9:08 a.m. – Billy Dye Jr., 55, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for two counts of second-degree disorderly conduct, Forest Grove. Cited and released.
11:20 a.m. – Caller reported that a male left the store with a basket full of items and dropped them outside, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Recovered property valued at $69.04.
12:28 p.m. – Caller reported a truck ran over her dog and didn’t stop, 900 block of Terrace. Information noted.

1:23 a.m. – Jesse Aaron Ford, 27, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, Chewy’s. Cited and released.
1:44 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 23, arrested for attempting to elude a police officer and reckless driving, Highway 20 at milepost 25. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:39 p.m. – Caller reported that juveniles walked out with deli food, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller wanted juveniles counseled if located.
6:15 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor threw dog feces all over her back porch, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Officer contacted both parties. The neighbor was upset because the caller won’t pick up after her dogs. Both were counseled for their actions.
9 a.m. – Jody Lawrence Maruffo, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 13th and Long. Cited and released.

1:39 a.m. – John Mark Taylor, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, Albany. Cited and released.
8:37 a.m. – Caller reported a burned vehicle in the woods at the end of 45th Avenue.
9:28 a.m. – Caller reported his truck was hit during the night, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken.
9:56 a.m. – Officer located dogs running loose, Fifth and Juniper. Owner was able to catch one and was still trying to catch the other. The dogs had escaped when the owner’s child opened the door.
10:02 a.m. – Brandon John Cassidy Kirby, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Multnomah County. Cited and released.
12:26 p.m. – Ovid John Teixeira, 52, cited for driving while suspended and arrested on Lebanon warrants for contempt of court, probation violation and failure to appear on original charge of driving while suspended, and Stacy Manuel Teixeira, 51, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 2405 Main St., Circle K. 4:17 p.m. – Caller reported a male with a night stick chasing another male, 3100 block of Main. Witnesses said the parties separated and went different ways.
5:33 p.m. – Harvey Michael Kapicka, 31, taken into custody for detox and second-degree disorderly conduct, 845 Sixth Ave., United Methodist Church. Cited and released. Callers had reported a male being disruptive during dinner by pounding on the table and yelling.
8:28 p.m. – Carlos David Martinez, 25, cited for license, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

10:30 a.m. – Caller reported a dog showed up during the morning, 3200 block of Main. Dog lodged at Sweet Home Police Department until Animal Control could pick it up.
12:52 p.m. – Caller reported his computer was taken, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.
2 p.m. – Marc Noel Osker, 60, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

1:33 p.m. – Caller reported a male throwing trash into Santiam Drug’s trash can, 1530 Main St. Report taken for theft of services. Loss valued at $10.
1:35 p.m. – Caller reported finding a thin piece of wood with blood splattered on it inside a garbage can, 948 Main St., car wash. Officer responded. Wood had paint on it. No further action.
2:18 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole various items from her, 3100 block of Main. Report taken.
3:50 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dogs running around, 3100 block of Main. Officer contacted the owner, who was unaware they were out of the yard.
4:18 p.m. – Caller reported his credit card information had been compromised, 700 block of Fifth. Information noted.
8:57 p.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 21, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and open container of alcohol, 1500 block of Ninth. Vehicle impounded. One caller reported a vehicle had gone off the road near the creek, and another said it went onto a sidewalk near the caller’s house.

6:32 a.m. – Caller reported a male had been standing on the side of the street for a long time, 13th and Main. Officer contacted the male, who was still intoxicated from the previous night. He said he was fine and was just meditating.
9:19 a.m. – Caller reported someone living in an RV over a year, 1100 block of 24th. Referred to code enforcement.
12:08 p.m. – Tyler Wade Fincher, 18, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
4:42 p.m. – Caller reported eight to 10 chickens and roosters, 2300 block of Jefferson. Referred to code enforcement.
Feb. 20
12:19 a.m. – Samantha Christine Mansell, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on possession of meth and two counts of failure to appear, 18th and Main. Cited and released.
4 a.m. – Officer located a male taking tires from a truck, 1707 Main St., Les Schwab Tire Center. The officer told the male that the tires were not free and counseled him for his actions.
6:57 a.m. – Caller reported that one of the sheds at the football field was open. Officer located the unsecured building and secured the doors. The officer planned to notify the school. No sign of forced entry, and nothing appeared missing.
1:10 p.m. – Tiffany Ann Persinger, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Wasco County. Cited and released.
4:29 p.m. – Caller reported that his vehicle was hit the day before, 621 Long St., Thriftway. Information noted.
5:02 p.m. – Caller reported a male ramming a female with a bicycle and shaking her, 3200 block of Main. Caller broke up the disturbance twice. Officer unable to locate but would be on the lookout.
6:35 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs were out, 300 block of W. Pine. Officer responded and was able to get a dog into the backyard. The officer pushed a yard debris can in front of a hole in the fence. He left a business card at the door.
7:44 p.m. – Female bitten by her own dog, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Dog quarantined. Female transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
11:04 p.m. – Robin David Fox III, 27, arrested for first-degree criminal mischief, 5527 Poplar St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported that his nephew kicked in a car door and threatened to burn down the caller’s house.
Feb. 19
9:14 a.m. – Caller reported that there was a stallion in her pasture, 26800 block of Rowell Hill. This is an ongoing issue, and the caller said the horse has tried to kick her son. A deputy spoke with the neighbor who said he is trying to get rid of the horse. This was referred to Linn County Animal Control for followup.
9:51 a.m. – Caller reported that a large tree came down, 43500 block of Wiley Creek. It pulled down some power lines.
9:55 a.m. – A tree, 6 inches in diameter, fell and blocked half of the road on Santiam Terrace near Highway 20.
11:14 a.m. – Caller said a large tree was blocking the roadway about a mile down the hill, 24600 block Springer Road. It was approximately 3- to 4-feet in diameter and blocking the roadway.
3:09 p.m. – Wesley Alan House, 33, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Cited and released. Caller had reported her boyfriend trashing the house. The female was yelling at a male to stop and then hung up on dispatch. Officer responded. Verbal only.
4:52 p.m. – Caller reported a business was left unsecured, and the owner wasn’t around, 2200 block of Main. Officer responded. Business secure. No sign of suspicious activity inside.
6:24 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor ran into his parked vehicle, 900 block of Third. Caller only wanted a police report for insurance purposes. Officer supplied the caller with the correct forms.
10:50 p.m. – Caller reported a van had been parked since the night before, 2000 block of 18th. Officer contacted a male who was previously warned for violating city ordinances and advised him of options regarding a camping permit extension.
Feb. 16
10:07 a.m. – Caller said he was stuck in the area for two days because his vehicle broke down, 44800 block of Quartzville. He said he walked for 10 miles to get cell service. A deputy responded and gave him a ride into town.
3:35 p.m. – A Taurus PT 111, generation two, 9 mm semi-automatic pistol, were reported stolen from a residence, 1000 block of Pleasant Valley Road. Report taken.
3:46 p.m. – Caller said someone broke his mailbox open sometime during the night, 26900 block of Old Holley. He did not notice any mail missing, but there was damage to the lock mechanism on his mailbox.
Feb. 15
7:39 p.m. – Sweet Home Police Department received a tip that there may be drag racing between 7:30 p.m. And 7:45 p.m., 26100 block of Teco. A deputy responded but was unable to locate anything.
