4:12 a.m. – Officer located an abandoned vehicle, eastbound in The Narrows, Highway 20 just west of Sweet Home. The passenger window was broken, and a stereo had been taken. Dispatch spoke with Springfield police, which contacted the registered owner, who said she sold the vehicle more than a year earlier.
8:49 a.m. – Caller reported her motorcycle stolen, 1200 block of 40th. Officer spoke with caller, who only had a bill of sale. She planned to go to the Division of Motor Vehicles. Information noted.
9:31 a.m. – Caller reported persons living in an RV in a driveway, 4600 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.
11:10 a.m. – Robert Gary Mills Jr., 35, cited for openly drinking in a public place, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Caller had reported a group of homeless people gathered in front of the Post Office drinking.

1:40 a.m. – Theresa Christine Alberts, 27, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and Sweet home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1300 block of Nandina. Cited and released.
2:20 a.m. – Edwin Todd Hill, 50, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of hit and run, Marion County. Cited and released.
10:38 p.m. – Brandon J. Kirby, 23, arrested on Multnomah warrants for failure to appear on two counts of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), two counts of strangulation (domestic violence) and two counts of harassment (domestic violence, and on a new charge of providing false information to a police officer, 1712 11th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.
Feb. 20
7:26 a.m. – Jody Lawrence Maruffo, 37, arrested for contempt of court and on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 631 Ninth Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:41 a.m. – Caller turned in a flash drive found on Feb. 19 at the Sweet Home Post Office, 1303 Long St.
12:51 p.m. – Caller reported that a male who had been trespassed from location was on the property the previous night, 300 West Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Report taken.
2:10 p.m. – Caller reported a stray dog running around the area, Grape Loop. Officer responded. Unable to catch dog.
2:27 p.m. – Caller reported seeing two males go inside a portable toilet within the previous 10 minutes, and their visits were short, 1200 block of 40th. Officer would be on the lookout.
3:33 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported a 9-1-1 hangup call, 2000 block of 18th. Officer checked the location and found an unsecured door. Officer entered for community caretaking purposes but was unable to locate anyone. Officer secured the door and left a business card.
3:35 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 15th and Main. Report taken. No injuries. No citations. Warning given for failure to obey traffic control device.
8:16 p.m. – Caller reported that a pit bull mix roaming the neighborhood, 1000 block of Fourth. Owner was not home, and the dog tried to attack another neighbor. Officer attempted calling the owner at different numbers. The dog was temporarily secured in the backyard, and the officer left a busienss card for the owner to contact the officer.
10:15 p.m. – Steven Lee Ballweber, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of distribution of meth, north side of Foster Dam. Transported to Linn County Jail.
10:36 p.m. – Cassandra Maria Angulo, 27, cited for driving while suspended, 2300 block of Main.

7:31 a.m. – William Henry Jr., 36, cited for failure to obey pedestrian crossing device, 18th and Main.
7:49 a.m. – Daniel James Gouck, 50, cited on Albany warrant for contempt of court, 1260 Nandina St. Caller had reported a male with a gun running around a dumpster. Male had a pellet gun he had borrowed from a neighbor.
9:43 a.m. – Caller reported that a large truck had hit the railroad trestle. Truck left prior to officer arrival. Railroad notified.
1:01 p.m. – Eight callers reported the theft of personal property, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.
3:18 p.m. – Officer located a set of keys, 100 block of West Holley. Placed in found property.
3:19 p.m. – Michael Lynn Heath, 66, cited for failure to yield right of way at an uncontrolled intersection in two-vehicle crash, 900 block of Main. Second driver, Maria Eugenia Hartmann, 77, transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by ambulance.
11:20 p.m. – John Pablo Scott II, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for third-degree escape and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Calkins Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8 a.m. – Caller reported that a student was hit by a car on the way to school, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Report taken for hit and run. No significant injury.
10:51 a.m. – Paul William Kalina, 40, cited for theft of services, 1140 12th Ave., City Hall.
11:20 a.m. – Edward Oscar Hertel, 38, cited on Linn County warrant for unlawful purchase of a firearm, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
2:43 p.m. – Caller reported that an employee was supposed to make a deposit on Feb. 12, and the bank never received it, 2295 Main St. Report taken for first-degree theft.
3:45 p.m. – Angela Dianne May, 37, arrested for third-degree theft and cited for driving while suspended, South Fork trailer park, space 33. Cited and released.
4:51 p.m. – Robert Jeffrey Anderson, 40, cited for failure to secure parked loaded vehicle, 948 Main St. Caller had reported an alarm at Sweet Home Car Wash. Officer located a vehicle that had rolled into the car wash building.
6:23 p.m. – Shawn Michael Gali, 37, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and probation violation, 1250 Nandina St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:20 a.m. – Caller reported medication stolen from his mailbox, 2500 block of Kalmia. Report taken.
9:37 a.m. – Robert Gary Mills Jr., 35, cited for consuming alcohol in a public place, Sankey Park.
11:25 a.m. – Ian Allen Nolan, 25, arrested for third-degree theft and a Marion County warrant for distribution of a controlled substance, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male stealing beef jerky.
2:04 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 28, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 4200 block of Main.
2:50 p.m. – Shannon Lynn Johnson, 45, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.
3:47 p.m. – Caller reported neighbors moved a box car into their front yard, 1600 block of Cedar. Referred to code enforcement.
4:24 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen, 1023 Main St., Trash to Treasure. Report taken. Loss valued at $80.
8:31 p.m. – Caller reported that a male would not allow a female to leave, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.
8:35 p.m. – During a traffic stop, an officer found incorrect plates on a towed vehicle, 1800 block of Long. Plates seized.
10:04 p.m. – Sixteen-year-old male taken into custody for second-degree criminal trespass, 1641 Long St. Released to a responsible adult. Caller had reported hearing someone on the roof of the library.

10:56 a.m. – Caller reported open storage and accumulated trash, 1700 block of Spruce. Referred to code enforcement.
3:05 p.m. – Todd Buddy James Waterman, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Tillamook. Transported to Tillamook County Jail on other warrants.
5:12 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s property was stolen, 200 block of Holley Road. Report taken. Loss valued at $400.
10:54 p.m.- Tyson Alan Dolby, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Baker County. Cited and released.

9:26 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of tools and other items, 2200 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $650.
11:16 a.m. – Brandon Ryan Freeman, 22, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear, 22nd and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:17 a.m. – Lacey Marie Davidson, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 22nd and Main. Cited and released because Linn County Jail was full.
12:56 p.m. – Caller reported a male with a pistol walking down the road, 18th and Tamarack. Officer contacted a male, who agreed to be searched. No firearms located.
1:16 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in the office, 1700 block of Main. Officer responded and placed dog in a kennel at the Police Department.
2:22 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her shed, 1100 block of Nandina. Report taken.
2:45 p.m. – Caller reported receiving threatening calls and texts, 2700 block of Foothills. Report taken. Female warned for telephonic harassment.
3:29 p.m. – Caller reported that someone sideswiped a vehicle, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Information exchanged.
5:35 p.m. – Caller reported that 31 cows were in her yard, 29100 block of Pleasant Valley. They were taken care of, and information was given to the property owner regarding any damage that may have occurred.
6:31 p.m. – Caller reported a number of items missing when she moved out, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.
Feb. 14
8:49 p.m. – Caller reported that a female broke a window, 900 block of 12th. Officer responded. Caller just wanted information noted. Officer planned to request day shift contact the property owner.
Feb. 13
12:30 p.m. – Caller reported baby goats and mothers were in the roadway, 37800 block of Northern.
Feb. 12
5:59 p.m. – Caller came upon a non injury crash, 26900 block of Fern Ridge Rd. The driver requested the caller pull him out. The caller did not. The vehicle was gone before deputies arrived. There did not appear to be any property damage.
7:42 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of four bags of horse grain worth $80 in the previous 48 hours, 39600 block of Mountain Home.
Feb. 11
10:56 a.m. – When caller was gone for two weeks, someone stole her diesel gas from a tank, 40600 block of Dew.
12:35 p.m. – Caller said someone took a gate off its hinges, and there were tire tracks in the grass up to her yard, 52100 block of Highway 20. Campers were reported to be at the location. This was a USFS camping area and there were no violations.
