home no-bail hold warrant on R.C. Phillips, 46. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:38 a.m. – Caller reported that the window of her vehicle was broken, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Report taken. Damage estimated at $150.

9:03 a.m. – Travis Gary Hummer, 28, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and on Albany warrant for failure to appear on a traffic citation, 3025 Main St. Cited and released.

10:52 a.m. – Roseanna Lynn Myers, 45, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation (owes 15 days in jail), Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of harassment, and Mark Anthony Simpson, 44, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and for failure to update his sex offender registration, railroad trestle off 47th. Both transported to Linn County Jail.

1:07 p.m. – Caller reported finding a canvas shoulder bag on the floor, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Bag placed in found property.

6:22 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barks nonstop all day long, and the neighbor refuses to do anything about it, 1900 block of 37th. Officer left business card for animal owner.

7:08 p.m. – Caller reported a female was at location yelling at her and accusing her of stealing her purse and shoes and threatening customers, 4219 Main St., Ma’s Restaurant. Restaurant staff knew nothing about a purse, but shoes were given to the caller by a woman who lives near the restaurant. The female subject was trespassed from the restaurant.

11:48 p.m. – Garry Lee Pitts, 40, cited for driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle, Highway 228 near Thriftway. Vehicle impounded.

Feb. 12

2:03 a.m. – Stephanie Ryan Lanig, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of less than an ounce of a controlled substance, Multnomah County. Cited and released.

8:33 a.m. – Brandilynn Ray Marie Lovik, 18, arrested for telephonic harassment, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

8:51 a.m. – Caller reported that he believes movers stole some of his property, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Report taken. Loss valued at $420.

10:18 a.m. – Caller reported that someone activated his credit card and used it, 700 block of Maple. Report taken.

11:17 a.m. – Lacey Marie Nicole Davidson, 36, turned herself in on a Sweet home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1140 12th Ave. Cited and released in field.

11:55 a.m. – Caller reported garbage piling up in the front yard, 1600 block of 12th Avenue. Referred to code enforcement.

12:20 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s cats defecating in his yard, 1600 block of Dogwood. Referred to code enforcement.

1:09 p.m. – John Harvey O’Brien, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for felon in possession of a firearm, 1283 43rd Ave., Wagon Wheel. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:30 p.m. – Caller reported that someone painted her fence and gate, 1300 block of 13th. Report taken.

5:15 p.m. – James Albert Reed, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Albany. Cited and released.

5:23 p.m. – Caller reported a male going door-to-door trying to sell siding and roofing, 700 block of 29th. Unknown if the male had a peddlers license. Officer unable to locate.

6:35 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle with both tires popped and chain missing, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Bicycle placed in bike shed for safe keeping.

8:01 p.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s house has a broken window and lights on inside, 1800 block of Willow. Officer responded. Home unoccupied. Caller advised.

Feb. 11

12:27 a.m. – Police officer located a bicycle, 900 block of Main. Bike placed in bike shed.

12:33 a.m. – Caller reported hearing dogs and voices on mill property off 18th Avenue. Officer contacted two persons who had set up camp. Both were advised to move on.

9:26 a.m. – Sara Marie Hedrick, 34, arrested on Lane County warrant for parole violation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:44 a.m. – Caller reported that a subject living in the Sweet Home area was possibly involved in a check cashing scam. Officer contacted the male, who was unknowingly involved as a result of online shadowing.

10:40 a.m. – Lisa Marie Krisman, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft of services, John Day. Cited and released.

10:53 a.m. – Caller reported that someone filed taxes without his permission, 1000 block of 38th. Report taken.

1:02 p.m. – Caller reported finding a crack pipe behind the

restrooms, Foster Lake near the dam. Seized for disposal.

2:24 p.m. – David Duane Phillips, 59, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:28 p.m. – Caller reported raw sewage, 1200 block of Fourth. Referred to code enforcement.

3:35 p.m. – Caller reported that a male just stole items, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at $11.32.

4:27 p.m. – Caller reported a possible injured bear cub, 1000 block of Mountain View. Officer located an injured dog and contacted the owner, who said the dog had recently had surgery and was still healing.

5:16 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of tools, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Report taken.

5:47 p.m. – George Josef Drexler, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

8:41 p.m. – Caller reported that a female stole two bouquets of flowers, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

10:35 p.m. – Caller reported that a male attempted to steal a case of beer, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller wanted information noted since the male did not leave with any beer.

Feb. 10

12:27 a.m. – Kevin Earl Terwillger, 51, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft and probation violation, 22nd and Mountain View.

9:36 a.m. – Sherri Lynn Smith, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, Lebanon. Cited and released.

11:53 a.m. – Kevin Wayne Johnston, 22, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and Sweet Home warrant for assault in connection to an incident on Dec. 24, 921 Oak Terrace. Cited and released. Caller had reported that a male who had been trespassed was trying to get into an adjacent apartment.

2:33 p.m. – Kyle William Hadley, 20, arrested for third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:10 p.m. – Marie Therese Ramos, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of theft by receiving, Lebanon. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:17 p.m. – Caller reported possible identity theft, 600 block of Mountain View. Report taken.

3:49 p.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 27, arrested on Sweet Home “do-not-release” warrants for failure to appear and three counts of third-degree theft, Linn County.

6:01 p.m. – Jonathan Travis Bishop, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Seaside. Cited and released.

9:58 p.m. – Caller reported finding a small bag of drugs on the floor, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Property seized for destruction.

11:14 p.m. – James Everett Tagen, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, Linn County.

11:40 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle in a ditch, eastbound Highway 20 and Sun Lane. Driver of vehicle had pulled over but did not realize the ground was soft. Officer stood by while vehicle was pulled out.

Feb. 9

4:07 p.m. – Caller reported someone sleeping on the steps of the East Linn Museum. Officer contacted female, who moved along.

4:19 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole a pair of sunglasses worth $9.99, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken.

7:56 p.m. – Caller reported her dog stolen, 2200 block of Larch. Unknown whether dog ran away or was taken. Information noted.

Feb. 6

12:03 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the caller’s shop, 28400 block of Liberty. Caller reported the theft of two wooden-handled hammers worth $12, two electric drills worth $25, a router and assorted bits worth $80, two hand planes worth $70 and assorted screw drivers and hand chisels worth $28. Report taken.

3:50 p.m. – Flagger on Pleasant Valley Road reported a driver who cursed at her and refused to stop. Deputy responded and warned the driver.

Feb. 4

8:20 a.m. – Caller reported his CB radio stolen on Buck Mountain Road. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.
