Feb. 5

12:41 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking in the area, 600 block of Mountain View. Officer unable to locate.

1:14 a.m. – Caller reported that someone drove by and threw something at her window, 1200 block of 49th. Window damaged. Report taken.

1:17 a.m. – Caller reported that someone drove by his house and threw eggs at his car, 4500 block of Long. Information noted. No apparent damage.

1:40 a.m. – Officer located a house that had been egged, 4700 block of Long. Report taken.

1:44 a.m. – Officer located a house that had been egged, 1200 block of 49th. Report taken.

1:49 a.m. – Officer located a house someone had attempted to egg, 1200 block of 49th.

6:53 a.m. – Steven Andrew Williamson, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

9:55 a.m. – Caller reported that his vehicle and two guns were stolen, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

11:04 a.m. – Caller reported a two-vehicle crash, 800 block of Main. Report taken. Drivers exchanged information. No injuries. No citations.

12:52 p.m. – Caller turned in a bicycle found in some trees, 4200 block of Main. Placed in found property.

Feb. 4

3:56 a.m. – Caller reported a parked vehicle with people sleeping in it, 1801 Main St., All Star Auto. Officer contacted the owner of the vehicle. He advised that the car broke down, and he would push it off the lot.

9:05 a.m. – Caller reported that someone took keys out of his vehicle, 900 block of Dogwood. Report taken.

11:14 a.m. – Caller reported a trespassed male was in the store, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken for contempt of court.

11:27 a.m. – Allen Ray Madero, 19, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.

11:54 a.m. – Caller reported a dog was howling since midnight, 2400 block of Harding. Officer located a dog stuck in berry bushes. Officer was unable to get to the dog, but it was no longer barking. Unknown who the dog belongs to.

12:56 p.m. – Caller reported dog running loose in the area for about a week, 43rd and Osage. Officer unable to locate. Caller would call back if dog returns.

2:14 p.m. – Caller reported that a male walked out with two buckets of fried chicken worth $14.99, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

2:17 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was on the roof during the night, 1301 Main St., Sweet Home Liquor. The gutters had been moved. Caller requested extra patrol as time allows.

7:11 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog with a long chain tied to it showed up at his residence, 900 block of Fifth. Prior to arrival, the caller released the dog. No longer a law enforcement issue. The Police Department was unable to house dogs at that time.

8:02 p.m. – Annie Lee Bowsher, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

Feb. 3

12:22 a.m. – Dallas Andrew Samson, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1200 block of 12th. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:26 a.m. – Steven Dale Bergevin, 28, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

7:07 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle left at Circle K, 2405 Main St., all night long. Placed in found property.

10:21 a.m. – Caller reported a female sitting under a tree yelling, City Hall parking lot. Officer responded. Female was fine and went on her way.

11:54 a.m. – Lisa Marie Jones, 55, arrested for harassment (domestic violence) and second-degree disorderly conduct, 1340 47th Ave. Cited and released. A caller had reported a female and male trying to kick each other off bicycles and then a female hitting a male with a closed fist.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported that it appeared a male dressed in all black with a hoody was spray painting a mural, 1200 block of Main. The graffiti may have been an older criminal mischief, but officer took a report.

6:08 p.m. – Caller reported that a female driver’s vehicle struck a male in the parking lot, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Medics responded. Male refused transport to the hospital. No citations.

Feb. 2

8:23 a.m. – Caller reported owners leave a dog outside with no shelter, and the dog barks the whole time it is outside, 2100 block of Cedar. Officer responded. No one home, and the dog was no longer outside.

8:50 a.m. – Caller reported mail scattered all over the ground, South Hills Trail. Placed in found property.

9:36 a.m. – Kaytlin Michelle Hurt, 24, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment. Cited and released.

10:18 a.m. – Officer located keys in the lobby, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.

10:24 a.m. – Oregon State Police reported a firearm denial from October, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken for unlawful possession of a firearm. Report forwarded to city attorney.

11:06 a.m. – Officer located an elderly dog, First and Nandina. Dog placed in kennel.

3:03 p.m. – Caller reported that a teacher found marijuana on the floor of a classroom, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Placed in found property.

5:15 p.m. – Carlo Faye Schmidt, 51, cited for driving while suspended, 1540 Main St., Safway.

5:23 p.m. – Jacob Todd Newberg, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Douglas County. Cited and released.

10:02 p.m. – Katina Leann May, 44, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft and probation violation, 536 Ninth Ave. Cited and released.

10:40 p.m. – Robert Norman Jaques, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Cited and released.

Feb. 1

12:04 a.m. – Robert Aaron Davis, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County. Cited and released.

8:43 a.m. – Michael Ralph Marshal, 34, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and offensive littering, and Amanda Rae Stafford, 40, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, offensive littering and resisting arrest, 2000 block of Willow. Both cited and released.

10:49 a.m. – Caller reported a saw stolen from his truck, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $120.

12 p.m. – Caller reported a malnourished dog freezing outside, 400 block of Fifth. Officer contacted a relative of the dog’s owner. The dog is 13 years old and due to a food allergy on a special diet. The dog is under a vet’s care.

Jan. 31

2:14 a.m. – Caller reported that a shoplifter stole a lighter, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Caller wanted the female trespassed if located. Information noted.

10:33 a.m. – Caller turned in a men’s wedding band found on Dec. 7, 1707 Main St., Les Schwab Tire Center. Placed in found property.

11:45 a.m. – Brittny Ann Mahlee Gibson, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original two counts of possession of meth, 1140 12th Ave., City Hall. Transported To Linn County Jail.

12:39 p.m. – Ross Allen Scott, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County. Cited and released.

1:48 p.m. – Oregon State Police reported litter was dumped on Northern near the SM600 gate, which was believed to be private farm property. Report taken.

1:56 p.m. – Earl Kenneth Maughmer, 53, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unlawful possession of a weapon and a new charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 1119 26th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Police recovered a vehicle stolen form Michigan. Investigation continuing.

4:16 p.m. – Caller reported that he was assaulted at school, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Investigation continuing.

Jan. 30

5:35 a.m. – Caller reported a male going through garbage cans, Sixth and Juniper. Officer contacted the male and advised him not to go through garbage cans. He agreed to stop.

7:55 a.m. – Sheli Starr, 47, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 27000 block of Rowell Hill. A caller had reported a vehicle was parked in front a vacant house and a male and female were at a vacant residence.

8:23 a.m. – Caller reported a male cutting down trees for firewood, South Hills Trail. Report taken.

9:01 a.m. – Caller reported a trailer full of metal blocking the driveway, 1800 block of 18th. Referred to code enforcement.

9:35 a.m. – Caller reported a person living in a chicken coop, 1700 block of Fir. Referred to code enforcement.

10:12 a.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 35, cited and released on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of unauthorized departure, 1762 Main St., Goodwill.

11:33 a.m. – Caller reported garbage and debris all over the road and persons living in an RV, 1800 block of Vine. Referred to code enforcement.

11:54 a.m. – Caller reported a sewer line broke and is backing up in front of the yard, 2200 block of Larch. Referred to code enforcement.

2:21 p.m. – Theresa Christina Alberts, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:37 p.m. – Douglas William Todd, 54, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male urinating in the bushes and another male sleeping on the sidewalk and blocking the way for customers.

3 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle with flat tires parked on the road for a long time, 400 block of Fifth. Referred to code enforcement.

5:09 p.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 12th and Elm. Officer unable to locate.

Jan. 29

5:05 p.m. – Caller reported that his neighbor’s dog is barking again and has broken down a barrier fence, 700 block of Eighth.

7:47 p.m. – Michael Todd Sylvester, 52, turned in himself on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to appear and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

Jan. 27

6:15 p.m. – Caller reported her husband’s wallet was stolen on Christmas Eve and her jewelry box and earrings were stolen sometime between 1:30 and 3:15 p.m. the day of this call, 30300 block of Fairview. The loss value for jewelry is approximately $1,280. Report taken.

6:20 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog ran out in front her vehicle and she hit him, 43100 block of North River. The injured dog’s owner picked him up.

Jan. 26

11:01 a.m. – Caller reported a workman cart stolen sometime during the night of Jan. 23, 43900 block of McDowell Creek. Report taken.

4:33 p.m. – Caller was in the process of moving and noticed two propane tanks and a flat screen TV were stolen, 28800 block of Weatherly. Loss value was $130. Report taken.

Jan. 25

10:16 p.m. – Caller reported the door of a residence broken and approximately $1,600 worth of jewelry taken, 27900 block of Riggs Hill. Report taken.
